Used to go there for mass in the 1960’s when I was a pupil at Our Lady & St Francis school. I visit every time I am home from Canada 🇨🇦 on holiday. A very quiet, peaceful atmosphere within the church. It was great to see that the congregation remained silent in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. I managed to receive confession and Holy Communion on a First Friday, during the summer months. Absolutely delighted.

It's the church in the heart of Glasgow city, facing the River Clyde. Used to attend Mass here in 2008-2009. Also in 2015. Now this year in 2019 I am back to this very church. Feels amazing . Relaxed and free. The church service here is also very good. Very peaceful church to be.

This Cathedral is at the heart of Catholic Glasgow. Within it one can feel the press of history. Recently, beautifully redecorated, it is lovely and bright with a magnificent baptismal font. Highly recommended!

Early 19th century Catholic cathedral, seat of the Archbishop of Glasgow. Major renovation completed in 2011. An active Cathedral with regular Mass and celebrations. A great place to visit for religious reasons or as a tourist. Well worth a stop on your itinerary when you visit Glasgow.

Nice cathedral which has been revamped after being shut for a while for the renovations. Still think St. Aloysius Church in Garnethill is the nicest Catholic church in Glasgow. Has the Ave Maria in Latin on the right wall of the church. Has a huge marble baptismal font. Still, worth a visit.

This fairly modern cathedral dedicated to Saint Andrew strikes a stark contrast with Glasgow's much older, and more famous medieval cathedral. The metropolitan cathedral is bright and clean, small but striking. It sits on the bank of the Clyde, nestled comfortably in between even more modern buildings of Glasgow. Do stop inside to admire the white and gold interior, and step outside for a moment of peace in the memorial garden, with its water, mirrors and olive tree, a tribute to those who lost their lives in the tragedy of the Arandora Star.
