Sri arranged the catering for a gathering of 100. The dhaal, chicken and vegetable biryani were delicious! She even threw in some raita, which was equally as appreciated. The food portions were generous and everyone was able to eat to their hearts content. I was able to select the level of spice, I chose medium. I am super grateful for the service and the quality of food was excellent. I would certainly order from here again! Shabina

We ordered food from Sayan Sri for some guests who wanted to taste authentic Sri Lankan food. The company did not disappoint. The food was fresh, very tasty and, certainly, authentic. The coconut sambol, mutton rolls and chicken curry were particularly outstanding. The cost was reasonable and the service excellent. It was a very enjoyable dinner and we will certainly order from them again.

Absolutely fantastic! Sayan Sri catered the food for my daughter's first birthday. Everyone commented that the food was really good and some of the guests had quite high standards! Everyone wanted food to take home with them. The service was brilliant. I found liasing with Say very easy and the prices were reasonable. It was also incredibly helpful that they could deliver to us. I would highly recommend them!

We hired Sayan Sri catering for our Hindu wedding and they did not disappoint! Fantastic variety of dishes and we had many compliments from guests about the authentic Sri Lankan taste. Sayan was great to work with, very responsive and happy to accommodate all of our requests. Our first meal with you and definitely won't be our last. What a fabulous menu you provided us with. We have never tried the food before so we requested a taster menu for a birthday celebration and it was AMAZING!!! The communication in the run up to our order was fantastic checking the number of people and allergies etc. it was ready to collect dead on time. Ordered catering for a company event - 20x samosas and 20x spring rolls each across 2 days. Everything went really smoothly. I first called up for initial inquiry and Sai was very accommodating to talk through the various dishes they serve and advised on dietary requirements as well. I then e-mailed our choices of dishes and they sent through an invoice straight away. Very efficient and professional. Communication was smooth, clear and informative, not to mentioned friendly too! My colleagues did the collection which went well. Overall, our colleagues are very happy with the food - they especially loved the freshly made spring rolls - it was so unique and delicious! The spice level was perfect too - which you can request to accommodate to your preference. Thank you Sai and the team for an amazing catering experience, looking forward to order from Sayan Sri again.

We ordered from Sayan Sri for my Mum's 70th birthday in April. I can't say how much we enjoyed the food... AMAZING! The service from start to finish (i.e. communications etc) were 1st class. They even made sure they had the order right, as only 5 people eating, but we ordered for about 10! This is due to the menu being so good, we wanted to try a bit of everything. My Mum is Sri Lankan, and she thoroughly enjoyed it - as we all did. I don't think there are enough Sri Lankan food places so its great to see one that is local and really top notch. We will be using again - HIGHLY recommended. Thanks again guys.

We used Sayan Catering for our wedding at a grade 1 venue (Wollaton Hall, Nottingham) - they are an AMAZING team. We came to Sayan catering one month before the wedding because the original catering company we picked had ripped us off and we did not feel comfortable with them doing our wedding. So we messaged Sai (from Sayan catering) with only ONE month notice they went OUT of their way to make this a phenomenal experience for us. Our venue had very specific rules as it was a grade 1 building, but Sai was extremely organised from the beginning, met with the venue, communicated constantly with the venue to ensure every requirement was met so they were satisfied. The food was soooo delicious, all of our guests loved it. The portions were generous, great vegeterian and vegan options. Everything tasted fresh, with varying spice levels for each dish, just like we requested! Sai and his team held a great food tasting with us before the wedding, took on board every single detail we said and gave us great advice on how we could keep things under our budget. Cannot recommend these guys enough. They are in constant communication with you, constantly updating you, constantly checking you are happy with any little changes and most importantly, listen to everything you say and ensure they provide everything you want. Their communication with the venue and ability to work well with them without stressing us out made a huge difference. Throughout the whole experience, Sai was very reassuring and his great organisational and communication skills meant that a lot of the stress from this whole process was removed from us. Best food, period. Couldn't believe one would taste such amazing food, that too in MK, UK! So for house warming event, had ordered south indian veg meal/thali - all of the items were top notch. Dry curd chilli and payasam reminded me of home. Guests loved it so much, they asked for contact! Would order it again in future. Thank you Sai for delivering with care and quality.

If looking to order here, please just do it! My favourite food is Sri Lanken and also chasing new restaurants, I have driven many miles just to try new places. Now this one is on my doorstep i wont be going anywhere else. Beautifully fresh and fabulous flavours. For me my favs are Chicken Curry, Mutton Rolls, Chicken 65, Paratha breads and the veg rice is so full of flavours too. I will be ordering from here for as long as they are open! If you are looking for authentic, homemade, delicious Sri Lankan food then Sayan is the place in Milton Keynes. Family run, cooked to your level of chilli (sometimes Sri Lankan food can be mega fiery!) and relatively healthy as quality ingredients and not too much oil is used. I ordered the crab curry, chicken biryani, and lamb kothu roti for mains and the family loved them all. Highly recommend you give them a go if you want a change to the standard Indian fare....

Sayan Sri were our caterers for our 1st wedding anniversary. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We cannot fault the service from start to finish. It’s amazing to deal with such lovely people. The food was amazing- we loved their twist on the classic srilankan rolls and their famous Paneer rolls were a huge hit with our family. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we are so grateful we ordered from them for our event. We highly recommend Sayan Sri Catering, you certainly won’t be disappointed!

This is the closest I could get to home (Sri Lankan) food! I’ve eaten quite a few dishes from here but the lamprais (rice parcel in a banana leaf), was too good! Really good service as well and made sure all requirements were met! We definitely were not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed the food!

The food from Sayan Sri is incredible. Since visiting Sri Lanka I have been desperate to eat the local food again and finally found it, and so close to home. The kothu roti is my favourite meal from Sri Lanka and it exceeded expectations from Sayan Sri. I will absolutely be back to try the rest of the menu!

The Mutton Rolls are to die for, crispy and spicy and full of flavour. The Kothu Roti and the meat was cooked to perfection - very tasty. The Chicken Noodles were full of chicken and vegetables and not just full of loads of noodles and had a lovely spicy kick to it. The Chilli Sauce was very hot, just as I like it and the Raita was like nothing I have tasted before, very creamy.

My new favourite South Indian Food Take Away, was a bit worried as they didn't had many reviews on here but took the risk and got to say it was the right choice 👍 the devil dishes were amazing and the Kotthu Rothi was delicious 🤤, since my first order also had a private mini catering order through them and me and my friends were really statisfied with the food. Highly recommend this place and thanks to Say for the quick responses in regards to the catering order!
