Adam catered for our wedding in September 2022 and he was absolutely fantastic. Because of Covid, we hadn’t met Adam or even tried his food before the wedding day, but we thought his ethos and laid back attitude would be a great match for us. Also he was so highly recommended by seemingly everyone we spoke to. The food was incredible - he really worked to include some of the things we particularly wanted in the menu, and it was almost a meat free menu, with the majority being vegan. Every aspect of the food was amazing, including a fully laden grazing table in the afternoon, and we had so many comments from friends saying how great everything was. Would absolutely recommend him without reservation, it was amazingly easy to plan everything with him, and he more than delivered on the day! I definitely plan to catch him at some events next summer to eat more of his food!

I stopped by on my Harley yesterday without pre-ordering (silly mistake) BUT I was still serviced with delicious slow cooked beef cheeks, ribs and coated ships. Despite my lack of forethought the owner could not have been more friendly and helpful and the meal was delicious. He suggested I take my meal to the brewery next door and wash it down with a pint which I did, sitting in the sunshine and generally enjoying life. I'd recommend pre-ordering to be sure of getting a meal as the overall quality of food is outstanding and they can sell out of non-pre-ordered food.

The Aussie Smoker catered our wedding on 21st May and we are so delighted that we chose Adam. He went out of his way to make sure every culinary element was carefully considered and the perfect compliment to our day, we had loads of veggie and vegan guests and they were so well catered for. Working with Adam during the two year planning period has been an absolute pleasure; from designing the menu, trying our first Aussie Smoker delights to the midnight pasties on the big day, he's made sure we've kept smiling all the way through. A week after the wedding and our guests are still raving about the food. 11/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Adam and his squad catered our wedding this weekend. The food was absolutely fabulous everything we wanted. There was not a single person who didn’t like something. AT ALL. And I know some really fussy glutards, vegetarians and people with “other” intolerances - even these die hard whingebags loved it all. This grub isn’t about 5 courses and silver service - It’s about stunning flavour and culinary simplicity. They do that perfectly! 11/10

He was so helpful in working with me to decide the catering details and also threw in a few surprises! I cannot recommend him enough and his event catering is excellent value. As a big BBQ fan, I love to make my way down to anywhere local that advertises themselves as anything to do with smoking. Adam has got his bbq meats locked down in in terms of flavour... anything I've tried has been sublime. his prices are reasonable, the food is amazing and the welcome you get is second to none. I'd suggest trying his BBQ sauce range, as well as his Rub... its honestly the best I've tried in a long while and I use it in everything. if you like BBQ food with a bit of a twist, pay him and the rest of his team a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Anyone who is hoping to book food for an event, seriously consider Adam! We booked the Aussie Smoker in early 2020 for our wedding in June 21 but due to covid we had to postpone to October 21 and Adam couldn’t have been more accommodating. Considering how busy he is, he was more than happy to help us and we arranged our new date with no issues whatsoever. He communicated with us whenever we needed and the value for money was outstanding. On the day, the food and service was absolutely amazing!! The staff were fantastic, Adam couldn’t have been more accommodating to what we wanted which was a very relaxed, chilled atmosphere and he nailed it. Thank you Adam! You made our day so special 🤍

This man is a genius. His bbq’d delights are out of this world, he’s a lovely bloke and to top it all off the Outback (BBQ HQ) is in a beautiful part of the world. And if you thought that was all, he also makes a load of banging condiments, but n particular his chilli jam that I ran out of recently during a late night (and slightly drunken) cheese on toast session. Never a sadder day! Seriously, come to cornwall, book yourselves in to the Outback, and have a fab time!

Adam was the caterer on the Thera-sea weekend retreat I attended. The food was spectacular (I'm vegan and never once felt like I was missing out) and Adam has a really nice calm and friendly presence. My wife booked Adam for a Ruby Wedding celebration in a holiday home last year and asked me to post the following (it took me less than a year!). Just Brilliant! Adam's communication was superb throughout. He arrived calm, efficient and incredibly friendly - so the whole event was relaxed. The food was just fab & relished by everyone. Visited The Aussie Smoker at his pulled pork pop up at Dynamite Valley Brewing Co. I'm so glad I made the trip, it was absolutely delicious. The pulled pork in a bun was brilliant, succulent and melt in the mouth soft. The smoked flavour and seasoning was beautifully executed. I also had the no bacon beans, brilliant flavour for a no meat recipe, my wife's actually asked me to try replicate them (I'll try and probably fail badly 😂) Highly recommend giving it a go, if I lived in the area I would definitely be coming back regularly and consider booking for future events.

Every time me and the boys go here we are always welcomed with open arms and looked after, the place is a vibe and everyone is always smiling! The best food in Truro hands down, everyone is so friendly too! 10/10 always!

We organised a casual lunch party the day after our wedding for around 175 guests. Adam got it spot on with his pork buns. The food was amazing and everybody loved it. We only approached Adam a few weeks before the wedding and he managed to translate our needs in a perfect offer. His food is good and his staff is friendly (he supplied some extra staff for behind the bar too.) Highly recommend him.

Adam's sign off on emails is keep smilin and that is exactly what he did! He was absolutely fantastic when we booked him to join us on our VT shoot in Dartmoor. It was pouring with rain and horrifically windy but Adam never stopped smiling and it cheered up the whole crew. He was extremely accommodating when we made last minute changes and his positive attitude was infectious. We relocated and finally got to taste his delicious pulled pork and what no bacon beans, the whole crew loved them and even went back for seconds! Wow, wow, WOW! PEOPLE LISTEN UP! This stuff is amazing! The moment the chilli jam passed my lips I felt I’d landed in food heaven and knew I was in for something special. I had a little chilli jam with the super delicious vintage cheddar whilst waiting for my pulled pork to heat up. I wish I’d ordered more - of everything - for gifts, to serve at casual or formal dinners with friends and family and to have an endless supply for myself. … oh and Adam himself is a very fine true blue Aussie bloke. I have been lucky enough to attend a variety of didn’t events from The Aussie Smoker. Wether it has been the small, intimate and personal event to the formal dinner for a rugby end of season do, the quality of food remains a high standard. The passion for cooking and creating the foods is there for all to see along with the friendly and welcoming personality. Personal favourites are the pastrami and the pulled pork. Have had several of adam products. From his smoked ribs over lockdown #1, to his wet and dry rubs, and his smoked cheeses. However my favourite of the lot has got to be the chilli jam! Its insanely good. A really good heat with a really good sweetness.. had to stop myself eating the whole jar! No joke! This is someone whos products and service is a must! The rub really works if combined generously with yoghurt and the meat left in the fridge overnight to marinate. Once you’ve baked It, depending what it is, slather ( my choice) it in the BBQ sauce and stuff your fat face. Fabulous!
