We have used Chef Gary many times and have now had Gary, Sam and Mike. This time Sam cooked for us and he was excellent. He did an amazing meal and left the place looking immaculate. He even put up with some interesting questions from our children who were watching him cook! Would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a great home chef experience.

From the very first contact with Chef Gary I knew we were in good hands. His communication throughout the whole process was excellent. We had Chef Mike on the actual night of our bespoke 5 course meal and the food was absolutely amazing. All 14 diners including 2 youngsters enjoyed every course. The service ladies who assisted Mike on the night also deserve a huge thank you for their professional yet engaging demeanour. A fabulous experience and I would definitely recommend this service to all.

Before attending a dinner party hosted by a Chef Gary chef I'd never thought of doing such an evening. Wow, have I been missing out! Both of our evenings (two different chefs) were amazing. The quality of food shone through and the taste of each dish was perfect. One that springs to mind is the pork belly with lobster tail starter - so good! The chef's host brilliantly while you relax at the table. The evening is timed well giving you a good time to chat in between courses. Unbelievably, once the chef has fed you all they clear up and leave you to your merry ways! I would definitely recommend booking this for a special evening that you'll remember. I'm trying to find an excuse to host one!

Chef Gary was brilliant. We booked him for my birthday celebrations with family and we had 11 guests (3 children). Everything went so smoothly and was so well organised. The food was absolutely delicious (with all the food allergies catered for as well). The family are still talking about what a good meal it was. Chef Gary, Chef Sam and team did a great job at our dinner party last month. A completely seamless experience and we felt very well-looked after! Chef Mike was booked to cater for my 50th Birthday dinner & I can't recommend him highly enough. We absolutely loved every single course & the fact that there was no clearing up at the end was an added bonus! My daughter is dairy-free but this was no issue as he adapted the menu so that she could eat the same dishes & in fact we couldn't tell any difference in the taste. Such a relaxed, fun evening &n worth every penny!!

Fantastic dinner party to celebrate a special birthday. Food was excellent and the sticky toffee pudding rated as the “best ever” by one guest. Everything about the service provided was top notch - right from the first communication through to the food itself and the cleaning up afterwards! Chef Gary recently catered for a group of eight of us over a whole weekend and I can't recommend him and his team highly enough. The food was exceptional, as was the service and all the comms in the run-up to the event. Before the event, Gary listened really considerately to what we wanted from the weekend and then had loads of amazing ideas. And every time we had questions or wanted to check some details, he was really responsive. The meals across the weekend were really varied - from Italian feast, to fabulous brunch, to canapes and fine dining, to a family roast dinner - and they were all delicious! Gary and his colleagues were completely lovely to have around us while we celebrated over the weekend, being on hand and helping with all sorts of things that went above and beyond, but giving us space when we needed it too - a perfect balance of attentive but unobtrusive service, coupled with amazing food - what more could you ask?!

We’ve experienced ChefGary a few times through friends but this was the first time I’ve booked them for my own gathering and they did not disappoint. They arrived promptly at 5 and quickly got to work on preparing some delicious canapés and our mind blowing 3 course meal. All of the guests spoke incredibly highly of the food - the only negative was that everyone wanted double the amount so they could enjoy it all over again! Not only did they prepare a wonderful meal, but they left the kitchen arguably cleaner than they found it, and also served drinks throughout the evening. Chef Mike and Nicky helped to make my dad’s 60th birthday a truly wonderful occasion and I can’t thank them enough or recommend them highly enough! Gary’s communication throughout was great, and he put up with me changing my mind about our menu a number of times. I can’t wait to book them again!

From the minute chef Patrick and assistant Marco arrived we knew we were in very good hands. They totally took over allowing us to chat and drink with our guests without having to worry about anything until very flavoursome canapes arrived. After that our 3 course meal (our party of 10 had chosen between 2 different choices as not everyone wanted the same options) arrived and everything was excellent. Patrick and Marco were very pleasant, highly professional, and best of all washed and cleared up everything. Would definitely recommend.

We booked ChefGary after finding the company online for Christmas Day, they served around 14 guests for lunch at our family home. Cannot fault any of it, we had 2 chefs and a waiter turn up in advance and on time fully prepared and ready to go, no fuss or stress and really lovely people who we happily welcomed into our home. Very professional company, amazing food & most definitely the best Christmas dinner we have ever had! Everyone loved the food, Gary also has a really great eye and skill to the menu and although we specified some items that we wanted Gary adjusted it with his expertise on cooking to make it amazing! Happily will use Chef Gary again for all celebrations/events in the future. They bring own plates, cooking utensils so left us with no mess at all, and even left us a cheese board on departure for the final course which was an added touch! Booking process really easy as well and trustworthy company. 10 stars if we could rate this! Thanks Chef Gary and your team! :)

The organisation on the day was excellent. The dishes were exceptional in flavour and presentation and used superb ingredients. ChefGary cooked a 3 course gourmet dinner party meal (plus canapés) for my 40th birthday with friends at my house - with a vegan twist just for my meal. The food and service was incredible. Probably the only good thing about the current lockdown is discovering ChefGary. You exceeded all my expectations - and they were pretty high to start with! The food was not only absolutely delicious but so beautifully presented and as good as any of the top restaurants that we have visited and there was so much of it! All our guests have been saying how incredible it all tasted and looked. I also have to mention all the waiting staff. They were all so delightful, so lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they all had big smiles on their faces the whole weekend - which you don't always see these days in some restaurants!
