Fantastic vegan Indian cooking course! Spice Monkey catered for the vegans (thank you so much for thinking of us). We cooked several dishes. The course was very education as Nikita taught us about spices,shared stories and showed us how to cook a great selection of dishes. I have since found an amazing Indian shop thanks to Nikita’s recommendation. I have also recreated some of the dishes, which were delicious. Thank you Nikita. My husband and I had a wonderful time at the course.

I highly recommend this course! Me and my girlfriend had a blast, one of the best cooking class I've done and the teacher is very talented, fun and goes above and beyond to give us tips and tricks. I'll definitely be cooking india food more often now. Immediately after the class I went to buy all the spices!

I attended a class at Spice Monkey cooking school in Dec 2020 - despite current covid-related restrictions everything went perfectly smooth ! We cooked several dishes together and the day was wonderful, it felt as close as a trip to India (when you can't travel in 2020..). Nik introduced us to some history of Indian cooking which was fascinating, and a tasting of most common spices - enlightening ! Some of the recipes I have replicated at home already only a couple of days after the class. Would highly recommend overall !

I had a wonderful experience at spicemonkey class. Nikita is very welcoming, has a wonderful sense of humour and a very impressive knowledge of indian cuisine. The hours flew by and we learnt insanely delicious dishes, all in a very pelasant, clean and bright space. It was a pleasure to be surrounded by colours, smells and sounds (mustard seeds!!) from such a rich cuisine. I am totally in love with indian cooking and I look forward to future classes. I did the Taste of the Punjab course & had a wonderful day. Nik is a knowledgable and good teacher, and the menu/dishes we prepared were delicious. I found I picked up lots of immediately useable tips for cooking at home, and some new favourite recipes. Despite the restrictions imposed by covid, the class was still an excellent experience, and I imagine I'll revisit in the future to learn some more dishes from elsewhere in India.

Such a great day, a multi-sensory extravaganza....Nik was an excellent mentor to guide us through the tastes, textures, smells, sounds & touch of authentic Indian cooking. A lovely relaxed atmosphere in the conservatory kitchen, stories shared & delicious food to boot. The family were very chuffed to devour the 5 dishes we made when I got home. I did the Spice Monkey beginners course and it was fantastic! The day was fun and interesting and the food amazing! Nikita was great at breaking the ice and did I mention the food was amazing!!! I would really recommend Spice Monkey if you want to try out Indian cooking and learn skills that you can adapt for all sorts of dishes.

What a truly fantastic experience! A whole day filled with cookery education, learning about spices and creating some absolutely spectacular dishes! Nikita came to our house and ran the 'indian feast' cooking course for myself and three others and we had a ball from start to finish. The food was incredible and I have the confidence to make every one of the dishes again. Just wow - a very special day!
