H. B.I cannot recommend Dotty highly enough!
I approached her about cooking a 3 course meal plus canapes for 6 as part of my 30th birthday celebrations. From the start I found her really responsive and loved the fact that she was so flexible and able to tailor everything so that we ended up with exactly what we wanted.
Dotty arrived on the day with everything she needed and it was so nice for us to have someone else cooking so that we could spend time with family instead. All of the food was fantastic, great flavours and lovely presentation. I particularly loved the honey panna cotta with cherries and sloe gin but it was all incredibly. It was restaurant quality but served in the comfort of our own home.
We really felt that Dotty read the evening well, popping in to check everything was okay with the food and making sure that we were all having a great time. We also really enjoyed getting to know her a bit and finding out about her journey to where she is now. She's obviously really passionate about food, the North East and using great suppliers which was lovely.
Overall we had a fantastic evening and wouldn't hesitate to use her cooking services again and have already recommended her to friends.
T. “. S.I hired Dotty for a private event at a Lodge that we had hired out. From the first message Dotty was professional and very responsive. Dotty suggested a style of menu for the event which was perfect. I was able to chose from a wide range of hand-selected options that Dotty picked out and I was spoilt for choice.
In the lead up to the event everything was communicated and I had no questions or concerns at all. Fast forward to the event and Dotty was able to make it such a special occasion. She prepared the table beautifully and was able to help with the drink accompaniment (something I had no idea about, which she explained eloquently!). The food was out of this world!
I could not have been more happy about my decision to hire Dotty for my special occasion, and I would recommend her to others in a heartbeat.
A. M.I cannot recommend Dotty enough!! We used Dotty for a private dining experience for my mum's 60th. She was fantastic from the beginning and throughout, where she communicated with us regularly, listened to our ideas and gave her professional expertise - creating a perfect personalised menu.
The whole experience was flawless; the food (Salmon Gravadlax, Ox Cheek and Panacotta) was out of this world and some of the best food I've had. The table was set beautifully and Dotty's friendly nature added to the lovely atmosphere.
We highly recommend using Dotty for private catering, you are guaranteed incredible food and service from beginning to end - thank you Dotty!
K. S.Dotty was an absolutely pleasure to work with in creating and delivering a delicious bespoke menu to spoil my family with when celebrating our parents Ruby wedding anniversary whilst on holiday in Northumberland.
I gave Dotty a very brief ‘brief’ and she knew exactly the food to bring to the table.
Service was wonderful and done with a smile. I still don’t know how she created such a wonderful meal using a kitchen she had never seen before.
Ingredients were fresh and locally sourced and I didn’t have to lift a finger all evening. Completely spoilt.
