Fantastic experience with Sri L. Several of our guests commented on the catering being 'the best wedding food they have ever tasted' - this being no exaggeration. Sonali was very pleasant to deal with and they were flexible (with our changing requests) and complex timings. We went for a number of different items on the menu (starters, main course and dessert) all of which went down very well. Jaggery/ Nutella hoppers are a must! You can tell Sylvia and team are driven in delivering the highest possible quality food and they didn't disappoint. Delicious Sri Lankan food delivered in an extremely reliable fashion. We were very happy with our choice of caterer for our wedding!

Incredibly delicious, authentic Sri Lankan food from a lovely family. They catered our wedding and did a fantastic job. Really friendly and accommodating and put on an incredible spread which wowed our guests (some of whom were initially a bit dubious about having curry at a wedding, but ended up pleasantly surprised). The jackfruit curry is very meaty and delicious and the milk rice went down a treat. The vadai’s and green beans brought back happy memories of my childhood and the aubergine was a new favourite dish that I hadn’t tried before. Everything was cooked perfectly and I can’t recommend them enough for any kind of event. I look forward to dining at their restaurant, Colombo Kitchen in the future and am already trying to think of excuse to hire them for another event. Thank you so much foe helping to make our day extraordinary!

We used Sri L Catering for a drinks and canapés party and would highly recommend them. We had a selection of patties, samosas and fish cutlets - all delicious plus we had ordered a chicken and veg Kotthu as bowl food, which I would highly recommend. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was and we were more than happy with everything that we ordered. Very professional and reliable. Would definitely use them again. Many thanks!

Sri L catered our wedding at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London (June 2019), and were absolutely amazing. We had a sit down rice and curry meal, with dishes served to the tables, and the food was incredible. Every guest talked about how good it was and every dish was chosen by at least one person as their favourite, a sure sign that everything was tasty. What was most impressive was that we had guests ranging from Sri Lankans who are real rice and curry enthusiasts to people from South America who had never had it before, and all of them loved the food. It exceeded our wildest expectations. Sri L also set up the room and decorations, and everything looked perfect, exactly as we had imagined it. They handled the drinks reception and canapes, and were excellent. The staff were well-presented and very friendly, everything went off with perfect efficiency. We couldn't have been more pleased. I would absolutely recommend them - the food they served is by a substantial distance the best I have ever had in a large function, and this opinion was shared (unprompted) by many of our guests. They were an enormous hit.

We had my daughter's 4th birthday party at home. We had party for friends and their parents in the morning and evening family party. All food was done by Sri L Catering and all was done very well and well presented. Delicious food. All my guest enjoyed the food. They delivered twice on the same day to ensure food stayed warm and was all fresh. I would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely amazing service and food. Small gathering catered for with perfectly authentically cooked sri lankan food, starters of spring rolls and prawns were delicious. Main course was perfectly hand cooked ..string hoppers and sambal best I have ever tasted, every guest enjoyed the food, very proud to be sri lankan with this choice. Thank you especially to head chef Sylvia who was a pleasure to deal with.

What can I say?! We held a Charity Event and asked Sri L Catering to provide our meal, and what a meal it was! We chose a Chicken curry, vegetarian Paneer dish, two types of rice and poppadoms. It was absolutely delicious, and everyone kept telling us how amazing it was. Even the local club members popped their heads round and told us how delicious it smelt. The serving staff were nothing short of professional, and even when it was really busy, still kept their happy smiling faces going and couldn't do enough for us. Thank You Sri L Catering for your beautiful food, attention to detail, and contributing to the success of our night. We can't wait to hold another event to ask you to cook for us again. We'd HIGHLY recommend you to anyone

Sylvia and her lovely team catered for our outdoor wedding. We wanted a ‘Market Feel’ to the food and they did a fabulous job serving traditional Sri Lankan cuisine all cooked fresh to order. Thank you Sri L Catering! They came and catered and did the drinks service for our wedding in Chelmsford at the Reid Rooms. From initially making contact to planning things it was very easy. They had never been to the venue before but they are so capable and know exactly what they're doing. Friendly staff too. Guests all loved the food! Can't wait to visit the restaurant. :) x
