Reviews of St. Patrick
Went there for Sunday mass.
The service was accompanied by a talented organist and choir with well-organized ushers and readers.
The community was very welcoming and friendly over coffee and afterwards.
The church houses the tomb of the venerable Margaret Sinclair as well as lovely vitrails.
Our daughter, Sarah, married Phillip McKeown last Saturday, 17.10.15. In this beautiful church. Father Philip officiated and it was a very special, spiritual and beautiful occasion. We live in London but when we return to Edinburgh we will come back to St Patrick's as it will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Hidden away little gem off the Royal mile. Made very welcome, contemplation and peace. Lovely sung mass on Sunday.
The church is lovely, however the choir is much to be questioned. Also the congregation is dwindling. New priests, new times, new thoughts...
A pretty church, well look after. Love the little chapel dedicated to the local saint.
Amazing history. Lovely building in a really old part of the capital. St Pats is steeped in history.
Beautiful historic Catholic church
Lovely church, was lovely to see where my grandparents had been baptized
Went to a great choral concert here. Lovely church. Worth seeing.
I love that church an I always will. Peace and quiet and time for thinking . Time for reflection....
Staff are accomodating and the church is a peaceful place to worship
Beautiful, simple temple. Attentive and joyful priest greeted us. Learned about venerable Margaret Sinclair and her life, so encouraging. Spent some moments on her shrine. Nice place to stop five minutes, reconnect and be grateful
Beautiful Church, got married here and have went to mass countless times.
Love it.
Great place of worship
I am not a religious person but I was very moved to see people from diverse backgrounds sharing a common belief and forming such a close community.

A church that soothes the mind and calms the soul
It does not deserve to be visited, devoid of any noteworthy artistic work.
A place for calm and quiet contemplation just off a very busy part of the Royal Mile.
Times of services are shown outside the main entrance and the church is open for much of the day.
There is a small information desk with a literature about the church and its activities.
Delightful church in the center of Edinburgh. The priest is truly an exquisite and very kind person. For Catholics in Edinburgh it is certainly a point of reference.
a beautiful church built in the neoclassical style. You should definitely have a look inside if you are in Edinburgh.
I am Catholic and I found this beautiful church near the Royal Mile in Edinburgh in a well hidden location and very beautiful and welcoming!
Open Catholic Church. It was possible for us to celebrate the s. Mass with the tourist group I was part of
A place where you can find a moment of inner rest even for those who are not believers... the invitation that this place makes to you is to sit and think!!
(Translated) The appearance is very beautiful, and there will occasionally be concerts in the church.

外觀很漂亮,教堂內偶而會有音樂會。
Passing through the street where this church is located, something struck us in the facade and we entered it, beautiful church inside, clear and very calm
It is a quiet place to pray and very welcoming. Your Community is friendly. I really like going.
A simple Catholic church, but beautiful.
Quiet place for prayers. Calm.
Although the address is the High Street. This church should be viewed from the Cowgate. The main doors are very imposing and the is a War Memorial dedicated to the fallen in the First World War.
One of the only Catholic churches in Edinburgh
As soon as I set foot in the lobby of St Patrick's I immediately noticed a small statue of someone who looked familiar. Moreover I also recognised the 8-pointed Malta Cross on the base of the statue of Fra Andrew Bertie, Prince and Grandmaster of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (Knights of St John).
Once I was inside the church I was amazed at its splendour. I also enjoyed the Vigil.
A church worth visiting in a prime location very close to the centre.
And not to forget that the Remains of The Venerable Margaret Sinclair rest in her own named chapel.
Regular masses take place on the way towards Her Beatification.
All such details plus other items from the specialist church shop.
An ideal resting place for prayer within the old City Centre.
If / when there please do not forget to sigh the visitors book.
Thankyou.
A beautiful church, well worth visiting. Very welcoming and has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A therapeutic place for anyone suffering from stress.
St Patrick's Church Edinburgh The Venerable Margaret Sinclair. This Church is worth a visit and is so beautiful with its old marble altar and the crucifix with Jesus.
