Spiritual nourishment received after attending Novena.
I like attending services at Clonard. Definitely a place that gives peace and belongingness.
I will continue to attend. Especially Solemn Novena in June every year paying respect to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Amazing place! Overwhelming sense of peace. The shop is great for Mass Bouquets, lovely candles and little prayer cards. Just note the shop only accepts cash. Thank God for the Priests from Clonard!! They kept us all going through the worst of the pandemic when we couldn't get to Mass in person but could watch it online.

Amazing place on our doorstep 19 mins from city centre on glider bus route. Beautiful gilt mosaic s. We attended an Carol concert, was west end/carnegie hall standard, no kidding. So emotional too, covid standards adhered to very safe. Spiritual place any faith / all faiths.

Second visit, just felt a bit short changed, ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc but was encouraged to try Gavi, unpleasant, wine pairing was really not worth it, will think long about coming back, for £300 I expect a lot more

This is my heaven on earth. I don’t know where I would be without Clonard over the last lot of months. It has really got me through hard times & is continuing to. Everything about it I love especially the lovely priests. I feel for them putting their lives at risks every single day too so thankyou all & thankyou God for giving us Clonard.

I live in the South of England and discovered Clonard Monastery during our ‘Lockdown’.
I tune in on-line each morning for the early mass. The mass is always delivered with such kindness and compassion and the priests are so friendly and engaging and mindful of their on-line congregation.
Some day when this dreadful pandemic is over,I plan to come over and visit this lovely place in person and to experience the calm and peace which it exudes.Thank you all for bringing a bright start to each new day.God bless you all.

I live in Nigeria. Bumped into the clonard Monastry mass online during the First Pandemic lockdown around this time last year. It has been such a wonderful experience worshiping with you all and now most of my family attend mass online with Clonard. We love the peace and serenity and the very friendly atmosphere. Thanks to the priests for always waving at us after mass. Really gives us a sense of belonging. Will definitely visit the Clonard community whenever I get the chance to travel. God bless you all.

We were able to watch the Easter Vigil mass last night on webcam. It was beautiful. The Altar was also beautiful. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this possible.

This oasis of tranquility in the heart of the city is a beautiful place to visit. If you are religious you will delight in the exquisite expression of devotion in the heart of a deprived community that the monastery represents. If you are not, you may just appreciate the peace and quiet. Either way it is hard not to be impressed by this church and the faith of the people of Belfast that it symbolises.

As a member of the Clonard Monastery Redemptorist community I wish to point that the address published on Google maps is incorrect.
The correct mailing address and street address is:
Clonard Monastery, 1 Clonard Gardens, Belfast BT13 2RL, UK.
The (incorrect) address supplied by Google maps, namely: 17 Waterville Street is in adjoining street and it is a private family dwelling.
As a result of the misstatement provided by Google maps this family is receiving mail destined for the monastery and is discommoded by having to bring it to us.
Not only are there problems for the Royal Mail postal delivery personnel but also for those making large deliveries that find themselves at a private dwelling and have then to be redirected from Waterville Street to Clonard Gardens.
So a request to the appropriate department of Google Maps International to please make this correction as soon as is possible.
Google Maps supply a worthwhile service but when its information is incorrect it can add to peoples problems.
Yours faithfully,
Br. Anthony McCrave, C.Ss.R.

As a building, Amazing but the reconciliation work attempted here is spectacular

This place draws thousands of people to Jesus, even the lapsed Christians come back to their faith. The weekly novena of our Mother of Perpetual Help restores people to their faith and strengthen them in their faith. I worked at this shrine during the annual novena of our Mother of Perpetual Help.

(Translated) Interesting both as a church but above all for the history behind it. As with most city points of interest, it is preferable to visit it accompanied during a taxi tour
