Went here as a kid to there youth group. Was a really fun place back then with good teachings at the end before we left. Loved it. Come back as a born again, and the place and the people were warm and friendly. Great place. I'd recommend non-Christians to go if ever get that itch about the way we fit into the universe, listen to another pov. Very patient an open place. 👏

In reflection to the post on here by a Mr Stephen Woods I find it sad that he felt like he had such a miserable experience during his visit to Kingsway. The reason for my response to his review is because incidentally I was sitting right there at the time and witnessed the entire event. The person he is referring to is often one of the first to greet new people or strangers and try’s his best to make them feel somewhat at ease and welcome. I find it very sad that the experience of Stephen by one of our Churches most friendly guys who often introduces himself as Uncle (and then his name) was someone be misunderstood and taken to be so offensive. All I can say is the gentleman involved is a retired fun loving family man. As for him giving you a quick pat on your knee whilst sitting next to you and chatting to you (which I also saw him do). I can assure you that there was nothing sinister meant by this and on behalf of the gentleman I’m sorry for this also deeply offending you. We can be a times quite a loving Church he could count himself fortunate that he didn’t get a hug of someone instead 😁. In response to a second person who approached him (this being a conflicting statement that no one came to speak to him) and the assumption that a question that was asked (also taken as offensive) because it was assumed that somehow related to the way this man was dressed, were as it could have been a number of reasons, like body build, rough hands or even just general small talk, who knows? but all I can see is the very thing he has been accused of (judging someone) is the very thing he has had in return had done to him. Im sorry that the experience was not so pleasant and im also sorry that it left such an negative impression on Stephen and that he had such a miserable experience. Take care and may God bless you.
