Bowled over from the service from PC Revamp. Took my iphone in to them after speaker issues expecting a timely repair and expensive bill. Anything but, they spent 10 minutes taking it apart, cleaned the speaker and voila, as good as new. No new parts needed hence the fact the cost was my own donation to their charity box on the counter. Couldn’t have wished for a better service, a more welcoming greeting and ultimately just wanting to help out. I had a problem with my laptop charging port that was loose and failing to charge. My laptop is a gaming laptop and quite specialised so finding parts can be quite difficult. The guys identified the problem quickly and researched many avenues of where they could source the part. Despite it been hard to find, they managed to locate the part from the USA. The guys had my laptop for around 3 weeks keeping it secure whilst the part arrived and fitted it promptly once it had. £82 in total for all this is great value with the laptop now working perfectly again. I would give more stars if I could.....Unbelievably impressed with the service received from PC Revamp! I walked in having smashed my phone screen and a very nice, polite lady explained what options were available to me and suggested going away to think them over, rather than pushing me into deciding there and then which was refreshing, as most companies seem pushy whereas she was far from this. Having had time to think, as I was upset about the possibility of losing my photos, I messaged to say I'd found an alternative handset and communicated on Facebook to arrange an appointment. The messages were responded to immediately with an auto message, then followed with polite prompt responses from staff. I booked an appointment online, which was really easy to do and received an email reminder of my appointment. When i arrived, (a lovely man, i think it was) Paul explained that it may be possible to transfer all the data from my broken phone to the new handset in one go. I went away for less than 2 hours and came back to my phone working exactly as it had done before! The lady who took payment kindly included a case also when I collected my phone, which was exceptionally kind and appreciated. I'm absolutely over the moon and can't thank the staff enough that nothing was lost and I did not have the hassle of having to sort new passwords, download all apps again etc. I cannot recommend PC Revamp highly enough and will be using them again soon to upgrade my laptop and will recommend without hesitation to anyone who has faults with their electronics-they're superb!

I would like to preface this review with the fact that I have not had any of my electronics repaired by this company, however, I did have a very pleasant interaction with them when I was searching the area for SSD mounting screws as I had mistakenly left mine back in my home town. The staff working here very kindly let me look through their spare parts trays and take the screws that I required. As well as getting the charging port on my phone replaced within an hour of the booked slot they also checked out my partner's Kindle and 'told it as it was', i.e. not worth repairing (so new one required). Super service and quality. My daughter knelt on her iPad 8 and the screen smashed. The team managed to squeeze us in just before they closed for Xmas. They couldn’t promise to have it repaired before Xmas, but they over-delivered and did it! The screen is excellent and just like it was from new. They also provided us with a great screen protector. Really happy with PC Revamp and we will be taking 2 of our iPhone X’s there to have the batteries replaced and one of the smashed backs replaced.

I took a tablet and a phone to have the screens replaced on both devices. The customer service was excellent, everything was explained thoroughly and both of my devices were repaired before the given date so very speedy with repairs. My phone is now back to full working order. The tablet screen was not working properly when we received it back but it was a fault with the new screen not fault of the staff. returned the following day and explained the problem and the staff could not have been more helpful. They took the device back in for further repairs and now everything is working perfectly. I would highly recommend PC Revamp for any repairs or services. There is everything to like about PC Revamp. Plenty of parking outside the shop - friendly welcome - everything explained clearly in simple and easy to understand terms (!) - broken iPhone X screen ready to pick up just an hour or so - prices explained clearly upfront. They keep you up-to-date on the repair via text and if it is a more challenging repair they contact you to explain it all before proceeding. We felt comfortable enough to ask any questions. It is a huge relief to find a gem of a repair shop like PC Revamp - somewhere to take the phones/PC etc when it all goes wrong. Really helpful with a 5 year old Samsung tablet. Having major problems recharging. Thought it needed a replacement port but seems the cables I had bought elsewhere previously were not up to the mark. They kept it overnight could not find anything wrong, I bought a suitable cable from them and its been charging fine since. Took my laptop in on Monday because I had problems with my disc drive not working and reading discs. They booked me in for Wednesday. During the lockdown they arrived at my home using strict social distancing, collected my phone, fixed it and returned it within a few hours. This was 3 weeks ago and I've had no issues since. A company that will offer a free call out service, remain professional and resolve any issues with no questions asked is a 10/10 for me. Recently asked PC Revamp to fix my laptop's palmrest as several keys on my keyboard and my trackpad were broken. This job is a pain to do because despite it being on the top, you have to do it from underneath which means removing everything that is in the way. It is a very delicate job but they had it done for me in just a few hours, and it works perfectly! PC Revamp are just fantastic. They are very quick to respond to emails and texts, they are very accommodating with any follow up questions you might have afterwards, their prices are very reasonable and they have shown excellent care in the way they have kept running amidst the lockdown. I would go to them first for laptop help every time, no question. Oh, and they are great with phones too, the replacement they did on my Nokia 8's screen was excellent.

I dropped off my son xbox controllers as the headphone port wasn't working on either. They did warn me that it may cost more to repair than buy new ones. Anyway after investigation they put new headphone ports in and now they work perfect and it only cost £20 for both. I have used them many times for different things mobile phones, laptop, tablet and now gaming devices and they can always fix them. They are extremely professional and are excellent value for money. We are lucky to have such a company in York.

I brought in an ipad air for what I thought was a charging port replacement and it turned out that the end of my charging port had snapped off inside. The staff were very honest and removed it at no cost. They saved me what I thought was a £55 repair. They didn't try to rip me off or take any money from me. I re-booked in for an iphone screen repair and they had this fixed within 10 minutes. Very happy with the service overall. Happy to recommend to family and friends.

In my years working within retail marketing management and business development (which sadly I don't do anymore), I couldn't help but to leave a review for all to see to express my delight in dealing with such a lovely bunch of people who clearly have a passion for what they do. From the first time I contacted PC Revamp via email late on an evening and not expecting a reply till the next day, I had a reply within 15 minutes. Paul answered my email around 9pm in great detail and helped me to understand the issues I had with my laptop. He didn't talk IT language so I didn't understand. I had an appointment to see someone at the shop the next day. First impressions of the shop from the outside was professional. The shop design isn't in your face, but still speaks volume. The inside of the shop is warm, welcoming and comfy. Greeted by a woman on reception (I can't remember who this was sorry) and nothing but happy and pleasant to talk to. They had the radio set to a nice medium. TV to watch and they've gone that extra distance for the kids. They have a box full of books and to my amazement, a large gerbil aquarium which I find fascinating. My laptop was fixed within 2 days of dropping off, and during the repair process they fulfilled everything they promised. For £35 I had a laptop running just as fast as the day I bought it 3 years ago. Full receipt provided which outlined the work carried out and the warranty included. The woman stressed several times that if I had any issues at all to get in touch. George who was a young chap was friendly and well knowledge in explaining what work had been done on the laptop. Overall, I've been more than happy to deal with PC Revamp. I'll be using them again and I'll be passing the word around. Service - 5/5 Price - 5/5 Location and Parking - 4/5 After Care - 5/5 Knowledge - 5/5 It's very handy to know that they also repair phones and tablets. Very happy with the service carried out by PC Revamp. They fitted a screen on my iphone 7 within 15 minutes. Unfortunately I did notice that the screen had a slight fault. I called them up and without any hesitation they asked me to pop back and fit a replacement. As a good will gesture for the inconvenience, they kindly included a case and some tempered glass. I know not all repairs go smooth, and you hear bad things about other shops, I felt I had come to the right place when contacting PC Revamp. Always used PC Revamp. Been using them since they worked from home. They've come along way since then. The new shop looks fantastic. I've just seen the last two "One Star Reviews" and these are clearly false and dishonest reviews which is very sad to see. The work Paul and the team put into the business is shown by the other 5 star reviews left by honest and genuine customers. I won't lie and say that the business is 100% perfect, but then I don't think any business is 100% perfect. On one occasion I had to come back to PC Revamp (years ago) as the screen failed on a Sony Xperia phone I owned at the time after only 2 weeks. However, they resolved the problem straight away without any questions. They apologized and issued a partial refund to cover petrol costs and I had no issues after that.| I'll continue to use PC Revamp in the future. I hope google will look into these false reviews and take them down.

Fantastic company all around. I can't rate this place enough for all the hard work they put in. After breaking my Galaxy s9 screen I couldn't see anything on the phone which had 100's of photos I couldn't back up, I gave PC Revamp a call and they managed to recover all my photos and videos and they backed these up to a USB stick. I'm not too good on my feet and asked if they would collect the device. It wasn't too far out of their way so they came to collect my phone on the Tuesday evening and they returned it Wednesday evening at no extra cost. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very polite and helpful and the chap who came to pick the phone up was also very polite and helpful. Great team of guys, always helpful and go above the rest to deliver on a service. I first used PC Revamp back in 2013 and I thought Paul was a down to earth guy, easy to have a laugh with and still did the job I paid him to do. I still have my iPhone 4s to this day and screen is still working. I next used PC Revamp when they first opened on Leeman Road and again I couldn't fault the service one bit. This time I needed a laptop repair. Purchased a laptop from PC World and the hard drive failed within the warranty period. PC World were't very helpful and wouldn't guarantee my data would be saved if they replaced the laptop with a working one. Paul managed to recover all my data for £35 and did this same day I brought it in. I used PC Revamp last week for an iPhone X screen repair and again, 6 years since I first met Paul, he delivered on service and customer service. I called PC Revamp at 9.30am, they advised a cancellation had just come through and they fitted me in for 10.30am. 20 minutes later I had a working phone. Really can't fault these guys (I see it's not just Paul anymore), the two girls on reception were helping other customers and from an observation perspective, they seemed friendly and knew their stuff. I'll always recommend these guys to family and friend.

I took it into the shop after leaving it off for a couple of days and they dried it out fully and got it working back to normal within about 15 minutes!! I don't usually write reviews but here we are, on my google account leaving a review for a company that thouroughly deserve a 5 star review. I don't even know where to start really because I've been using PC Revamp for around 3 years now, both at the old Leeman Road premises and the new shops in Badger Hill and every time I have used them, they have never once failed to deliver on service. Both through the good and the bad I have never been left without a delivered service which is rare to come by these days in any city and any trade or business. It goes without saying that this place isn't just a one stop shop for certain needs and requirements, and they certainly don't just "specialise" in one area, they do the full works which is rare to come by. The very first repair PC Revamp did for me was in 2017 when they repaired a damaged laptop keyboard, still to this day works a dream. 2018 they fixed several company phones for the business I own and manage and each phone repair was done to a high standard and in a very fast turnaround. In the past I have shopped around and used other phone shops who have let me down with poor quality parts, yet PC Revamp have provided me with a good service with good quality parts and this was noticable after the repairs when I compared the repair quality from previous repair shops. One phone screen out of the 7 I had done did become faulty. I reported this to PC Revamp and they resolved this straight away, no questions asked and did this in very good time. They even threw in some tempered glass and a phone case as a way of saying sorry - who else does that? 2019 we had a personal issue which was non business related and they gained access to my laptop (out of hours) and fixed my Outlook issues for no charge at all. It took a good 20 minutes of IT jargen but still refused to take any payment. I popped into the new shop last week to discuss upgrading the 25 desktop computers we have at our business along with future IT Support for our small server so we're now running on Windows 10, along with the new Office package and not only did they give the go-ahead, but they have done this at literally 2/3 of the price I got quoted anywhere in York. This place literally IS the only place you need to go for all you IT and phone needs. I think they have 4 or 5 members of staff to hand and between them, they all know how to fulfil your needs I call them the Tescos of Technology. The one stop shop for all your IT and Gadget repairs. They do the lot, and they do it well and clearly the reviews don't lie. A 5 star review I'm happy to contribute towards.

Have used PC Revamp before and was highly satisfied, so when my PC went pop and got stuck in a continual loop of not being able start up I took it into the shop. Paul give me an idea of what he thought it might be and after running some diagnostic tests he was right, the hard disk was shot. A new hard disk was obtained and fitted very quickly and also the operating system was re-installed as that was corrupt. Extra work was involved but I was charged the price of the original quote which was very reasonable. My computer is now running like a dream. Big thanks to Paul and his team. Perfect service from profesional repair centre. I call PC Revamp at 1pm and they had my phone fixed in 30 minutes. My iphone 7 had cracked screen and no working touch ID from previous repair in Hull. Everyone say that touch ID is not fixed but PC Revamp fix this for me with no extra cost. The screen is sharp than before and everything work ok.
