Used the drop and go service for a 40th Birthday Party and the entire experience was excellent. Great customer service and wonderful food. Exceptional value for money - so much pulled pork per serving. So many people have asked for the catering details to be shared - a week on they are still talking about how good the food was!

Recently had the pleasure of experiencing Springbok BBQ and their service at an event I attended. Not being a fan of BBQ’s I was a little bit hesitant…. How wrong I was. The food was amazing, tasty and simply mouthwatering. Not to mention the staff: polite, honest and friendly!

We hired Springbok for our wedding. As it was a small wedding we ordered all the food we needed and had it delivered to the reception. Before the wedding Charles and the team were very helpful both via email and over the phone answering questions and offering professional advice. The food arrived on time which was great as it was a very time pressured day. The food was great and went down really well with us and our guests! (Especially those minted lamb chops they were fantastic!) the only thing I would recommend changing is buying pre cut burger buns as we had so many left over and that was the the main reason they didn’t get used, but There was plenty of food, it all arrived hot and was very very tasty! I would highly recommend you to anyone and fully intend to use you guys again!

We have had Springbok BBQ cater for us a few times now for our end of the year banquet for our Hermeneia Bible Training Centre. Each time they have handled our event professionally and timely. Beware of the T's & C's. We have used this place a few times for biltong which isn't cheap but pretty good. We were kindly offered a coupon to use their catering. After a bunch of messages back and forth about the menu choices, we asked if we had ordered enough, we were even advised to remove a starter and instead add cheaper kids sausages. We placed the order and paid deposit and only then we were told we hadn't met their minimum spend so the price would be increased to the minimum spend as well as a fee of £25 for the admin. Not offered to simply add more food. So we rather cancelled immediately and were charged £50 handling fee and the rest of the deposit was a credit. I get that its in the terms but we could have been advised when we clearly asked if we had ordered enough before paying. This min spend could also be mentioned anywere besides the small print. Clearly cannot recommend and will not be using again. Repeat business would have been worth more than a handling fee.

Event date: 7th August 2020 – Small Corporate BBQ We asked Springbok BBQ to do a small Corporate BBQ for us on our premises in the car park due to the current restrictions surrounding COVID19. The whole process from booking to clearing up was very efficient and smooth. We were recommended Springbok, I went online and found the on-line booking system very easy to use. we were able to book our requirements. Due to Covid and various restrictions in place I had to call and discuss our requirements with Charles, who was the most pleasant and helpful person you could wish for. On the day, he arrived a wood-fire BBQ outside in our car park and everything was cooked and prepared freshly as we requested. The services of Springbok enabled us to enjoy our event and we could not have asked for better service. The food ordered was delicious. All persons in attendance were in full praise and were able to enjoy the day in full. All clearing up at the end was also done. We would recommend Springbok BBQ’s and will certainly look to use them again in the future.

Food was great, but the starter was changed at the last minute without telling us in advance, we only found out when the food was served! Please READ the T&Cs as they do not include COVID circumstances, should the government do another restriction at short notice, you cannot change the date and lose most of your money.

Now Springbok puts on a good BBQ, that is true...however, their Biltong, well, their Biltong is just on a whole other level!!! Recently acquired a sample of their Whisky flavoured and Garlic/Lime flavoured biltong sticks from Springbok's Infusions range...just sensational! Even more spectacular is that their package arrived promptly and in good shape at my house...in Melbourne, Australia...well done guys!!!

Amazing service and even better food! I used Springbok BBQ to cater for my wedding recently and would use them again without hesitation. Their customer service was top notch and the food was so delicious that it's all my guests talk about. I was even more impressed by the hard work that was put in on the day. We had only one person working the BBQ but he managed it so well and was so friendly and went out of his way to make sure all the guests were well fed. Worth every penny!

Springboks recently catered our wedding and we cannot recommend them highly enough. In the lead up to our wedding they were incredibly communicative and helpful and on the day everything went without a hitch. Not only that, but the food they prepared was absolutely delicious; the meat was tender, the salads were fresh and there was plenty of everything. Everyone said how great it all was and we would definitely use them again in the future.

I received my Biltong through the post, it was well packaged and arrived in good condition. Both the Tabasco and the sublime lime and garlic are the best Biltong i have tasted.

Made catering a party for c.100 people very easy, thanks! Every detail was covered, hog roast, accompaniments and desserts to cutlery, plates, serving tables and gazebos. Food was all delicious too; the hog roast, wraps and bean salad especially got lots of praise. Only downside was that as the meat was pork shoulders rather than a whole pig there was no crackling. I'd definitely recommend Springbok BBQ.

Enjoyed this bbq at a friend's party last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Charles is just so high-energy, effusive and hard-working and his food was just amazing.
