D. M.Had just arrived in England with a second phone and a UK sim card. Huge flight delays, etc. and had been up for 36 hours and couldn't get it to work. They were a huge help in getting the phone unlocked (I had forgotten to do so) and get it up and running. Incredibly friendly and funny and wouldn't charge me for their assistance. I even offered to buy them all a pint when they closed! Next time I'm in York and need a new phone - it will be this shop! Cheers guys!

A.I personally want to thank the members of staff in this store for not selling me a phone today. I lost my phone last night and was fully prepared to buy a new one which they did not allow as they were adamant that it could be recovered. The phone is recovered, i am not but i truly cannot express how thankful i am for them. Having previously worked at o2, the level of support was outstanding comparatively. I wish i could give a 6th star but as that is not an option, i will simply recommend this store to anyone based on customer service alone. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so so much. E. O.My mum's phone had packed up, so we set out to get a new one. She didn't want anything fancy, and after being roundly ignored in another nearby phone-shop, we happened across the O2 shop. Unlike the previous shop, the O2 shop was run in a Covid-secure way, and the staff were very helpful, got my mum a great handset for waaaay less than we had thought possible and a great contract. We did not feel pushed to spend more, it was just helpful advice and great service. Much appreciated!

R. K.O2 your CRT team was rubbish after 3 attempts to solve a continuous issue lasting over a week with some awful and basic advice after being escalated twice and making the issue worse.
Thank goodness for your O2 staff at this store Corey and Maya were excellent on my 5th and 6th attempt to sort out what in the end was a simple "sim swap" there patience with me and your CRT team was amazing. After going through all the basic tests again swapping sims telling the ever-growing tale of network issues and failed solutions for the 5th time that week, Maya using what I can only describe as her future "do as your told" voice, demanded he just do a sim swap.....2mins later phone all sorted no issues.
Thanks Maya and Corey and also to the O2 team Simon, Matty, Judy oh and Corey's older twin brother and lady with the blonde curls 😉 sorry I only managed to catch most of your names this week 😜

M. R.I have stayed with O2 for 12 years now and had numerous phone contracts with them. This store is one of the few reasons why. The service was always impeccable, staff is incredibly friendly and they always work to find the right thing for you rather then steering you into the latest thing.

R.I went in this morning to speak to someone about a WiFi issue I was having, the guy (not sure of his name but he was ginger and early 20s) fiddled with my phone to see if there was an issue and gave one solution which he was unsure would fix the issue but it actually did and I'm so grateful for that as I was getting super frustrated. Not only that but he also transferred me to a super new tariff on pay and go...much better than my old one. I'm super impressed with this store, thanks guys!

D. S.This O2 is the busiest mobile 'phone store in York, but the team here are always happy to help with a smile and they know their stuff too. You'll often see the store manager (a very nice chap, Simon) or the assistant manager (a nice lady, Ania) on the shop floor getting stuck in with the rest of the team. Be more dog, O2.
