I would definitely recommend Gadgetsfix. They immediately diagnosed what was wrong with my laptop (battery and speakers needed replacing), and then did the work in the time frame they originally indicated, and at exactly the price they originally quoted. Barry and the team sorted out my wife's Samsung after another shop had replaced the battery but goofed the screen then denied any responsibility. Nice... Gadget Fix thoroughly checked the phone to ensure that it was just the screen before sourcing a new one and getting the phone up and running. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that I couldn't get the online work progress checker to work, but you could always call and with them being in the town centre, it was no hassle to nip in.

I gave my laptop in for repair and found the company were informative and professional over the pandemic. The hard drive was replaced and the data was recovered. I have since brought my brothers iPhone in and the fixed the screen and the battery. Both jobs were quickly completed at reasonable prices which compare to other stores gadgets fix were outstanding. I trusted them with 2 repairs and they get top marks. While I was there waiting for the iPhone I found other customers were also delighted with their repairs. I had to wait an hour and noticed it was really busy. I am used to going to other stores and found going to gadgets fix I felt at ease as other places were small and dingy compared to other venues. Gadgets fix gave me receipts on both occasions with the details of my repairs which were duplicated on a sticker on both my repairs. I would recomend this company to other people

By far the best repair shop, customer service was 10/10 and a really fast repair. I dropped my iPhone XS Max and it kept rebooting every 2-3 minutes and was very laggy. it also had a non genuine battery message. I took it to apple who said they can't fix it and that i'd have to pay £560 for a replacement. I'm so glad I happened to walk into gadget fix on my way home, they sorted my problem in ONE DAY!! and for a fraction of the price!! I was worried about losing all my pictures and data and having to spend a fortune on another phone, but gadgets fix got my phone back to perfect condition. Never trusted repair shops but was so pleasantly surprised when I visited Gadgets Fix. The staff was very help full and knowledgeable. I needed my laptop fixing and they finished same day. I travel the world on business and meet professionals every day and I consider the people at Gadgets fix to be the best. My Lenovo was not working and had a major presentation to make to my clients. I took my iPhone 8 in today as I had smashed the front screen and back pretty badly. The staff were very friendly and assured me they could fix my phone. I had to wait a few hours longer than expected for it to be fixed, however the phone looked good as new when I received it later in the day. 4/5

My laptop had gone off due to tea being spilled on it. After taking the usual precautions (i.e. removing the battery), I went to Gadgets Fix very shortly after this event and they managed to restore my laptop to the same working order as before the spill. The laptop needed to be dried inside and no parts were required. In truth, it wasn't an economical service, even with the 10% student 'discount'. While the manager was quite friendly and approachable, I probably could have received a similar service at a much lower price elsewhere. However, the time constraints of a water-lodged laptop meant that I had to act fast. If you're time-limited then it can't be helped, but if you are able to, I would advise to try and obtain quotes from different shops. The onus is on me obviously, and not Gadgets Fix, but it's still good to know, especially if you're a student/aren't fond of spending money unnecessarily.

My wife took her phone in here to get the broken screen fixed.After being given a price of £60 to repair it, we took it into the shop where he looked at it for a few minutes and peeled off the broken SCREEN PROTECTOR. He could have taken it and said he replaced the screen but he didn't. No charge. Fantastic service. Nice bloke as well.

First time I went in, the service wasn't great but I was t particularly bothered, they fixed my phone quickly (quite expensively I might add) and I was happy. I returned about two weeks later as the touch screen was now playing up - this had been fine before - and credit where credits due, they fixed it without too much bother. I dropped my phone again (on carpet!) and it smashed again, so I've gone somewhere else this time as I know accidental damage isn't covered and I don't want another poor quality screen.

My Surface Pro 4 laptop had just broken down and with the coronavirus situation there was no way I was going to keep on top of my work. I was concerned about losing the latest copy of my files. Top quality service from the moment we entered the shop. My daughter's Apple lap top had just stopped working after 9 years with all her university work onboard - (Apple shop said 'time you bought a new one' but hinted her old one could be mended but not by them - as it was considered obsolete). Curry's directed us to Gadgets.... and the rest is history. Not only did they fix it within 24 hours but the price was reasonable, considering we were directed to purchase a new one by Apple. Barry, the owner of GF told us exactly what he was going to do and explained everything in detail, giving me and my daughter 'peace of mind'. Whilst we were in the shop we witnessed others coming in with broken and smashed iPhones, only to be walking out 15/20 minutes later with happy faces as their telephones were yet again fixed and working at a reasonable price. Usually I really like GadgetsFix, but I brought my laptop in to get an SSD formatted and am not happy with the service after paying £100 and still having to spend hours correcting issues I later found once at home. On top of having to reset my hard drive from a time machine backup (which is to be expected), I found screws put back incorrectly, a couple missing, and my HDD spacer (which holds the SSD in place also missing. I'm glad of the work done, but my service this time was a shoddy

Finally found the right site to review! Very helpful and managed to reinstall Google Playstore which I had lost by doing a factory reset on my old HTC Flyer tablet. I had assumed since I hadn't added this app that it would be hard-wired (or whatever) into the tablet. Apparently it needed to be reflashed. HTC no longer supports this machine which makes it all difficult. Would definitely use Gadgets Fix again.
