As an event planner myself, I am used to working with a variety of other fantastic small businesses and suppliers to create memorable events and celebrations for others. On this occasion however, it was a private celebration for my family and friends over the Easter weekend in North Yorkshire. There was a lot of pressure for me to deliver a fabulous weekend for all, including sourcing some really tasty food. Laura was amazing from our first conversation at the beginning of the year, listening to our requirements, dietary request, location set up and timings. Nothing was a problem. On the day, Jack from El Kantina arrived on time at the venue with their cool trailer and created a real buzz for all the guests during set up. Emily did a fantastic job of looking after us all night long, ensuring we were all happy and full. I have to say the food was unbelievable, so tasty and fresh. If you are having a celebration, I would not hesitate to recommend El Kantina for their great service and delicous food. Thank you so much for ensuring we had such a fabulous time! We wanted something a bit different for our wedding, and as we love Mexican food, el kantina seemed to be the perfect choice for our wedding food and we were not disappointed! Our guests loved it, as did we, and El Kantina been such an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We wanted some laid back, fun and delicious food and that’s exactly what they brought ! We got so many lovely comments about the food and the friendly service. > Also an extra thank you for portioning up our wedding cake for us (which was not coping in the heat) another 20 mins in the heat and I think it would of ended up on the floor so these guys kindly got it sorted for us. > > We honestly had the best of days and we’re still smiling. We chose El Kantina for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect. Originally we picked them during lock down and after the restrictions had lifted we were invited to a tasting session and knew we had made the right decision! From making this decision to our wedding day Laura had been in close contact, answering all of my questions and so accommodating! Move forward 1 and half years and it was our wedding day. On the day we could not have asked for any more, everything was set up wonderfully. The service was smooth with great choice of food. Guests saying the food was "inpecable", "delicious", "the burrito was filled to the brim and the flavour was unbelievable" - what more could we ask for! I would 100%, whole heartedly recommend El Kantina!

El Kantina catered our wedding back in April 2022. From start to finish they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Laura was really informative, provided quick responses and nothing was too much effort for her and her team. The team even came all the way from York to Anglesey to cater for us! Our guests LOVED the food so much so, they were upset to google and find they don't own a restaurant! It was great that we could even provide a similar banquet to our guest with food allergies. Literally they just went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you so much. You helped provide us with a day we will never forget!

Laura and her team catered for our wedding two Saturdays ago and I have to say they were superb. The timing was perfect and the food was lovely. The guests are still telling me how much they enjoyed it to this day. They also mentioned this to Laura. We had the main meal, superb canopies, and lovely burritos for later on provided by Laura’s lovely team, who ran things like an army unit. They even knew which of my close friends was vegan. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice!! Hats, or should I say sombreros off El Kanrina!!

El Kantina catered for our wedding in July 2021. From the initial contact with Laura and her team to the service on the day itself, we really cannot fault anything. We had a 3 course meal and canapés and have had so many compliments about the food at all points from our guests - everyone really liked how different it was! Laura is so friendly and made the planning process very easy and relaxed (during a generally pretty stressful wedding planning process due to Covid!) whilst being a true professional. We loved working with El Kantina and cannot recommend them enough! Thank you!

El Kantina catered for our Wedding in July 2021, providing canapés and a 3 course wedding breakfast. Both the service and the food was amazing. Our guests loved it. Laura was wonderful in the planning process, offering a private tasting and providing recommendations based on her experience. All dietary requirements were catered for including, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and a number of special requests. The serving team were excellent on the day and very professional. Couldn't recommend El Kantina enough! Thank you for providing delicous food on our special day. It was the perfect touch for our relaxed farm wedding.

El Kantina catered our fairly large wedding relatively soon after restrictions lifted and this was no easy task. We had been in communication with Laura since 2018 when the wedding was first booked and during lock down were able to try some of their delicious offerings. Laura was always so helpful on the run up to the wedding and on the day, working with us as a couple to get exactly what we wanted such as a relaxed service and bamboo plates and cutlery to not have loads of plastic waste. The food was delicious right from the canapés to the dessert (the churros is incredible!) and Laura and the team worked so hard on the day - always smiling and polite. Laura also pointed us in the direction of the pizza-part of the company for evening food and that was also very-well received! Everyone said how tasty it was. This food leaves you wishing you could get hold of the recipe book as you always want more…. It’s just a shame you’re usually so full you can’t eat another bite! Thank you Laura and team🌟🌈

El Kantina recently catered for our wedding reception and they were absolutely amazing. So many of our guests complimented the food, which was delicious and really well made. Laura and the team were extremely helpful and supportive with planning beforehand, helping us to make menu choices, at a very fair price per guest, along with a super efficient service on the day. El Kantina also provided us with a member of staff to support for the whole event and not just the food service, who was again super efficient, very friendly and helpful. They all definitely helped make our wedding a fantastic event and I would recommend them very strongly indeed! I only regret not getting time to eat more on the day!

We used El Kantina's beautiful venue for our sons 1st birthday bash, and what fantastic day we had! Despite the weather not being fantastic, Laura and the team went above and beyond to make the day comfortable and enjoyable for everyone! I highly recommend! They are extremely accommodating and are happy to help you create whatever it is you're after. We didnt have the food this time, but they have catered for us before and it's been faultless! A really creative take on Mexican cuisine. Fantastic hosts, Fantastic aesthetics, Fantastic venue!!

Had the pleasure of availing of el kantinas services to cater our wedding on Friday 16th July 2021. Everything on the run up was dealt with professionally and to a 5 star level. Full communication up until the big day. Then on the day, not only did they hold back some canapés for me and my wife, they were accommodating in moving the time for dinner due to some delays while we got our wedding pictures done. Would 100% recommend for any event and if we have another large event, they'll be the ones we call first.
