Firstly, I would like to apologise to Ali and Julia for the late review. Oh The Indian Dish!! - Before I even start, a massive THANK YOU!! We wanted to do something nice for our son's first birthday as we could not do much during COVID. We were looking for event managers and caterers for months and we came across The Indian Dish on Instagram and instantly fell in the love with the food pictures and were very keen to try them out. I got in touch with Ali on the phone and discussed everything in detail and he was available for the date we requested. We made so many changes leading to the event and Ali did not hesitate at bit. Ali and Julia took over and arranged everything for us. Right from the beautiful marquee, lighting, heating, China hire, tables, chairs, drinks, personalised menus for the guest and the delicious food. I have eaten a lot of Indian food but this by far is the best I've eaten in UK. It was something different, very delicious like home made food but with a twist. On the day, Julia and Ali set up everything so perfectly. They were like one of our own.The detailing of every thing they setup was flawless with personalised menus for the guests and on the desert which was edible. The guest love the food and hospitality. The kids had a great time. Food was spectacular, the starters, the main course and my favourite - a well made lamb biryani. Perfect! I will be definitely going back to The Indian Dish for more parties - One stop shop and totally stress free as we can enjoy the party and not worry about anything. Highly Recommended!!

Ahead of Director Michael Whitebread’s 60th Anniversary with Adam,Rouilly, we held a surprise celebration. The Indian Dish®️ catered the event, and the food was incredible. If you need an event catered, we highly recommend Julia Hussain and the team. Some comments from our guests: “I enjoyed it all so much I asked for a doggie bag to take home” “The Vegetable Balti was my favourite main, but everything was full of delicious flavour” “The staff were also very warm and friendly, which was just the cherry on top!”

The Indian Dish is a great catering business with wonderful food. They catered for our party(chef to table expereince). Was the first time having that experience and it was amazing. There mango and paneer parcels was my favourite. We had a group of 14 and they catered very well including seconds for everyone and some leftovers for the next day. I would highly recommend them.

Easy to deal with. Good Service & Great Food. I first met Julia through a networking forum and subsequently met Ali, her then husband to be and provided my services at RacingEvents for part of his 'stag' do. It seemed only appropriate, especially as I enjoy Indian cuisine, that having organised a 'Garden Party' that we consider engaging Julia & Ali and The Indian Dish as our caterers of choice. They were both very easy to deal with, keen, enthusiastic, professional and had experience of other such events. We immediately bought into them and agreed how and what we wanted for our event. They and there Team duly delivered, looked smart and delivered on their promises. Would highly recommend.

We have been ordering regularly from Bhaji Bhaji since lockdown and they started a home delivery service. It is amazing to be able to have this type of food. Always great portions, authentic Indian food and a lovely service too. We are vegan and they have been really accommodating in making sure we have great options each time we order. Highly recommend! First time ordering from ‘The Indian Dish’. I am new to area so finding such great food on my doorstep is amazing. I had chicken bhuna, rice, onion bhaji, lamb samosa and paratha. Food tasted amazing and so fresh, I even had leftovers for lunch the next day. Food arrived hot and on time. Will 💯 be ordering again.

Where to start?! Ali and Julia catered for our wedding, and they were absolutely superb. Starting with the tasting - they gave us a great menu but were also really open to suggestions and feedback. We landed on a set of canapés and buffet dishes that we were really happy with. Then, in the lead up to the wedding, they were incredibly communicative, and also coordinated things really well with our other suppliers. We didn’t have to stress about anything to do with the catering, trusting that they had it all in hand. And finally, on the day they did an amazing job at preparing and providing the food. All of our guests loved the food. Their staff too were incredibly helpful and friendly. We can’t recommend The Indian Dish enough - not just great food, but top people too.

The Indian Dish were the catering hosts for a friend's garden party over the weekend. There was two options available which catered for meat eaters, vegans and those who needed a gluten free option. Plus two sides. The food was sublime and was supplied in takeaway containers, really giving off that festival vibe! A great addition / way to host a gathering! Highly recommend! Would love to see Ali and the team appear at festivals, I would 100% be first in the queue.

Receiving our weekly friday night curry from Bhaji Bhaji during lockdown was amazing. Nothing else in our area was open and it was so nice to have a bit of normality during those weeks, and I'm sure a lot of hard work went into delivering all over Kent! Their vegan dishes are delicious and so healthy compared to other indian takeaways. I can't wait to book them for a dinner party or event in the future as so far everyone I've recommended them to has agreed their food is the best!

I have used Bhaji Bhaji multiple times in the past and this time they catered for my brother’s wedding and at very short notice! It was the second wedding to be held in Maidstone after lockdown restrictions on weddings were eased and so this truly was a momentous occasion for all involved. Not to mention my brother and his wife had the day of their lives and Bhaji Bhaji helped to make that happen. The food was individually wrapped and sealed with a name label for each person and was delivered with social distancing in mind. “Delicious!" "OMG! MMMM!" and “I have never eaten Indian food that tastes so good!” were just some of the comments that the guests of the wedding exclaimed. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They are superb - service, quality and speed!

The first birthday is always a milestone but it's also nice to just keep it simple between close family and friends. Our son’s first birthday Jungle Theme party. We were so relaxed and calm as “The Indian Dish” took over. Everything was amazing. They were so professional, efficient and the food was absolutely delicious. They arrived on time, set up, cleaned up and were just brilliant. I can’t praise them enough. Our son’s first birthday felt like a mini wedding. Beautiful Indian food and all our family and friends loved it. Had the most amazing experience with The Indian Dish. Planned a surprise birthday party for my Mum and messaged Ali months in advance who was so accommodating to my requests, ideas, budget, everything. Helped my vision come to life and meant I didn’t have to worry about a thing! So genuinely lovely and helpful! Not to mention the absolutely delicious food that most people went back for thirds of. Their food is as fresh as can be, full of flavour, and reasonably priced. They are also lovely people and easy to work with. We are very big fans. I love the Indian Dish!! I got in touch with them to cater for a small Indian wedding my wife and I were having and it was the best decision we made! The food was delicious, their set up was exactly what we wanted and everyone was so attentive, thoughtful and did a smashing job! No one went hungry and EVERYONE was complimenting the food. *EDIT*. We had our wedding consultation with the bhaji bhaji team and really could not fault a thing. The lovely personal touch of having a sign up with our names, to the cooking of, not only the dishes we’d specially requested but a range of other bites and starters that were absolutely delicious, really made for a fab evening. Julia has been so quick and helpful with all her email correspondence and she was even lovelier in person. The food was all exceptional, coupled with their lovely presentation and excellent service I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. Well Indian Dish absolutely delivered the goods. We booked these guys for our evening wedding reception a good while ago, our tasting was fantastic and their food on the day was possibly even better. Our guests honestly raved about the curry’s served, how great the bhaji’s and samosas were, and the delicious naan. All this with fantastic, friendly service. Indian Dish, you were awesome!

The indian dish created a beautiful experience for our wedding day. They had elegant carts that fit the theme we wanted for our afternoon canape indian wedding. The food was AMAZING, all of our guests were raving about the Bombay wraps and the Chaat especially. Bhaji Bhaji were wonderful - from initial contact to our big Birthday event. Efficient, friendly, helpful and reassuring that nothing was an issue and anything on their menu could be adapted if needed. However .. we didn’t change anything, Bhaji Bhaji menus are online as well as fantastic pictures of the amazing dishes they create for you to drool over: Ali offered advice and help on a menu to suit 60+ people; all of differing ages and tastes. Having the Bhaji Bhaji Street stand and cooking at home was brilliant; the smell of fresh spices cooking off was enticing. The service Bhaji Bhaji gave was more than friendly, welcoming, they were great, putting all guests at ease, encouraging them to try everything and return for more 😄. Brilliant. They helped make the party a special and memorable event. The food is standout excellent, exceeded all expectations, everyone loved it. Am planning another event, mainly for the opportunity to eat Bhaji Bhaji’s delicious, well cooked food again. We enjoyed the evening very much . The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was full of flavour and spice . The triumphs of the night, for us ,were the cheesecake and the sweets served with tea at the end of the meal . The only problem we had was the seating in the venue which is fine for a coffee and cake but was uncomfortable for us older people,when sitting for a three hour feast . I will be recommending my friends to try your delicious Indian street food.

Food was thoughtfully and beautifully presented. The team seem to pay attention to detail in terms of giving punters a taste of genuine Pakistani food- from the starters to mains and dessert. The colours and smells at every course were a real delight to any curry gourmand. Also, there was adequate time left for diners to prepare their tummies and tastebuds between courses -there were seven! All in all a wonderful dining experience and I would thoroughly recommend this place.

We’re long standing customers of Bhaji Bhaji... initially coming along to an eat in session in Tonbridge to secretly try food out for my husbands surprise 40th party. Needless to say we chose them... The food at the party was delicious and everyone thought it was fantastic. During the pandemic we’ve been lucky enough to be able to get periodic deliveries and fill our small freezer... and they have been very welcome indeed. The Valentine’s meal was particularly special. I absolutely love these guys. Firstly, you couldn’t ask for a nicer bunch of people who know how to offer an impeccable service, all done with broad smiles. The food is amazing and worthy of any fine dining - we have had two parties and must have received literally one hundred compliments about the food. On the second occasion people were asking if we were getting the same caterers before responding to their invitation. A little unnerving, but testament to how good the food is. It goes without saying, I would highly recommend.
