I'm absolutely impressed with this place. There was so much flavours and spiciness in every dish. Most of the dishes are spicy which is absolutely fantastic, can't count how many times I had bland curry. But don't be afraid it's not burn your mouth spicy, it's all balanced very well and there is good selection of mild dishes too! This Bengali style street food stole my heart. Mrs A with her years of experience brought a new dimension to Indian cuisine, it's not your ordinary curry 😎 The curry is on a thinner side but that allows your to get the flavours better and the meat is literally falling apart. Chicken was so tender it was unreal 🙌 My favourite were the vegetables samosas made using authentic Samosas pastr,so hard to find these days Most surprising: Futchka made with beans, eggs spices and onions. We recently discovered Mrs A’s Kitchen a couple of months ago whilst walking past one evening and noticing the wonderful aromas. We both ordered a ‘Thali’ and chose from the selection of curries, small bites, naans and rice. The food is really fantastic. It’s fresh and delicious, and we’ve been hooked ever since. We live too far for delivery, but the food is that good that we’re happy to drive 20 minutes both ways to collect it!

Very tasty and spicy food.. Helpful staff.. Not your bog standard curry.. This is something different and highly recommend to try out.. Beef curry was amazing.. Chicken pakoras were to die for.. Went on opening night for eat-in so don't know if regular portions for takeout will be small or larger to resemble what you would expect for a takeout. These curries are proper tasty though with flavour explosions in every bite! Can't wait to try out again.. Thanks

Begali traditional street food not just curries the side snacks are also excellent. I love the aubergine fritters and vegetable Samosas hand made in a delicate pastry. My takeaway order consisted of a set of 4 tier Tiffin tins with various delights including one of Sea Bass one filled with boiled rice another filled with a Lamb dish and one with tandoori grills. The food was excellent and as good as anticipated my food was cooked within 30 mins and I had a drink and a snack box with chutney a mint yogurt and a side salad all for 2 people £40 and £10 was a deposit on the tiffin tins which is refundable on its return but I think I'll be having a refill its that good. The place accomodates for people to eat in and has only been open since july 2019 and business is doing well. The interior is very colouful and warm with friendly staff. Its nice to see within the streets of Eccles.

Move over Eccles Cake, Mrs A's Kitchen is the best thing in Eccles! A family owned business centered around the culinary genius of Mrs A who cooks up fresh Bengali curries using a vast array of spices to ensure each dish is unique and delicious. I went for a Thali which meant I got to try two curries with either rice or naan, and a side. I wanted something hot and was recommended the Lamb Jalfry which was absolutely fantastic, it was so rich and full of flavour that I couldn't get enough of it and I scraped the plate dry. Secondly I went for the chicken makhan as I fancied something cooler to balance out a hot curry,. The makhan was a beautiful buttery textured curry with welcoming flavours. For my side dish I enjoyed the chilli frittas which were awesome. My partner ate the vegetable curry of the day, apparently Mrs A herself is vegetarian and this curry reflected her passion for good food. We also shared some samosas and pakora which again, were delicious. Mrs A's kitchen are also available as takeaway now so I can't wait to get one delivered. Best takeaway South Asian food in Manchester I reckon! Actually tastes of something other than just spicy. You could eat in, I tried once, and was very disappointed. For one, no alcohol, at all, can't even byob. Also the service is very amateurish. So stick to takeaway and you can't do wrong.

Food is good but not great value for money. They’ve recently increased the price of their Thali to 14.99 on Uber eats. After delivery you’re talking nearly 20 quid for a curry in a container that is only ever half filled. I thought it was expensive before the price rise, now it’s just a rip off so won’t be ordering again.

Ordered a selection of meat curries and non meat. The meat ones looked and tasted beautiful, chicken was spot on. The veg ones were disappointing. Far too much onion in the aubergine dish and the other one had little flavour and had sliced carrots in. Neither had a sauce and they were quite dry, not like the meat dishes. I feel you could of chose a lot nicer veg. Would recommend the meat curries but definitely not the non meat.

Ordered takeaway for the first time last night. The food is absolutely amazing, so fresh and tasty. The attention to detail with both the food and the packaging was also so lovely! Ive genuinely never seen this attention to detail with any other takeaway. This is a small local business and I encourage everyone to give this little place a try, you won't be disappointed! The curries are changed daily you can tell a lot of love and thought goes into everything that they do. Thank you so much for the lovely food I wont be ordering curry from anywhere else from now on.

It's a kinda proper Bangladeshi food, specially Chittagonian flavour in it. I pray for the prosperity of this restaurant as they don't sell alcohol, don't play music and over all they have changing menu everyday and that means fresh food every meal. Really liked the beef curry with rice and daal. Alhamdulillah. Desi food after a long long time.

We have ordered takeaway from Mrs A's several times and it is consistently delicious. Every dish we have tried has been tasty and presented great, even on delivery. They have changing specials, all the food is fresh, the staff are friendly and the style of food is modern, with loads of variety and different ideas, like the amazing light bites. These are not just the same plain and stodgy options you see everywhere else. So lucky to have this nearby! Only thing I would change is more detailed descriptions of the curries on the website. I cross reference with social media but this would make it smoother. Otherwise, Mrs A's is A*!

My family love Mrs A's. We ordered a variety of dishes for 10 people to take out, the order was perfect. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it, everybody thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I would definitely recommend trying everything on the menu because we try everything and have never been disappointed. In my experience the staff are always happy and helpful too.

Been using them since they opened but was very disappointed last night. My take away curry bowl was barely half full. I emailed today to complain and they didn't even reply. Make sure you check your order before you leave. Have used them many times since my first review and the portion sizes have been great and the flavours fantastic. Highly recommended.

Incredible, authentic, fresh food which arrived promptly with very friendly staff. Actually quite 'light' and flavourful for curry so would happily have for lunch. It is modern self service place to some degree and the menu is perhaps too complicated for the place's own good, but was told this will change soon to simplify. I can't believe I haven't found this place sooner! My partner and I love Indian cuisine and Mrs A's Kitchen will be our new go to place! The choises of currys and sides are like no other. They have a great offer called the 'Thali' which allows you to select one or two currys and one or two sides with rice or nan bread. So its a great way to try different dishes out. The portions are very generous and the takeaway packaging is very thought through down to the branded tote bag it arrives in. We can't wait to order again!

Enjoyed a lovely thali here tonight, the staff were attentive and happy to show me the vegan options available. The venue was beautifully decorated, and the food was fresh and affordable. Also free on street parking is available behind the store in the evening. Will be going back. <3

The food is authentic Bengali and generally excellent. The take-away part of the business, however, is a let down. On Friday 10th Jan I ordered a meal for two. I was told that it would arrive in Monton 15 to 20 minutes later. It arrived one full hour later, after two reminders. The person who delivered clearly did not know the area. The food was tepid and the Biryani under par - very dry. Mrs' A's helpers clearly need to polish their act if they want to keep their customers.

Eccles may not be synonymous with amazing dining but if ever you visit that part of the greater Manchester area make your way to Mrs A's. The curries there are authentic, delicious and cooked with care and attention and are fabulous. Good for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Plenty of microbreweries around too if you want a drink after.

What a fantastic addition to the top of Church Street! Had four curries from here in the month since it opened and each one has been spot on. Heartily recommended. Free parking for half an hour on John William street just behind if you want to collect a takeaway.

The food was ok but there was no welcome, no menus at the tables (I had to take a photo of what was on offer and take it back to our table), our order was messed up, we got the food before the plates and the waitress was sloppily dressed,sloppy generally and very offhand when we asked about cutlery - which we had to retrieve ourselves. Family run Bengali kitchen that serves a wide variety of authentic home made food. The food is suitably spicy but not overly so, and allows the taste to shine through. There’s plenty of seating and it’s definitely somewhere you’ll want to sit in and enjoy the food. You’ll not find any alcohol served here, but as it’s situated at the top of Church Street in Eccles (an area that’s undergone a bit of a renaissance recently), you’ll find that there’s plenty of other places to catch a drink afterwards. The staff are friendly and welcoming and i’m looking forward to returning to taste more of the menu.

The food was certainly mid to higher end Asian fayre but the longer I was there, the more I noticed that put me off. The chairs at my table had food on, the table itself could have been cleaner, the door to the kitchen, the back wall of the kitchen. I, personally, found the sauces on my dishes watery but that may well be authentic Bangladeshi?
