I needed my phone unlocked and after various phone calls to different local businesses, Podz responded to my request very quickly and was by far best value for money. To put in perspective, a company quoted me £25 for a service that Podz completed for £12.99. Podz was easy to communicate with and he made the entire process very uncomplicated and kept me updated with what was happening. I would recommend Podz for anyone looking for a reliable, good value and friendly service.

The guy who owns the shop is a nice chap, he seems very friendly and honest. He replaced my screen on my Iphone 5s at a reasonable price. I had a problem with my camera after the screen change, so I contacted him and he told me to come in the next day so he could fix it at no extra charge. I've no complaints, my phone is as good as new. If my phone broke again, I would go back here.

I couldn't have asked for a better service. Here at Layer 3 Advanced Business Solutions we use Podz for repairs of our Apple technology and the service is excellent. I required it to be fixed in the space of an hour, as my iPhone 4 lock and home button had broken, there were no worries and this was sorted to an excellent standard in less time than I had asked for. I was told by geek squad it would be £260 to repair my phone, and another repair company said £105 and they'd need to send it away for 5-7 working days. But Podz was by far the cheapest and friendliest! The young owner was so genuine, helpful and funny! He gave me another phone and a sim card adapter, so I wasn't phoneless during my 2 day wait. I would seriously recommend going here for any phone issues, you won't leave without a fixed phone or at least a smile (if for whatever reason he couldn't help you).

Podz is possibly the best place I have ever been to. My phone was dropped in the toilet. The sales man was so lovely, and SO positive he was able to fix my phone. My phone after having pools of water inside it was fixed and parts replaced. All of this only took 5 hours and cost £150. I have never been so a place so accommodating and so helpful, for those that break their phones that contain their life, Podz is the place you have to go! I cannot recommend it enough!

I ended up getting nail polish remover (acetone) on my phone by accident and I was extremely worried about what would happen to it. Luckily for me, Podz managed to replace the relevant parts and my phone looks just like it used to. They are all very friendly and the service was fantastic! Originally visited a carphone warehouse to get my Samsung A5 repaired and the employee recommended I visit Podz; primarily because A5 parts aren't commonplace and because Podz usually provide a same day turnaround. Fidel, the business owner of Podz, is an absolute saviour. I urgently needed my work phone repaired. I arrived at the store at 2.30pm and it was packed, to the point of people queueing out the door. Was not expecting to get an awkward phone repaired within 2 and half hours. An hour and a half later, I got my work phone back as if nothing had ever happened to it. Fidel went as far to make sure that when I arrived back he had everything to put me at peace of mind. A receipt, the packaging of the genuine Samsung service pack. When speaking to the supplier, without asking, he requested all the available parts in stock that could be used to repair the phone, be it genuine samsung or oter high quality supplier parts. Then provided me a list of all my options, I went with service pack which was cheaper than some other shops Id been quoted by. This guy doesnt show up to do a job, he actually lives this. Professional and prompt. Again, thaks Fidel you really saved me on this one.

Fantastic service! I went to Podz after having my iPhone destroyed by 'Dr Mobile' on Alfreton Road, when i needed a screen replacement . Not only did i get ridiculously bad customer service at Dr Mobile but the guy there scrapped my prox sensor to death; kept dropping parts on the floor before putting them back in; and then to top it all, took out my genuine iphone parts replacing them with faulty cheap imitations. I went in to Dr Mobile with a cracked screen and came out with a phone that had no signal or internet connection, no front camera or sensor function and no working torch light - and all it cost me was £35. I then took my phone to Podz where it was immediately obvious the guy (sorry i've forgot your name mate!) knew what he was talking about (in contrast to Dr Mobile who had me explain to him what a proximity sensor was...). Podz quickly got my phone receiving signal and wifi again, and tried several different parts to get my sensor and camera working again. Unfortunately for me my phone was too messed up be fixed, but the friendly guy at Podz went out of his way to keep trying to fix the different problems. I could go on forever about the dodgy operation they've got running at Dr Mobile (don't be fooled by the cheaper prices and have your phone parts stolen!), but equally i can't say enough nice things about Podz - Fantastic friendly service, very genuine and has obvious expertise. Thanks again mate!
