J. W.I've visited the church with my daughter who lives in Balham a few times. Each time I've received a warm & friendly welcome from Luke, the minister & members of the congregation. The church is incredibly forward thinking. The services are enjoyable & uplifting yet, with a sense of tranquility & peace.
The Sunday service was followed by a beautiful Christening Service. My grandson was Christened & so pleased he's part of this amazing church family.

From a friendly chat over coffee, to children's playgroup and puppet shows. The Ascension Church has created a community hub and I feel lucky to have been able to attend over the years.

As someone also once said, we are not a 'tutting church' - we welcome children and really don't mind if they make noise! During the week (subject to COVID) there is also a lovely cafe and space to meet, work or pray.
