Came here to get a iPhone 10s Max screen repaired.. and the whole appointment and booking in session was absolutely spot on they had the screen replaced serviced the ports and connectors serviced... I wanted the ear piece changed but they gave me honest advice and said it may not need it replacing based on what I told then.. I also got a proper screen protector heat sealed.. and even got honest warranty... highly recommend these guys.

I was referred to iSmash by a local mobile phone shop who informed me there was dirt and fluff in the charger socket. I had been told earlier at a mobile repair shop local to my home, that the contacts in the charging point were bent, and it would cost me £30 and take 2 hours to repair. Silvanna at iSmash said there were no such contacts, and she could clean it out for me. Well I was delighted. Job done in 5 minute! She was amazing so helpful and professional. I shall definitely visit again, I feel I can trust them and won't have a big bill at the end! Well done Silvanna

Had a phone with water damage that lead to a broken mic. It needed a part ordered in and I was given an estimate of 2 weeks for it to arrive but it arrived after a week or so. I handed the phone in for repair and was told that due to the water damage it would require some additional work. This didn't end up going entirely to plan due to the amount of corrosion however I did get my phone back in better condition than I handed it in and I didn't pay a penny in the end. Although I didn't pay it, the price quoted for the part & repairs seemed reasonable. The only negative about the process was the initial appointment slot I was given of 21:00 on Sunday when the part came in. The store isn't even open then so I don't know what was going on there.

Really knowledgeable and friendly staff. Super professional at all times. I needed a new battery for s10+, which they ordered in for me, and were honest about delivery time. Once I took the phone in to be fitted, they quoted 1hr but had it finished in 30mins. Would definitely recommend them to everyone. I was recommended ismash by my phone broker, as I wasn't near their offices (london) for them to do the work. They suggested either Samsung shop (who would have been pricey) or ismash, so I took my phone to ismash in Manchester Arndale City Centre. I'd not used ismash before but luckily I'd walked past them loads, and the bright logo meant that when they were suggested, I immediately knew I was close to a store.

Wanted to replace my phone's battery. The store didn't have it and I had to order it online but not through the store's website. I had to make the order via email to customers service and pay through a link that was sent to me. It would have been much easier if I had ordered it when I visited the store but when I had asked I was advised to do it online as it would have been easier(in retrospect I think they meant for them). When the battery arrived although I was asked to book an appointment at the store there was no link on the email and the store's site did not allow me to do this. Going to the store (not very polite customer service) it took them 20 min to check if my phone was working ( speakers, mic etc) and I was also asked to give them my password so that they could recheck after they replaced the battery. Apparently this was not something they could do in my presence. So why 3 stars I stead of one? Simply because my phone is working fine. I will have to see if the battery continues to work as well as it does now in the following months or if the battery they sold to me was used.

Had poor dealings with Google via live chat so went to this store and the whole process was seemless. My phone now has a brand new battery with a 12 month warranty and it wasn't expensive at all. They even fixed the usb charging port for no extra charge. I couldn't stay around in manchester to wait for the repair to be finished so they even posted it to me once it was done so that I didn't have to wait until the next weekend to pick it up. Amazing. Excellent repair shop. Would definitely recommend them and use them again if I ever had to.

Booked in for a charging dock repair as any phone chargers would not stay in place. The worker there quickly diagnosed and rectified the issue within 2 minutes! Turned out to be a lot of dust stuck in the corners of the port. After a quick clean and blast of air and being billed £10, my phone was back to normal! Saved me £50 as I did not have to get the charging port replaced for £60!

Only advice to others would be to phone and confirm the length of the job, 1 hour is advertised but some phones like mine take longer, 2.5 hours because of the phone but I want aware until after I arrived having booked the appointment on line.

Went here to get a screen replacement for my iPhone 7 Plus. Booking an appointment was no issue at all. The woman at the front desk was a bit rude. She seemed like she couldn’t be bothered with me at all. She told me how long it will take. It said on the website it would take 45 minutes but it took 1 hour and 30 minutes. This might be because there is only one person actually fixing the phones. I came back about 2 hours later and instead of the same woman it was the man who actually fixes the phones. I gave him the leaflet/receipt I was given when I handed the phone over and he gave someone else’s phone at first. I told him and he then returned my phone to me. He then charged me £110 when it should have been £90 because I booked on online. I only realised when I looked at the receipt on the tram so I got on a tram back to Manchester and got a refund. He did apologise in the end. As for the phone, he did do a good job replacing the screen however if I don’t use my phone for about 15 minutes and then use it, the right side of the screen doesn’t work at all. However, after I have used it for about 5 minutes the right side of the screen does start to work again. Overall, the customer service isn’t great and the actual phone repair is faulty. I would say it’s not worth your time and money and I would try and get your phone fixed elsewhere.

Service is quick and efficient but at no point does it say or are you informed that replacement iPhone screens don't have the 3D touch and are not of OEM standard. As a result service doesn't seem as value for money or transparent. Good for getting your phone repaired but you will loose some of your phone functionality

Really great service from the staff here (esp. Ben)! So helpful, ordered a new screen in for me because I have a rare-ish model, this took even less than the 2 week expected delivery time too. Encountered some problems after the screen was sorted and had a really quick response with them fixing this so my phone is as good as new. Well worth the price for the convenience and speed of service!!

Staff all helpful but pressured. I had to go back to discover that they needed to replace the damaged back plate as well, but the repair was then done in an hour. The first replacement screen did have some manufacturing faults - some areas of the screen simply did not work - but when I returned with it, they studied the problem carefully, replaced the faulty screen within an hour and then checked the specific problems I'd had before notifying me that it was ready. I would certainly go there again, the work seems well done.

Impeccable customer service. I visited iSmash in Manchester Arndale on Wednesday 1st May, to solve a problem with my headphone jack popping out of its socket on my Motorola Moto G5. They gave me fair warning in advance on the telephone that they did not stock Motorola parts, but still agreed to have a look at it anyway. They removed the blockage in the headphone socket very quickly and restored my phone fully, and even refused my offer of payment because it was a small job to them, which was very generous. I would happily recommend iSmash to others.

I visited Manchester from the US to visit family and my phone got severe water damage to my iPhone 7. Unfortunately, I didn't have a complete backup before this happened. The team at iSmash were SO incredibly helpful and attentive. It took less than 24hs for them to back my phone up for me and they called the second it was ready for pickup. It was about 20 pounds for the fix and about 4 for extra iCloud storage. Fingers crossed I won't have to visit again, but if I have any trouble I know just where to go :)

After spending 1.5 being messed around by a Samsung "Experience Centre" and still not leaving with a repaired screen or even a promise of a repaired screen, I came across ISmash. The service was on another level compared to Samsung. The chap I dealt with was efficient and he offered me a number of options. In the time it took Samsung to mess me around I had a repaired screen courtesy of ISmash. Just to be clear, it took ISmash just 1.5 hours from my first contact with them in the shop to collecting my repaired phone. The cost was £10 more than the Samsung shop, but I actually got my phone repaired instead of being ignored, then let down. Great service. I hope I don't need to repair my phone again, but I know where to go if I do.

I broke the camera on my Samsung S7 and I wanted it fixed asap. I shopped arround and most of the shops quoted me for £100 minimum. I went to ismash and they quoted me £50, and they fixed it within 45 mins the same day. I also brought a few phone accessories from them too, top quality for a great price. Samsung repair shop wont repair my smashed screen because their rules are idiotic - region locked phones, well their loss they just lost a customer forever, however no issues with iSmash, went in was given 3 hours fixing/ lead time. Had a coffee, roamed in Arndale and picked it up...authentic screen or at least it looks the same ;) jks comes with lifetime warranty also doesn't effect the water proofing so well pleased. Best bang for your buck when your phone manufacturer abandons you x'D plus peace of mind as they are professionals. Great staff too!! Lets hope I don't smash my screen again. If something like that does happen will definitely go back to these guys! Stress free repair :D
