Reviews of Baity Palestinian Kitchen
T. J.
A restaurant we were very hopeful for, we had received many recommendations and heard very good things of Baity Palestinian Kitchen.
The decor is nice and relaxed, it feels welcoming, the front of house staff were good if a little indifferent. The food was very good on the whole, with 2 excellent dishes and 2 mediocre ones. Will happily eat here again if going with friends but if looking for the best of Middle Eastern food I would venture elsewhere.
s. m.
The starters were better than the mains. The fish was flavourful but nothing exceptional and I couldn’t see (or, rather, taste) why the chicken was award- winning. It did the job and filled me up with adequate flavours. I was expecting to be mind blown but it didn’t reach that level. Palestinian, pretty decor and place to pray with attentive and friendly staff made the place worth the visit. I’ll be back to try other dishes.

Middle Eastern cuisine is just not shawarma and kebabs, there is a lot lot more to it and this restaurant is the perfect place to be introduced to other flavours.
Location - The place is right on the main streets of Didsbury. A little walk from tram station but it isn’t inaccessible.
Ambiance- Clean and minimal aesthetics. Not a fancy fine fine interiors but it is beautifully decorated and serves the purpose.
Food- They are serving a niche market by not serving kebab wraps and rolls but providing authentic Middle Eastern flavours. Every single dish we ordered was mind blowing. The spice levels were perfect and the food wasn’t greasy. I really loved every bite of my meal and to my surprise, there were plenty of vegetarian options as well.
Loved the place and surely will be visiting to try more dishes
S. S.
Tried their 8 hour slow roasted Jericho lamb it was sublime. The lamb was super soft and flavoursome. Also some of those other dishes, everything was great 😍
It’s a small place for seating but really cute. Well worth a trip to Didsbury!
Palestinian Food, vegan/vegetarian options, great service 😊

This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work.
First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one.
The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish.
I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand

First time visiting Baity. Very nice interior decor and a calming ambience. Nice selection on menu. We tried the Zuhura Tea with Honey which was very nice.
For mains we had the Maqluba with lamb and Masakhan (award winning) - both were amazing. The lamb in the Maqluba was tender and rice flavourful. The bread in the Masakhan was amazingly soft, chicken was great with the onion jam. We had the Kenafa Cheesecake for dessert. Overall great experience and we'd come back to try the small plates next time. I'd recommend Baity to all, very nice restaurant in Didsbury.

Lovely food and great service.
Had an array of starters and opted for the Musakhan chicken main which was well seasoned and tender. The sumac infused bread along with the flaked almonds on top was divine.
O. I.
Small intimate setting. Amazing food that tasted genuinely home-made and authentic. The chicken musakhan is what they’re known for and it was tender and flavourful. Be warned it has a LOT of onions and it was a bit too overpowering for me. Was hoping to try the kunafa as it looked really good but was too full…will have to come back!

Fantastic place! Great food, nice vibes, friendly staff, can't fault it. We ordered mini plates - batata harrra, hummus lamb shawarma, falafel. Then as mains we ordered - Mujadarra (veg dish with rice and lentils and sauce) and Shish Taouk (chicken kebab, smoked rice, sauce). All food was very tasty! this place is halal and doesn't serve alcohol but they do have a nice selection of non alcoholic drinks. Highly recommend this place!
C. S.
I hadn’t eaten Palestinian food before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was in for a big surprise. The food was delicious, the serving staff were helpful and friendly, and the ambience was perfect. A real unexpected treat. Pro tip: book a table in advance as it gets jam-packed.
s. 1.
This was our 2nd visit to this small but lovely Palestinian Restaurant. The food was as always delicious. My favourite dish is Musakhan. The Owner & Staff are friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend a visit but always busy try to pre book.
f. k.
Really cool decor, did want to eat in but was fully booked. Ordered the Maqluba lamb which was tasty, meat was tender, very lightly spiced and yogurt was quite tangy. Would be interested in trying other items on the menu eating in.
S. S.
While visiting the city, a friend recommended this place as one that can’t be missed; he was absolutely spot on. The experience, food, and drinks were impeccable. The Kunafa was spectacular, be sure not to miss it!
N. E.
Great food, amazing atmosphere and pleasant staff🔥👌 would come for more!!
H. W.
Visited here yesterday for the first time and I wasn't disappointed!! We tried a couple of the veggie dishes and they were spot on. Probably the best falafel I've tried yet. And the hummus with caramelized onions was devine! Friendly staff and very clean. Can't wait to go back to try all the meat dishes too 😋
T. S.
Had a great dinner, good service and place with a nice atmosphere. Baklava with tea for dessert, perfect!
M. H.
Wow! Delicious tasty food. Eveything that i had ordered was so good. Staff and owner were awesome and freindly. Only thing let down was portion size. For the money i would expect a little bit more. 3 tiny lambs chops is not enough. So i would order plenty of starters (5 or 6 if you are a group of 4) if you are going there which i definitely would recommend to go there. Lots of parking around but book in advance for a table.

With its traditional Palestinian menu and modern decor reflecting Palestinian culture and hospitality values, this cosy little restaurant is a great addition to the Didsbury food scene. Having tasted food in Palestine, I didn’t have expectations to relive the experience in the UK, especially with the recent rise of ‘Mediterranean inspired ‘ restaurants that don’t consider a ‘must have’ element of Mediterranean hospitality, tradition and heritage. But Baity ( My home in arabic) didn’t fail to deliver, and in fact, made me feel at home. We had some traditional mezze starters which I would rate very highly similar to winners in the field. As for the main, we decided to challenge the Chef and order traditional musakhan. Again, the meal was well balanced and greatly presented. The one difference to Palestinian musakhan would be the fresh virgin olive oil pinchy taste from an olive oil mill in Palestine, which is something you can only get in Palestine. I have to admit, the staff and especially the Palestinian gentleman who welcomed us and took our order were all extremely helpful and attentive. This not only is a true reflection of Palestinian hospitality, but also something you rarely get for a moderate price tag around Greater Manchester. Finally, the pricing was on point and normal for similar offerings in the area. Overall, we had a great experience and couldn’t recommend Baity more to anyone willing to try true Palestinian cuisine.
D. M.
We had a great evening, I had the lamb kofta, it was delicious. The decor and the ambience were the perfect backdrop for a lovely evening.
Service was friendly and this is a really beautiful restaurant to be highly recommended.
M. H.
If you're looking for an authentic Palestinian restaurant with true heritage dishes with a deep homely feel to it, this is the place! Constant smiles and great service, 10/10. It is must try☝🏾
A. Z.
Excellent food, would highly recommend! Ordered the Jericho Roasted Whole Lamb for a party was fantastic! Really tasty and succulent, the meat melted in your mouth.
F. A.
I would give this place more stars if I could. An absolute gem of a place. Delicious food that melts in your mouth - I would definitely recommend all the dishes, but my favourite is Musakhan. This is the national dish of Palestine, and is authentically and loving prepared and served in Manchester. The cheesecake is light and flavoursome, and the service is second to none. Friendly, welcoming staff and a lovely, warm atmosphere make this the place to go. Well priced, good sized portions, and flavour that will have you visiting again and again.
S. A.
I came here with a couple of friends (one of whom is Palestinian) to try authentic Palestinian food and let me tell you, we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious, the ambience was lovely and homely, and the service was with a smile. I had a great time and would highly recommend this place.
L. L.
Amazing resturant! Absolutely delicious food and lovely service. Would highly recommend. My friend's vegan meal was just as excellent.
A. B.
Amazing food, so delicious. The restaurant it self is minimal but also a statement. Atmosphere is chilled and authentic too. Staff are amazing
J. B.
Had an absolutely delicious meal here last, I was expected it to be nice but not this nice. The houmous and falafel starters were so good and we also had the Musakhan which was incredible. The chicken was so tender and moist. Our only issue was we ordered too much and couldn't finish everything! Will definitely return.
T. G.
One of the most delicious meals I've had in a while! Love the authentic Palestinian food, and the decor and setting is beautiful. Highly recommended!
S. K.
Lovely restaurant and delicious food. Worth a visit but as only a small place will need to book a table.
A. S.
Tried a takeaway for the first time. Overall the food was very tasty, well presented and delivery was fast. However the maqluba had one solitary slice of eggplant and very little lamb (which was delicious) considering the price. The falafel had a great flavour but were slightly chewy rather than than crisp, and the flatbread was too dry and chewy to eat. Given that Manchester now has a lot of Middle Eastern restaurants to choose from I'm not sure we would rush to order again sadly.
F. A.
Brilliant Palestinian restaurant in the heart of Didsbury. Highly recommended if you want some authentic Palestinian food. All presentation and taste were on point. I'll definitely be back.
A. M.
Amazing food! We tried half of the menu and were not disappointed. Genuinely the nicest Kunefe I’ve ever tasted!!
J. W.
This lot catered for a wedding I was at and dear me, it was exceptional. They were so easy to interact with, a great laugh and simply brilliant at what they do. Really, really looking forward to getting down to the restaurant ASAP to not just eat their wonderful offerings but see these fantastic people again.
N. S.
Really lovely addition to Didsbury. Second time visiting last night and the food was delicious again and nice atmosphere. Friendly service.
M. A.
Every single plate said I’m the best
O. B.
I have been into the restaurant on many occassions & even had the guys cater for family celebrations at home numerous times. Each & every time has been a real treat- the setting is always welcoming, the service is attentive without being overbearing & the food is always plentiful, delicious, full of flavour, varied to suit all (veggie etc) & the dining experience is always first class.
Keep up the good work guys!
j. p.
Welcoming staff. Great food. Great place. Will be going back soon.
d. s.
We were walking past and called in for a late lunch with my wife. The food was amazing and staff/owner were really friendly. Definitely heading back with friends. Thanks
C. G.
Was nice. I wouldn't say value for money but the food was tasty. Leaving he shells on the prawns when they're in a thick sauce was a bit strange but forgivable. I would have expected more lamb in the main also.
E. D.
Service was excellent, the staff/owners were very friendly. Lovely decor and very well presented place. As an Asian, who is used to different flavours, the food wasn’t for me and felt the prices were high compared to the portion sizes. Lovely experience none the less.
v. k.
I don't usually like lamb from restaurants/takeaways, but this dish was brilliant!
Service is excellent, and the staff and owner are really friendly!
M. R.
Good food. Very authentic
A. Z.
Fantastic and fine food from starters to dessert.. I think the homemade touch makes it the most authentic taste outside Palestine. Thank you and keep it up :))
A. B.
My wife, 6 month old son and I went to Baity for a weekday dinner. Found the staff to be very helpful and understanding for my fussy 6 month old. Atmosphere was lovely and calm and of course the food was fantastic. I had the flavourful musakkhan chicken which was served quickly whereas my wife had the maqluba. Portion sizes were deceptively large. Overall good value for money.
R. F.
Went to this lovely restaurant last night with family. The service was excellent from start to finish. The food was excellent from the starters, main, desserts and the mint tea were excellent. What was even nicer that the owner took time to talk to customers which you don't often see. Will definitely visit again.
S. M.
The food is second to none. I had the half a chicken and my friend had lamb chops, both of which were fantastic. The starters are great too - I’d highly recommend the halloumi and yogurt.
Book online to avoid disappointment, it’s a pretty small place!
A. A.
A fantastic meal, lovely ambience, fresh ingredients, well cooked authentic food. Kunafa and mint tea was a fitting treat at the end, would highly recommend.
c. c.
Had a very good experience when Baity first opened but today's meal was a letdown. Food was fine but service was subpar particularly given they had 2 members of staff serving only a handful of tables.
Booked a table and waited 20 minutes to get seated. While we were waiting, there was another table (also for 4) which was empty this whole time. Not entirely sure why we were could not be seated there instead?
The waitresses were friendly and polite but we had to ask for cutlery for the starters and then again for the main. Husband then asked for another drink with his main course but this was forgotten about for the duration of the meal. Some essential skills lacking there.
All of this would have been acceptable had the food been mind blowing which is not the case here. 3 stars only and could not recommend the restaurant when there are other places nearby that also offer great food but a much better service.
D. C.
Had a takeaway this evening and will be back for sure. The food was excellent.
The staff were very friendly and as it's not too large in there I expect they look after the tables well and can advise on dishes.
I had Fatet Jàj as a side. Chicken with toasted pita and yoghurt/pommegranote topping. It was gently spiced to taste lovely with no chilli heat so defo worth a try. For main, Shish Taouk Chicken that was grilled and served with Borghol which I believe is cracked bulgerwheat and grilled peppers. Absouldty Delicious. Very ballanced and nutritious dishes.
A lovely introduction to Palistinian food.
j.
Couldn't fault it, one of the best places I've been post lockdown - would recommend!
S. N.
Excellent service and the food was delicious, would definitely recommend!
L. F.
The place itself is lovely. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and the service is nice and attentive. However the food I found to be really underwhelming. The houmous was tasteless. The flatbread was chewy and straight out of the microwave. The prawns were over cooked and the potatoes were nice and crispy but not hot enough and the tomato sauce just tasted cheap. Based on the food I would not recommend.
S. C.
I was looking forward to coming here as part of a trip with my daughter. I was disappointed by the lack of seasoning in the dishes I had, the rice dish didn't pack a punch whereas when I have eaten in other similar places the food was really flavoursome. Nice textures though and the hummus fish was good and the bread was lovely. I was surprised to be approached by the waitress to pay the bill when we were chatting and thought that was unacceptable. I didn't like that, otherwise the service was good.
F. T.
Great food, great service. Definitely recommend.
O. M.
All I can say is wow. Best scran I’ve had in a long while, everything was top. Sumac veggies were incredible. Musakhan was so tender it was succulent, sweet and sensational. Wouldn’t hesitate to order from here again. Options for everybody no matter what. Delivery also on time couldn’t fault it whatsoever.
M. K.
An authentic and unique restaurant in the heart of Didsbury offering Palestinian cuisine with a lovely vibe.
S. M.
Great food, quick and attentive service, nice and calm environment
A. R.
Delicious food in a lovely atmosphere and good service.
H. A.
There’s few places in Manchester where you would feel comfortable and confident in taking your mother-in-law (from Algeria) and the entire family with very particular palettes for an occasion like a 60th birthday party (with children in tow). Impeccable service and clean plates all round. A delightful indie which is well worth a try.
b. s.
nice food good price lovely staff friendly clean service thank you
K. M.
Amazing food with excellent quality, great subtle decoration (in love with the olive tree) and honestly feel blessed for discovering this place!
A. A.
Excellent food. Great service. Delicious is an understatement.

Baity, situated in the heart of Didsbury Village, offers a sensational experience of food and culture. Its’ interior welcomes guests with a beautiful integration of modern aesthetics and traditional Palestinian décor. This is best appreciated whilst dining on tables nearer to the counter, where low hanging lights emit a sense of warmth and intimacy. Here, I have often admired the interesting and rich amalgamation of wall décor – presenting guests with both traditional and contemporary Palestinian culture. The food is exquisite and offers a depth of flavour that is truly unparalleled within the rest of Didsbury village. The ingredients also appear authentic to Palestinian cuisine: spices, nuts and masterfully cooked meats. Finding this restaurant is like finding a diamond amongst gems. Although the restaurant opens its' doors to a wide verity of customers and staff from all backgrounds, it’s ethos is still informed by the beautiful Islamic faith(I know this by talking to the owner and staff). So you can always expect your food and service to be accomplished with diligence, respect and kindness. It’s no wonder why this restaurant is almost always fully booked. Book in advance and enjoy the sensational experience that is Baity!
M. K.
The food is just brilliant. Its actually TASTY! Flavours and tastes you've never come across before.
I think the owner had underestimated how good it actually is as staff are swept of their feet, so bare with them! Emily, our waitress was very very good indeed, even though they were mega busy no request was too troublesome for her.
J. C.
My wife and I came for a date night here and: wow. The food is incredibly varied and tasty. We spent ages chatting with the humble and friendly owner who clearly has a real passion for sharing Palestinian food. We had 8 items from the menu and all were brilliant. Such a shame we live in London and can't keep coming back! The atmosphere and experience were a delight too. Thanks!
T. O.
I have visited Baity several times with friends and family over the years. Every single time the food has simply been excellent, the staff wonderful, and the ambiance perfect. It is, quite simply, a must visit.
R. Q.
Amazing Palestinian restaurant , super delicious food, super nice staff and owner , I really recommend it .

Lovely, got a table for 2 early Friday evening off the buck. Tasty steak slice and rice

Excellent starters, mains and dessert. Very good service and seating.
Keep it up guys!

Had a great meal here. Been wanting to go for ages and it didn't disappoint. There aren't many restaurants around here that specialise in Middle Eastern food, so it was a nice change. Vegan options as well. And the staff were friendly. Would recommend booking in advance, as it seems to be a popular place.
E. A.
Great food and service...all round amazing culinary experience
H. F.
The staff are lovely and the Maqluba Lamb is one of the best I have had. I love the dishes here, I have had almost all the starters and would recommend them hands down as one of the best places to eat in Didsbury.
H. Z.
Beautiful premises, vibrant atmosphere, glorious food, welcoming staff. Must try in Manchester
H. G.
Awesome, authentic Palestinian food. Lovely atmosphere with attentive staff. Highlight was the mint tea with the kunafa cheesecake!
Don’t give reviews much but this place is special!

Attended tonight 15/6/2021. Loved the food, bought Jericho lamb chops and the food was 10/10.
Customer service with a smile. Really appreciated the service. Can’t wait to go back next week.
J. W.
Popped in here yesterday for lunch as I was visiting a friend across the road, not knowing what to expect. I saw the great reviews and the welcoming nature of the front of the restaurant so decided to give it a try. Absolutely one of the best Middle Eastern food I have had in a very long time.
Clean, friendly and quaint, if ever in the area again I would be sure to have another meal.
Highly recommended for any time of the day.
V. W.
The staff are friendly. The food was great. Not too many dishes on the menu which is a good thing in my opinion. A few things done well are better than a big menu not cooked freshly. I can recommend the cheesecake for desert. Note that there is no alcohol here which actually helps keep the bill down.
D. S.
Ordered takeaway from here for the first time the other night and was really impressed. The food was fresh and very tasty. I recommend the Batata Harra, Hummus and Halloumi fries. For a main course the Maqluba Lamb was full of flavour. It's 20% off collection via their website and it also looks a really cosy place to eat in.
H.
Great food and service. Would definitely recommend!
S. L.
Had a great experience ordering from here! The man with whom I placed my order over the phone was very friendly and helpful. They offered 20% off for delivery which was great! The food came about 10 minutes before the estimated delivery time and was delicious, and the portions were all large. Would definitely recommend!
j. u.
Wow! Absolutely loved everything about this place, food was soo fresh and delicious, refreshing to taste such a lovely cuisine. can’t believe we’ve only just discovered this gem. The bistro style restaurant has minimalistic deco which creates a nice ambience. Customer service was excellent too, friendly staff and owner was so hands on and even helped out with helping us settle our crying baby so we could enjoy our meal. We will defo be visiting here more often!
M. F.
Amazing food and great atmosphere!
I. A.
Amazing service. Our table was booked for 5.30pm. We got there 5-10mins early. We were greated and seated within minutes. By 5.45, our starters arrived. 10 minutes later, our mains came. We were done within 45mins! Food tasted delicious and the staff provided excellent service.
C.
Came here for the first time this evening after really fancying it for ages! Oh it was amazing, the food was delicious 😋! The service was quick and felt personal too. We will definitely be back and will recommend you to our friends! Thank you!
A. A.
Food was on point can't fault it. Very good service and loved the decor. Would definitely recommend this place to go.
B. O.
Been here a number of times and the service and quality is always really excellent. They clearly care very much about their business, and are also very involved in the local community. Will be returning
A. K.
Very nice place, food quality was excellent and being from a Palestinian background, the food was very authentic it reminded me of my family food. The place is relatively small but the seating area is comfortable enough that you don’t feel cluster-phobic. The staff were very pleasant and friendly.
S. M.
A "hidden" gem. Food and service is excellent.
D. G. G.
Perfect setting for dinner on a cold and rainy Saturday evening, the place is tastefully decorated and the warm lighting makes it inviting.
The staff is very kind and attentive, and can make good recommendations in case you are unsure about anything in the menu. We order our food and didn't have to wait long until we had it on the table.
We ordered Batata Harra to share and a Maqluba dish each one of us. Maqluba came with very well cooked and tender lamb, and with a yogurt dip to mix with the rice and veg.
In addition, dinner was good value for money. Definitely expected it to be more expensive due to the location. No doubt I will come back whenever I fancy Palestinian food.
F. R.
We went as a group 8, it was my first time at this place and it didnt disappoint! The food was on point, the chicken was cooked perfectly with a unique taste accompanied with the rice. My favourite dish was the Batata Harra and if you like a bit of a kick of spice in your food, you will love this dish. Highly recommended.
D. A.
Alhamdullillah! Great food and friendly staff.
S. B.
Great food, nice relaxed environment. Food quality highly appreciated. This restaurant is a rare and refreshing halal find in a locality where dressed up junky and over saturated foods are the norm. Would love to visit again to sample other dishes.
N. A.
It was my wife's birthday and I really wanted to make it special for her during lockdown. I ordered the jericho slow roasted lamb shoulder from Baity, which had been slow cooked.
The lamb was delicious and was falling off the bone, served on flavoursome rice...one of the best lamb dishes we've had! Thank you Baity for making the birthday special!
You have to try this dish out!
A. D.
Great tasting food and fabulous service! Restaurant has been refurbished since I last went and it looks even better too 👌🏾
A. G.
Absolutely fantastic food. The chicken and lamb dishes are incredible, and my vegetarian wife swears by the non-meat options. The staff are lovely and so child-friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
B. Y. M.
Best palestinian restaurant I've been to, had the maqlouba over a month ago and can't stop thinking about it! Definitely coming back here soon, atmosphere feels homely and the staff are absolutely fantastic.
C. J.
Came with three friends on a Wednesday evening. Friendly service, complimentary water to the table without asking. Got the maklouba, lamb and chicken. Both excellent but highly recommend the lamb. Soft succulent and tasty. Home made hummous was lovely too. It is a bit pricey but don’t think I’ve had food as fresh and homely as when eating out. Tasted just like when I was in Jerusalem! Well done guys and good luck
S.
Really nice small Palestinian restaurant, with pleasant staff, good choice of fish, meat and vegetarian mains and starters. I had very tasty sumac veggies and aubergine paste as starters, then Maqluba with lamb (upturned flavoured rice with almonds), the meat was very soft, served with a small side of dish of lightly minty yoghurt with pieces of cucumber, finished with mint tea. Desserts like baklawa and others are available (but I had no space after that meal!), Arab coffee, as well as fruit juices. All very tasty. Pricey compared to what you pay on the Curry Mile, but it's Didsbury, you pay for the area too!
(November 2020 lockdown #2 due to Covid19 will mean they'll have to switch to take away only from Thursday 5th Nov, for a month)
G. P.
Great food, well priced, tasted lovely.
Lovely staff and nice decor.
Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, would happily recommend and go again
G. S.
Nice small restaurant with good food, if a little expensive! Eat out to Help out is operating here.
M. A.
The name can't be more true. Baity is Arabic name for my home. Food truly feels as if you've been invited to somebody home. Amazing musakhan and great staff. Met the owner and he's so friendly, genuine and polite
R. J.
Loved the ambience...good food ...great flavour and warm service too
G. H.
The falafel, sea bream and lamb maqluba were a must-try. Make sure to finish with some tea. A proper hidden gem in Didsbury.
L. F.
Uniquely Palestinian. Make sure to reserve as it cna get busy especially on weekends.
The restaurant serves authentic Palestinian food and is probably one of the few in Manchester. Portions are healthy and food tastes good.
The decor is trendy but successfully manages to subtly bring its Palestinian heritage.
Recommend the maqlooba and hummus and meat starter.
F. D.
Have had a fair few takeaways from Baity during lockdown and absolutely love it. Better if you get a mix of dishes and share them, rather than 1 main each. My top 3 vegetarian dishes to order are the Mujaddara, Musakhan Veg, and Mutabbal.
R. m.
Stand out place, fresh tasty middle eastern food served in a contemporary setting.
M. H.
Middle Eastern cuisine made to perfection
All the staff are so welcoming, friendly & warm hearted. One of our top ten Didsbury restaurants to go to regularly
Thank you again for another excellent meal

Had an amazing dinner with work colleagues. Highly recommend. The food and atmosphere was amazing. Will be back again
W. S.
Lovely little gem of a restaurant nestled in the center of East Didsbury. Fresh, tasty and fragrant food. I had the lamb koftas and they were delicious.
K. K.
First visit and loved the authentic Palastinian food. The lamb shoulder was particularly noteworthy but all the starters and mains were of a very high quality.
g. f.
Delicious! Everything was exquisite, food arrived very quickly and the service was on point. Everything seems very tidy and clean and we felt very safe.
We are def gonna come back!
F. A.
Really quaint place in the centre of didsbury with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and the service is great. We all really enjoyed everything we ordered and would definitely come back again. The kunafa was phenomenal!
J. A.
Fantastic little restaurant which I feel is a great addition to Didsburys eating out scene. The restaurant itself reminds me of the ones you would find on Burton road, rather than in Didsbury village, but it brings greater variety to this part of the village. In short, amazing service and excellent middle Eastern food. Very reasonably priced too. I am very much looking forward to going back in the future!
M. M.
Musakhan absolutely delicious, tender and flavoursome. If you like chicken you must try Baity! Absolutely stunning.
Ps great service too for collection during lockdown.
N. S.
Lovely restaurant with some wonderful authentic dishes. Really enjoyed our visit here and the service was excellent.

Beautiful food, even as takeaway. You could definitely just order the starters as a mezze, therefore, a must try even for vegetarians! And mostly came in paper (rather than plastic) which is always a plus!

Soon as you walk into this family run restaurant you can feel the homely atmosphere. Which compliments the food which is made fresh. With such great hospitality and food you cant go wrong.

I was anxiously waiting for Baity Didsbury to open its doors, and it surpassed my expectations...a little wait before the food arrived but that’s what is expected in literally the first few days & weeks of any new independent establishment, while they find their feet. The food was amazing, it was obvious everything was made fresh & on site. A highly recommended place & we will definitely be back very soon.

Had and Absolutely Great Vegan Dinner for takeaway from Baity with Lentils soup, tasty potatoes dish and nice diced salad! Thank you Boys and Girls! Keep up the fantastic cooking and serving!
S. Y.
Delicious authentic food. Relaxed atmosphere. Second time here and did not disappoint. Chicken Musakhan a must try! Service was excellent and its kid friendly.
A. H.
Amazing time, amazing food and amazing service. The owner, I think his name is Ali, more like a host than an owner. Really took care of us. My wife and I are big eaters and we ordered:
Starters - Hummus Bilahem, Fatoush Salad, Kibbeh, Batata Harra. All 10/10.
Main - Maqluba, Musakhan. Both 10/10.
Desert - Didn't have any, we were too full. But me and the wife are dropping by in the next couple of days to have some Knafah with a bit of tea. Thank you Baity for a great evening.

Had a pleasent evening of dining at this place. Food was very nice. Had a mixture of starters and mains. Was not very busy which suited me. Was a nice and relaxed atmosphere with pleasent and prompt service. A solid 4 stars!

Excellent vegetarian dishes, nice to have such an array of dishes and teas
P. P.
Delicious hummus and moutabel (aubergine dip). A small selection of tasty food. Not a big selection for vegetarians apart from the starters.
R. W.
Lovely food, staff, decor and atmosphere! Thank you, can’t wait to visit again!
L. T.
Great food. The menu is only a limited collection but the quality and freshness of the food compensate for that. Service is also great and very friendly.

(Translated) A restaurant serving delicious Palestinian dishes, I liked the nice and simple atmosphere. What made me happier was that the owner of the restaurant and the cook asked me and my friend about the quality of the place and the food. You deserve all the best, good luck 👌🏼
