Outstanding on all accounts After a glowing recommendation from our friends in Chester, we booked Luca's Events for our engagement party last year in August... something we certainly didn’t regret. Laur was fantastic to deal with, made everything extremely simple to arrange, especially as we had to navigate around the changing Covid restrictions. He is the type of person who always says "yes", and very quickly after speaking to him we knew we were in the best hands possible and he genuinely cared about us as people. We had an initial idea of the type of food we wanted, but after a quick chat with the team, it was obvious that we could let them guide us and we would be happy. We opted for a sharing starter board, their "best of British", a lamb main course and another sharing of homemade cheesecakes for dessert. We have already booked them again for a bigger garden party next summer - and we cannot wait. Asides from the food, the team were great to have around. Great with the guests, weren’t overbearing at all and all with good humour. Can assure you that you won’t be disappointed with any part of the Luca's Events interaction. The food was unreal, really unique, fantastic flavours and served on really nice dishes. Literally cannot fault a single course. Every single one of our guests were raving about their food.

OK, here we go. I'm a chef so hopefully this will count for somthing. Just attended a wedding for my son and daughter and wow. They are exceptionally professional, professional staff, caring, and attentive. The food was plentiful, extremely high quality and cooked to perfection. Nothing too much trouble. I'm only pleased they are based in South Wales and not near me. 🤣 but seriously, you won't find better...

Luca's did a great job. They were helpful and accommodating at every step, and Laur and the rest of the team were amazing, we could tell that they really cared about making it a great event. The food itself was delicious, and it seemed like everyone enjoyed it. They did a great job at catering to different dietary needs and preferences (Their vegan sticky toffee pudding was the best I've every had.) We had a three course dinner, and then pallea was served on the lawn later in the evening, which was a really fun addition to the party, and which I think the guests really appreciated.

At short notice Luca’s events catered for 50 people at my home. It was fantastic, in fact around 60 people eventually came and everyone had something to eat, plentiful. The food was excellent and the the presentation and attention to detail was 1st class, I wouldn’t hesitate using this company again. Don’t think I can give a better recommendation

Laur and Daniela provided the catering for my brothers wedding on Saturday 7th May in a small village just outside Oxford. The food was outstanding and they could not have been more helpful to cater to every dietary requirement and special request we had. The service from the team was excellent and they were all on hand to make sure everything was running smoothly throughout the day, and into the evening when they served up even more delicious food! I would highly recommend them to all!

Luca's Events did an outstanding job catering our wedding for 70 people. Laur, the owner, was highly organised and communicative as we planned our wedding, and he was clearly dedicated to ensuring that the food on our big day would be delivered perfectly. The food is incredible - easily my favourite wedding breakfast. Laur helped us to decide our menu choices and he was more than willing to be flexible when cooking for children and guests with food intolerances. The service team was also attentive and professional. Would recommend Luca's Event's for any wedding or large event.

Luca's Events provided the catering for our wedding in June 2022 and what can I saw but WOW! They were absolutely fantastic and I can't recommend them enough. Laur and his team (including the wonderful Dani) were excellent from initial contact through to event follow up - they were friendly, communicative, passionate about great food, generous (in both spirit and portion sizes), reassuring and overall super talented both in terms of food and service. Laur went above and beyond to ensure the food was exceptional - it was truly delicious, and even our most foodie friends were super impressed. Luca's Events totally transformed our event, and created an incredibly special and memorable evening which we will all treasure for years to come! Laur and his team were so thoughtful about every detail - from the menu to serving, and were an absolute joy to have in our home. From the time of enquiry to the booking and then the event it self the service received has been outstanding. Professional service with exquisite canapés followed by the most delicious stunning three course meal. I would give more than five starts if I could! I had a very last minute order for beyond their normal delivery order. Not only did they respond to my inquiry at 9pm, they made a beautiful and delicious delivery happen the very next day. The reviews on the food were glowing from everyone. A very tough critic when it comes to scones said they were some of the best they’d had. The presentation was beautiful and the food was a bright spot on a tough day. If you’re looking for an option in South Wales, look no further.
