S. A. B.Went to a party which was held in the function room. The party host had ordered several dishes including two types of rice basmati and another including nuts which I didn't try. The curry selection included chicken tikka pieces, lamb Rogan Josh a vegetable dish and a delicious dish called Everest chicken. The main restaurant is very eclectic with two large motorbikes as part of the decoration. I did like at the main door a display showing the ingredients so that allergens could be identified. Did visit the toilets and they certainly fit in with the decor theme as the ladies are bright red, but are clean. The staff were very polite friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The buffet lunch on Sunday appears very popular. Looking forward to going back to try the main menu.

Restaurant is nicely decorated and toilets are clean. I am recommending this restaurant as it is worthy to visit, well done to all employees and chef.

The food is excellent and it truly is an experience from the moment you walk in. Harley Davidson inside the restaurant is quite amazing. Chef/Owner Andeep had amazing hidden talents we had a great time and brilliant food!

When entering the Gurkha Kitchen they have done everything that they can to make sure it is Covid Safe! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone that is thinking of ordering food to try this venue out ! Andeep the head Chef is a hard working person and is very community minded ! I love the fact for a Christmas gift he offered an additional meal to all his orders. This was such a kind thing to do ! Again if you are wanting top quality food and top quality service then this is the place to go I highly recommend this.

After our very recent Sunday lunch I needed to review our Excellent experience, first off we felt very secure in this new "world order" that we live in, all the staff including the head chef was wearing face masks and gloves where appropriate, Andeep the head chef came over to explain the new Sunday process which was very well received, unfortunately the Sunday buffet was off due to new Covid-19 restrictions but was offering 20% off the food bill which works out a better deal for all, with this 20% off you can order from the menu instead of limiting yourself to only the buffet options.
Our food came to us very well presented, lovely and hot, smelling incredibly, our fussy daughter was straight in to her meal with no question asked and did not stop only for light refreshments, I had a dish from the "family recipes" and was not disappointed it was incredible, by the end every plate was clean and some very satisfied bellies.
The bill was a very good price for the food we ordered with no complaints.
The hospitality sector needs support throughout this crisis, we really want Gurkha' Kitchen to remain in the community for the great food, service and company they provide.
I wish the family and friends of Gurkha' Kitchen all the best and stay safe.

Lots of great tasting food which is fresh and constantly topped up. We had a birthday celebration here and 9 of us had the Sunday buffet meal. Excellent! Staff were attentive, helpful with suggestions and looked after us whilst we were there. Highly recommended and we'll be back as a family for the next birthday celebration. R. G.We went on a Sunday evening for a family meal and as there were 6 of us , we decided to chose the buffet. I usually don't like buffets but this was lovely, as it allowed everyone to chose what they wanted. The waiter explained to us how spicy each of the dishes were, so you could stay away from the spicy dishes if you weren't a fan. It was fairly quiet but I think it would be busier on a Friday etc. All the food was very authentic and cooked well, with loads of choice of meat and vegetable dishes. However, we felt a little bit rushed as it closed at 9 so I recommend getting there early on a Sunday. The decor inside the building isn't modern either but very traditional.

I have a difficult food allergy and they have helped to cater to it, showing that they are attentive and accommodating. The napolean cuisine is out of this world. Each dish has a wonderful and distinctive flavour. Everywhere you look it is pristine.

Good range of spiciness though, something for the timid and adventurous alike. I would advise balancing the creamier dishes with other type as they can get a bit heavy. Overall highly recommended.

A great selection of sweet, spicy and tangy dishes to choose from always hot and the Gurka Beer is a nice change from the big brands.
The only downside.....i will now have to start the gym as I’m here for the buffet every Sunday and always eat way too much! 😅.

S. S.I went there with 5 other friends for lunch. The food was delicious with varieties and best touch of Nepalese taste and spices. As we are also Nepalese and quite familiar with the taste, it was something deliciously satisfying. We also met the owner who was very friendly and did a bit tour around the place too.

N. T.I was here about a year ago - and what a difference one year can make!
I came on a Sunday on both occasions - when they lay on a buffet. This means I can try a variety of dishes without the hassle of ordering and re-ordering; and running up an expensive bill for food I barely taste.
Last time, buffet choices were limited, but prices were not too high: I recall paying around £8 per adult - and naan breads were free.
This time round the food choices were still limited, but the cost of a meal has rocketed to £12.95 before drinks! Naan breads now cost £1 each..
For half of that sort of money, I'd be much happier at Papa's grill, Khyber Pass or Naseebs, just to mention a few.

Don’t know where to start with. I went there with my son. The moment I entered the restaurant I was awed by the ambience of this Nepalese restaurant, staff was so welcoming, and environment very warm. I ordered Gurkha daal, Garlic chilly chicken and plain naan. It was delicious and daal was the best I have ever tasted. I made the best decision to go there, made my Saturday night .
Owner’s V8 chopper glittering near the door was the cherry on the cake.

Many of the dishes we ordered (Andeep's Special Lamb, Garlic Chili Chicken, Palungo, Dall) we've enjoyed before, but served on dishes at the table the quality of the food and the Chef's skill were even more apparent. Furthermore, the helpfulness and quiet efficiency of the staff added to the overall experience. We'll be back there soon and recommend it to anyone who's not been.
