We were advised that the battery was actually fine and that they could perform a diagnostic to see what the issue was. We agreed to this and we found out that the power was failing and a part needed to be replaced. We agreed to this and the laptop was fixed and new battery returned to us. I've used OneTech to replace a smashed phone screen and also to replace the hard drive of an ailing laptop. Both done promptly including free diagnosis of problem with the laptop. For those confused about the address, the shop is in Hatch End but there is a service point in Northwood, which is super useful if you live in Northwood and they're very flexible about drop off times outside of normal working hours. It is a house but totally legitimate. They do only accept cash but I've found them to be honest and helpful and they provide guarantees and after care. I didn't know the first time but they were happy to hand over the repaired phone and let me come back and pay another time. I would recommend without reservation.

I needed two laptops repaired, the Dell needed a new power jack. Kamran completed the job to a high standard. It also came with a 12 month warranty which is great. The other laptop, a Mac needed a lot of diagnosis to find the fault, sadly it would have costed around £300 as it needed a new motherboard however he didn't charge under the no fix no fee agreement. Well worth a visit and he is very accommodating and its great to support a local business in Northwood!
