L. S.A friendly and welcoming church. They have contemporary worship on a Sunday evening, wheelchair friendly , free tea or coffee on arrival. A beautiful church sympathetically modernised. They have a lot going on throughout the week as well and very friendly when you email or contact them.
K. L.I love this church for enthusiasm and reality of worship & teaching. Always a welcome from volunteers who offer freshly brewed coffee (and decaf or peppermint tea for me!) More intimate size of congregation over summer holidays, and big enough the rest of the year to be caught up in massed worship like a foretaste of all the nations worshipping round God's throne! If you want to make friends and be part of a personal community I really recommend the newcomers intro & teas to get integrated into a local midweek group, or to join a volunteer group helping parents & toddlers, recovery groups, and all the practical ways this church serves the Bristol community.

S. C.First impressions were welcoming, interesting speakers especially Phillip J whose talks inspired me since I was at school. Great place to try Alpha where there's a youthful mix of the congregation. When I was young I thought Woodlands was pretty cool, it seems to have kept up and including the refurbishment of the foyer area.
B. W.A great church to visit! Very welcoming communities and even though it is a big church, it has the warm community feeling of a small one. I go to the evening service and love the music, hoping to get involved if I do join the church. You can find their music on Spotify, Woodlands Music!

N. D.Reviewing a church with an out 5 star rating system 🤔 very strange. I hope no one uses this to actually decide if they want to go or not. It's not an entertainment facility, its a place of worship.

B.This Church is excellent for young people because of it's commitment to Students and especially international students (including support of BISC).It also has people involved in ministries to the poor and needy (directly or indirectly) and is a very welcoming church to people of all nations classes and pursuations.
The music is professional and contemporary and the leaders are approachable ordinary folks who have a heart for seeing the city transformed by God. There is a real emphasis on replicating the life of Jesus (otherwise known as discipleship).
There are opportunities for everyone to be involved in church life and ministry, supported through a network of congregations and small groups around the city.
ALPHA groups are very much a part of the life of the church and this enables people who may have alternative beliefs, no belief system or may have some sympathy with Christianity to explore what Christianity is all about in a friendly social atmosphere where food is provided and small discussion groups are facilitated.
Group facilitators don't have all the answers but the groups thrive on the input from people who may have simple or deep-searching questions or alternative beliefs but are keen to discover more.
This is also a growing church and there is much evidence of lives that have been transformed by God, sometimes as a result of physical healing.
