Very friendly and welcoming church community. Wonderful new Community Centre too which has been thoughtfully designed for community groups and hires.

Urban oasis, sensitively redesigned with a wide variety of activities on offer to cater for all tastes.

A lovely friendly church they greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. None of the nastiness of people talking about each other behind each others backs I experienced at other churches. Someone took me over to coffee after the service so that I had someone to chat with. It feels like home.

New facilities in the church hall are amazing

A very special place in my life! Where I got married in 2000 and where my children were baptised. Newly reordered in 2016 and ready for a new century to continue the tradition of worship on the site since the times of William the conqueror!! Everyone welcome !! Come and join us!!
Newly reordered means had it not been redone thanks to a very generous legacy the church would now not be open. Please if you visit speak to the friendly people.

An extremely warm and friendly church that welcomed me the moment I first stepped foot inside. Full of lovely people that try to make everyone feel included and happy, and definitely make an enjoyable and comforting place to worship ❤️

A lovely and welcoming church!
I’m quite interested in different faiths, I’m not from Coventry and from the moment I’ve stepped into this church I’ve been nothing but welcomed.
I’m actually Jewish and the people in the church welcomed me with open arms. It is a very loving and friendly community ❤️

I walked through those church doors on my own back in 2009 with no knowledge of what to expect, would I be welcomed? What can I expect? Will anyone talk to me? What if the vicar speaks to me? OMG I was so nervous and as on previous occasions nearly turned around, but no this time i knew I had to go through those doors and boy I haven't looked back since.
The welcome was very gentle not in your face and pushy, the service was easy to follow with a booklet giving you instruction on when to stand, sit and an explanation of where the tradition comes from.
Thr people at stoke st Michael's do not realise how brilliant they are, believe me I know , I have terminal cancer and without their love, support and prayers I wouldn't be here , but I am and its down to them supporting me and my family, they truly are God's people and I encourage anyone who is curious about what lies behind those doors to take a look, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Oh, did the vicar speak to me, oh yes, I tripped over my words, worrying about letting loose with my ps and qs but he put me at ease and I'm happy to say 9 years on I can call him one of my very close friends, who would have thought that a rough council estate kid having a vicar, his wife and family as close friends.
