I needed an urgent screen replacement for my iPhone X and saw the excellent reviews for here. The gentleman was really polite and has done such a good job. My old screen was a “replacement” and quite fuzzy at times. This one is so clear and was much cheaper, and I was kindly given a screen protector for free. I would not hesitate to come back again! The best repair store in town! I was reluctant to bin my broken headphones, so I was looking for a miracle. Out of the five repair stores I consulted, only the owner of Phone Universe was willing to attempt to repair my headphones. The other stores just told me it was not fixable. The owner was really friendly and helpful and the repair did not cost much. I was moved when he said he would try his best for his customers as long as they are happy and satisfied. I would rate my experience a perfect 10, and you will not be disappointed choosing Phone Universe!

What a great shop! and run by a very knowledgeable, helpful man. After i dropped my phone facedown onto a very hard floor (bad!) i found this shop, based on recommendations from a friend and from KIT computer store (good!). The work was not as costly as I feared, and my phone was back in only two days (best!). Sarkon (sorry if i misspell your name) is friendly and kind, and also let me borrow a phone while i waited. I called about getting the screen on my iphone changed, and the phone was promptly answered and person on the other end was extremely helpful, told me to simply pop in with the phone and it would be sorted. Arrived and handed over the phone, was given a quote that was a very reasonable price, and told the wait would be an hour. When I came back the phone was fixed, screen in perfect working condition, but I had told him it was an iphone 6S Plus and he discovered it was actually an iphone 7 so the price was a little bit more but not by much, he knocked a fiver off of the overall price for me which was very kind. Overall the service was prompt, polite and professional, I will definitely return for future repairs and would %100 recommend this place to others.

In the end I bought a replacement phone as my Galaxy S4 was definitely getting past its sell by date, which I can now use as a back up - it was mended in under 12 hrs. The owner was very friendly, giving me a great price, and offered for me to be able to pick them both up the next day. What I didn't know, until the next day, is that he stayed back a couple hours after closing the shop fixing the phones (one had some water damage that required extensive repair work) so that they would be ready for me the next day. my phone was in absolute shambles before i arrived at phone unverse on a misty tuesday evening. i'd just returned from the wedding of my ex-husband's next door neighbour after having a terrible incident at said gathering. when i saw him there with his new woman i was absolutely gutted. every bone inside my body tingled with pure rage and in my fit of upset and anger i closed one eye, aimed carefully, and chucked my phone right at his fat head. now, let me paint a picture for you: this guy's head is ginormous and his skull is mighty thick, much like the rest of him. as i'm sure you can imagine, my phone did NOT survive a blow such as this one. at the point of contact, it shattered like a river in the antarctic. the screen was flickering, glass was everywhere. if i'm being quite honest, my shriek of rage probably contributed to the damage. a voice like mine can shatter every window of Buckingham palace! the ex-husband in question didn't press charges after this disaster unfolded. in fact he said "i completely understand why you want to throw your iphone 4s at my nimble skull." anyways, i took my poor little broken phone to phone universe in york (i don't live in york but i had to drive far and beyond to escape my ex-husband's new woman, as she was threatening to rip my wig off). the kind man at the shop fixed my phone so well you couldn't even tell it was ever broken! i highly recommend this amazing place. i'm ever grateful for the repairs that were done for me. thank you phone universe, and i hate you richard my ex husband!!!!
