Reviews of Ps & Gs (St Paul's & St George's) Church

We regularly attend the playgroup here on a Thursday and it’s just fabulous. My son has a great time, loads of toy options, it doesn’t feel too crowded. The volunteers are all so kind, helpful and considerate. Definitely worth checking out.

As an Episcopalian minister, always glad to see a living church building in the heart of town, would love to join the worship here next time round!

I do pot wash here for Saturday Night Meal for homeless etc. I just love it! - lovely building, lovely people… that’s all I know!

Great space, friendly people and good events

While not many spoke to me personally I did feel welcome at Sunday evening service and atmosphere was very good with lots of people chatting. Songs rather than hymns which I prefer as print is small and lose your place and start singing wrong words. I want to move house & want to be sure wherever I choose I will have some connection and roots. They have lots for community which wouldn't help me but it is important for others to have a support network too. Don't let your bus take you a mystery tour before or after church, preferably warned or you will have long walk

Great Christian community. All welcome. Jesus lifted high.

Modern worship group, ministry teams, soul food for homeless 2-course hot food served Saturdays 5.30pm -7.00pm. Its great to experience, well worth a visit.

Just a fabulous church. Felt the presence of God being there. Christ's love shining through. Was there visiting with family. Lots of children too wonderful.

A very committed church with superb outreach to the community. If every church took a leaf out.of this one's book, churchgoing would be a.much better experience for all.

A wonderful playgroup takes place on Thursdays (11am or 2pm). It lasts 1hr 30 mins with the last few minutes singing songs in a circle. A small donation is all they ask for and you are provided with so many play areas. Vehicles and toys, house corner, drawing, play doh, stories and more! On the stage is a separate are for smaller babies not yet toddling. Then they serve tea, coffee, cakes and snacks and sippy cups for the kids. Staff are always friendly and very helpful.
