W. R.You can find the Highland Tolbooth Kirk, now renamed The Hub, at the intersection of Lawnmarket and Castlehill, near the top of the Royal Mile.
It was formerly a Church of Scotland building, and remains one of the most characteristic buildings of Edinburgh, with its silhouette visible from all around the Old Town.

J.This iconic towering black gothic church (aka Kirk in Scottish) with orange windows is a part of most skyline pictures you see of old Edinburgh city. You can't miss it walking the royal mile, and a place you must stop at for photos. The detail in the stonework is incredible from up close.
