I would go as far to say that this place is a masterpiece for dining. The environment oozes elegance, professionalism, and culture. The attention to detail was incredible; ranging from the drinks glasses to the food. There was elaborate decadence throughout the assortment of courses and cocktails. The food was out right incredible, and the staff were nothing less than splendid. The only areas I would allude improvement on, is for the lack of parking and unwelcomed incremental increase in background music volume as the night progressed. I will be absolutely returning here for another wonderful experience! Thank you.

We went here as a couple on a Friday night and this has got to be one of the most faultless fine dining experiences I’ve had in a while. All of the food was delicious and the cocktails were creative and tasted great. The drinks selection is very wide ranging with something for everyone. The octopus starter was a particular highlight. Make sure you order dessert from here as they were impeccable! The best bit was the level of service from the staff. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and were always on hand to answer questions or take additional orders for drinks etc. Keep up the great work and we will definitely be back soon!

This was our first time and we were blown away by the food and hospitality. I was so sad we finished our food! Genuinely could have sat there and eaten every dish on the menu, 20 times over. Their cocktails are really different, and really yummy (and beautiful). The food is just amazing - so many different flavours, so carefully prepared. So yummy. Try the rib eye and the octopus! The restaurant itself is super pretty, with great views. From the minute you walk in the door… cloakroom facilities…. Absolutely stunning food (and drink🍹 with lovely cocktails) immaculate service, wonderful atmosphere, impeccable 👌 focus on detail. I had seen amazing reviews but this was my first visit and I so regret not eating there before. The food, service and decor was incredible. It’s fine dining so expect to pay accordingly but highly recommend you book a table.

Menu hunting (as you do) on sunny random trip to southampton. Read menu and was very excited but as sunny and patio dining not yet open walked to other resteraunts to menu hunt. Came back 30m later. The welcome reception warm and friendly at this fine dining venue even though we were casually dressed. Service was that of any Michelin resteraunt I have dined in. Staff warm unobtrusive and quick to react, put another customer at ease when table accident sent bottles drinks smashing. The food was amazing. So many beautifully thought out dishes. Wine selection wonderful.We are going back just for the resteraunt. Highly recommend

Fabulous food. Fabulous staff! A great evening catching up with friends - definitely a ‘special treat/occasion’ venue for us as the spectacular food is met with a spectacular bill! However it was well worth it and We look forward to returning.

BEST IN TOWN If you ever come in Southampton try this restaurant and you’ll thank me after. What a find!! Came here when another dinner option didn't work out. Looked beautiful from the sidewalk and had a lovely terrace for a warm night. Best meal I ever had in Southampton. Service was outstandingly good, not just friendly but uber professional and experienced and absolutely what I want from a fine dining establishment. Staff knew the food, when to approach table, replaced dropped napkin, manager came round and checked in, food was served beautifully and well timed. The food was sublime, the duck was incredible, dishes were clearly freshly prepared and each had real attention to detail. Some really new flavours from their signatures range. It was an exotic escape. Finally there was the place... Location beautiful over looking marina, beautiful furniture, art, lighting, cutlery, menus...all really nice with attention to detail. Instantly felt I was on holiday somewhere luxurious. So well taken care of, such an experience, I am so glad this place is near us!!! Southampton needs more like this!! Will be back very soon. A beautifully contemporary restaurant specialising in Southeastern Asian cuisine. Every single dish was packed full of flavours complementing each other perfectly. An original list of cocktails served in imaginative ways. The service itself was phenomenal. Water was constantly topped up and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Cannot praise this restaurant enough. The food was amazingly tasty. Portions were not big but were more than enough to fill me up. The cocktail list may not be huge but they look tasty and amazing. I had the kimono dragon one and was delicious. The service was second to none. Our waiter was great, he took care of every mess we made and nothing was any trouble! We are planning our next visit soon.

The food was perfect and the cocktails were incredible. For me, the restaurant itself is not what I enjoy, it was very loud and open planned, I could not hear what the waiting staff were saying and the table was very small;we were at a small round table probably suitable for 2 people and there were 4 of us. However if the table was any bigger we wouldn't have been able to hear each other at all as I couldn't hear the person opposite as it was. If the restaurant had more of an intimate setting and wasn't as loud I would be planning to go back. I would give it a go again if I could get a table outside as I, imagine it would be a lot more relaxing.

An exceptional restaurant, if you don't have any food allergies. My wife is coeliac/gluten free and the menu is very random and very poor, they have a gluten free shortbread as dessert but are unable to cook a gf starter, so my wife has to bring in her own starter from m&s. Her steak was perfect but when asked if she could have some garlic butter too accompaniment it that was not possible. From a place which you are paying a high end price on a night which they were not overly busy this should have really been achievable. But as I say fantastic if you fit within their criteria but if not do not don't be surprised if you are not catered for. However the staff are excellent and the place is 1st class they just simply need to improve on catering for a wider range of people.

Beautiful food, great caring staff! Highly recommend! However, if you are going to order the sweet chicken like I did, you might find it too sweet.. Even for me as a biggest sweet chicken fan it was a bit too much. More like a dessert! Still tasty though.. The rest was super delicious, especially the duck salad! Beautiful view of the harbour! The food was lovely and portion sizes are quite small so it makes it nice that you can comfortably have 2 courses over lunch. Excellent, Excellent, excellent restaurant. The service firstly was incredible, we didn't have to ask for a single thing, but the food! This restaurant suits both the seasoned veterans of Asian cuisine and those curious to dip their tow in. Multiple recipes used ingredients sourced in Hampshire and clearly they have an extremely experienced head chef. Prepare to be surprised by ingredients you thought you knew and you'll not be disappointed. The popcorn black cod and pork belly with white chocolate get my recommendation, but literally anything on the menu sound stunning!

I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive at first as my taste buds are not, shall we say, 'very refined'. However the experience from start to finish, the attentive waiting staff, the welcome we received upon arrival, the fact that nothing was too much trouble, the beautiful setting and the food - wow the food - was simply stunning. Blue Jasmine has now been elevated to my most favourite restaurant and I have eaten in some of the finest London restaurants which are not a patch on Blue Jasmine. Excellent, everything spot on. The signature dishes are over the top and meet all expectations. The rest of the menu is good but not as many surprises as the signature dishes. Minor comment for the music selection, the genre didn't match the enviroment and was loud ( I had to shout to have a conversation). Also, the chopsticks were too heavy so I used the knife and fork. Generally, amazing food and service.

Friendly staff, gorgeous food, both a feast for the eyes and also for the tum-tums. Highly recommend anyone to visit. Beautiful food, we had 3 starters, 1 duck pancakes to share and 2 mains. Every dish was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The sommelier Libarata was very friendly and knowledgeable and recommended a lovely red wine which we really enjoyed and also recommended a bottle of sparkling Sake to which we'd never tried before but both loved! The whole experience was top class and definitely worth the money! 100% recommended this place to anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine.

They were recently featured in the Top 10% of the World's Best Restaurants and today at lunch we confirmed why. I cannot stress enough on the need for good customer service these days and the lack of it in several places in Hospitality. However today the attentive staff at Blue Jasmine reinstated my faith in the possibility of thorough service, respect, etiquette and patience without compromising on food quality. You don't feel rushed nor neglected despite having all hands on deck in the times of covid. No compromise on the quality of food either. The least to say the taste was fabulous, innovative menu, top presentation with the best set of dining ware (cutlery etc; yes I notice the finer details). Even the toilets were well kept!! Well done to the entire team for looking at every little detail to offer an overall incredible experience to the patrons. Highly recommend to anyone celebrating something special :)
