We used Avo Catering for our wedding in July and cannot thank them enough! Our guests are still raving about the food weeks later! If you are looking for something a bit different and not your bog standard roast then these guys are definitely the right choice - its great quality, local produce and really well presented, especially the Canapes! They were also really good at tailoring the menu and providing alternatives for the veggies etc. A huge thanks to Danny and Mark. Sally & Becca

We hired Avo to cater our wedding and the food was incredible! Fresh, local and responsibly sourced ingredients, simple but exceptionally delicious flavours and plenty of it! The communication was excellent and they were so accommodating to our requests and special dietary requirements, including a severe nut allergy and a coeliac. We had so many comments from our guests about how good the food was. They also provided sausage rolls and brownies for the evening which went down a storm - their brownies in particular are phenomenal!!! Huge thank you to Danny and the team for all their hard work!

I don't normally leave reviews, but Avo really deserve a good one! They catered my son's wedding in a marquee in a field. The food was plentiful, delicious and of a really high standard. The staff serving were wonderfully friendly, pleasant and efficient. The communication throughout was great, and organisation of the extra items needed to provide the food was excellent. I would certainly recommend them to anyone; we had so many positive comments from our guest.

AVO did the catering for our wedding in Cornwall this June and we cannot fault the food or the service. Danny and Mark were amazing to work with (a particular highlight was our food tasting at their beautiful little spot overlooking a valley) and all the food was genuinely delicious, from the canapes through to the sausage rolls at the end of the evening. Avo catered for our wedding and they were fantastic! We had canapés and a three course meal and everything was delicious. We were very against the standard dull wedding food and with these guys it was very easy to get exactly the opposite! What total stars! I couldn’t have asked for better caterers for our wedding. Not only we’re they really amenable (I wanted Pasties in a cave!!!) but the food was delicious too. Everyone commented on how nice it was and there was plenty of it as well. It was all so scrumptious it’s hard to pick anything that stands out above the rest, but…the coleslaw, it’s a good job I don’t live around the corner as that would make up 99% of my food intake!!!! I also love the ethos of the company.. biodegradable and fresh. Really couldn’t recommend it enough! Thank you!!!

AVO Catering supplied the catering for a high profile launch event I was organising for a business client. The event was attended by HRH The Duke of Kent and many other dignitaries so it was vital that everything was spot on. The team were brilliant throughout. They were responsive and helpful in the planning stages and on the day, they were fantastic. The staff took everything in their stride and the food was fabulous. Danny and Mark from AVO catered our wedding in August 2021 and we couldn't have been happier with them. Right from the start we found them easy to deal with and very eager to understand what we were hoping for and took on all our comments and thoughts to design a menu for us. We're both keen foodies and Danny, whilst offering his own expertise, was very flexible and we felt very comfortable and confident in what they were going to deliver. We were keen to have local ingredients including beers and a cheese selection and Danny was very knowledgeable and prepared with great suggestions throughout the planning process. We had tried a local cheese and this was sourced with no problem and added to the selection at our request. We had a last minute panic with a family member who neglected to inform us that they had a serious nut allergy but this was dealt with easily and without complaint. Owing to covid we were unsure on numbers until right before the wedding but at no point were we pressured by the team which went a long way to helping with stress levels! Our venue was outside and brand new to the team with a few logistical challenges but you wouldn't have known it! On the day they were in complete control, very professional and meant we had zero stress coming from that area. They were ready on time for every part of the day which was a huge bonus in making sure the day ran smoothly. Any question or request I had throughout the day was met with a can do and easy going attitude. The staff they hired were professional and incredibly friendly and very well managed by Danny and Mark. All parts of the service were very smooth and efficient. Lastly and most importantly the food was absolutely amazing. Our families both have high standards being very good cooks but we got more compliments on the food than anything else at the wedding. Everything was perfectly prepared, ingredients were of a high quality and all of the extra details/ garnishes/ accompaniments were interesting and elevated the already excellent food. Portion sizes were generous without being off putting and certainly no one went hungry, vegetarians/vegans were as impressed as anyone else. Everything was smartly and artistically presented and really added to the aesthetic of the day. Not a single complaint apart from being said there weren't more left overs for us to take away!

I worked with AVO Catering Co for an International Symposium about circular economy that I organised. AVO was our catering provider in the event. The quality of food was excellent and the food was really tasty. The presentation of food was creative and also eco-friendly. All the materials used for packaging and the cutlery were organic - some guests took the plates away as leaving because they just loved it. Personally, I loved the sandwich menu. The sandwiches reminded me my mum's sandwiches: prepared with care, love and filled with genuine ingredients. It was a great pleasure to work with AVO. Thank you.

Danny & Mark are, in a nutshell, absolute diamonds. The food on our wedding day blew literally everyone away... a tall order, serving it basically in a field with storms imminent - but wow. Canapés were stunning & served hot from the kitchen; all the waiting/bar staff they arranged were incredibly courteous, professional and efficient... every single course was outstanding. I truly mean that, and I am a greedy London person who adores food. The only tragic moment was not having any leftover mains - even the pork bap evening food was proper chefy and on point. So much so that me microwaving one 3 days later sent us into raptures of carbohydrate delight and a singular tear that that was officially the end of the wedding food. Could not have asked for more. Our heroes.

Everything about this company was brilliant! They suggested meals for adults and kids, with accompaniments and desserts which made it all very easy for us. We didn't want service as it was a casual party in our garden so they delivered the meal with plates, cutlery etc and then collected everything to our convenience, so no washing up. The food was delicious and portions were generous. Can't fault them!

Avo Catering are superb! Very easy to deal with and the food supplied was just delicious! It came in recyclable cardboard trays which were good enough to display the food in, which made it even simpler for us. All our guests raved about the food. We will certainly use them again!
