Reviews of Culross & Torryburn Parish Church
Not sure why I didn't know about this village which is practically on my door step. Stunning. A proper little gem.
The walk up from Culross may be a bit steep, but the houses have been restored it gives the village a great feel of the past. The cemetery is very old and does stir the imagination
An impressive Church, although partially destroyed. View of the village is great and you will learn lots of new things about the history of the place
Free entry. Nice views. There is place were to park your car. Best access from A985 because streets are so narrow for town side.
Fantastic visit to Culross Abbey and church amazing history a must visit if you're in the toon......
Very pretty place for a relaxing walk
Lovely church in lovely village, where some scenes of Outlander TV show were shot.
A place of peace with its own history. Don’t remember to visit the old church close to this one
Very steep hill if walking up from culross. Driving up is a wee bit tight but easy if you take care. Easier to access from A985. No marked spaces but space for a few cars.
Eerie graveyard and a brisk walk up the hill best time to be there after 7pm. All the tourists are gone and it becomes a ghost village. Apart from the people in the pub there was nobody there.
Very good place to visit in all weathers steaped in history old buildings great views for everyone, even has sea views and play parks for children and also has free car park, nice pub and little coffee shop to but there no big major shops there go visit I recommend it you won't be disappointed
Visited as tourist. Very interesting building and exhibits. Recommended
Park in town and walk up. Beautiful ruins and the still functioning chapel has loads of atmosphere inside.
A picturesque historic town, beautiful palace and magnificent garden.
Really nice place to visit
Worth venturing inside

(Translated) WHAT A BEAUTY: an off-the-beaten-path place in lower Scotland, Culross offers charm and peace. The Church and the nearby ruins are beautiful. To be enjoyed on a summer afternoon.

Worth seeing. Also a stop in the teahouse, which is run by two older people, integrated into the 800-year-old brickwork.
(Translated) Church in ruins but very nice atmosphere, a bit out of time.

Eglise en ruine mais très belle ambiance, un peu hors du temps.
