I had a small issue with the iPad after the glass was replaced and they could not have been more helpful, the issue was rectified really quickly without any fuss. What a relief to find such a friendly, quick and professional phone repair service! Andy is exceptional in the service he provides. He gives and honest and quick diagnosis of the issue, gives a ‘worst case’ quote, handles the repair efficiently and quickly and either sticks to the quote or less (dependant upon the solution vs the worst case quote), so all good news when you are quickly (same day or overnight) reunited with your precious mobile! I had a new battery fitted into an old iPhone 6 in August 2020, it totally drained and wouldn’t recharge so I contacted them on the website via their contact email, they came back really quickly (which in itself is brilliant, I think it’s the first reply I’ve ever had that from a contact form) and asked me to bring into the shop. I wanted a new battery and back camera for my sons mobile phone and the screen replacing. I rang around repair shops in the local area and found that York Phone Repairs was by far the most competitively priced. I was able to drop his phone in and collect it an hour later. Andy did a fantastic job sorting it out. The lady who works there (I didn’t get her name) was really lovely and friendly and very helpful when it came to advising my son on how to get the best out of his new battery. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future for any mobile phone repairs that I may need.

Superb experience with York Phone Repairs. I'd never had to have a phone fixed and was delighted to learn that my ageing iPhone 5S could have its troublesome charging port replaced. Super friendly and helpful when I contacted them over the phone. They had the parts in stock, told me to drop by when I was next passing, I did and they performed the repair there and then. I was out the door within half n hour with an iPhone returned to its former working glory (and the work guaranteed to boot). Would recommend highly to anyone.

WHAT A TEAM! Basically saved my life, my phone died a horrible death. These guys immediately knew what needed to be done. The team let me sit in the shop for a few hours after miraculously managing to power up my phone so I could do one final backup and retrieve my data, something that your phone manufactures would not offer. Had my iPhone battery changed here and it was never like the OEM Apple battery. It failed on me on Friday showing 30% when I was trying to call someone and is now stuck in a boot loop. A technician has told me the battery failing has corrupted the NAND and I am facing a bill of £60+VAT. Probably partly my own fault for not asking if they did an OEM battery. They probably do at a higher cost.

Not only did they turn it around in short notice at a very reasonable price, they were able to answer my queries on other items and sold me (without being pushy or anything) a few other items as well. Just casually passing on a Sunday morning and I thought I'll pop in for a diagnosis on my iPhone 6. Had what seemed to be some damage under the screen. The lovely lady at the counter took a look and knew straight away there was a problem with the LCD screen. She told me it would only take 10 minutes to replace and at a very reasonable price. So I got it fixed perfectly in 10 minutes and was treated to a nice cup of tea whilst waiting. The perfect service for a Sunday morning. Would recommend to everyone!!

These guys are brilliant! 100% recommend! I had taken my phone for a replacement screen elsewhere in York after a recommendation, and received it back in an incredibly poor state. It had a knock off screen and vibrated like a clipper set (no joke)! I brought it into the team at York Phone Repairs shortly after, and they replaced the dodgy screen with an official apple screen, and even tried to fix the taptic engine which they confirmed the other guy had knackered. They did an incredible job and were really friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a screen replacement definitely go to these guys!

Received fantastic service at York Phone Repairs. Emailed a query in a Sunday and got a same day reply. Called in Monday morning at 9.15 with a badly broken iPhone 6 screen. Left at 9.25 with a brand new screen and a free screen protector (free because it was impossible to apply it with zero bubbles, despite them trying a second one) All this for £55 using genuine Apple parts. The shop assistant was really helpful and friendly. The phone now works perfectly again. So, I'd not go anywhere else for phone or tablet repairs, this place is first class. Thanks
