.. Absolutely beautiful church...the Notre Dame de France Choir gave a charity concert last Saturday night at this Church. Some of the choir sang at our daughter's wedding in September.

Somewhat of a hidden gem as it sits i between a quiet road and the small gardens. Gorgeous architecture and peace can be found within this church. Many little hidden places and sections for prayer, candles to be lit and generally just a place to sit and reflect. Currently open with covid measures in place. Lots of information relating to the faith can be found within.

I needed a little time to myself so I strolled over to the church for some history and prayer. I was the only one inside for at least 20 minutes. It is a gorgeous, historic location with new art on display that is breathtaking. I'm so happy I took time to go sit and reflect in such a beautiful space.

A renovated mid 19th.Century Grade II Listed Jesuit church with an imposing Gothic western facade and beside the delightful Mount Street Gardens. The sumptuous interior, rich in accoutrements, fittings and decoration, an exquisite hammer-beam roof, atmospheric stained glass and noteworthy altar adding to the becalmed ambience. A tour de force, quite extraordinary. An active community here.

A truly beautiful church in the heart of Mayfair. Luxurious and finely decorated. Multiple mass services daily (English and Latin - pre Covid era), confessions on left side of church in separate rooms with partition doors. Huge stain glass window behind the main alter. Run by the Jesuits.

Things needed for the mass is well organized and the choir of the church is few but they perform well... This Beautiful Church is run by the Jesuit Order in Mayfair. The altar was designed by Augustus Plugin, and several quite stunning works of art. Situated on Farm Street, just off Berkeley Square, this quiet space will reward any time spent here. And it's free...

Fantastic ecclesiastical discovery! This little church has one of the most wonderful of entrances - one enters alongside the chancel, with a side view towards the altar through glazing at the rear of the north wall Sedilia and greeted by an imposing statue of a Saint who looks like he's clad wholly in black leather. Then the church opens up with an impressive nave and elegant aisles. This is a very beautiful church, one of London's hidden architectural gems.

I cannot comment upon the religious aspects, nor shall I try. The building is a Pugin masterclass in OTT. I was lucky enough to be guided by a congregation member with considerable knowledge, thanks Peter for turning an interesting visit into an even better experience. Well worth a visit for the sake of the architecture and history.

A beautiful quiet church in the heart of Mayfair. Outside the front entrance you can see the original "farmhouse" after which the church was named when it was built in the mid-19th century. Inside I took particular delight in the gargoyles at the top of the pillars - a great irreverent combination displaying great craftsmanship.

This is a welcoming church in the centre of London. It is set in a park which provides short pretty walks in good weather. There are several services on a Sunday. We went to the 11.00 am service. It was in Latin reflecting the cosmopolitan nature of the congregation. It was followed by a drink in the hall where we were made very welcome.

Gothic Revival, Grade II. Founded by Jesuits when looking for a quiet place to establish a Jesuit church. This is decorated gothic and the front of the church towards Farm Street was apparently inspired by that of Beauvais Cathedral (The Cathedral of Saint Peter of Beauvais in the north of France). It's a gorgeous Church to visit.

Beautiful church. But FYI, the 7pm Sunday Mass is not normal with rubric breaking, break out groups and gatherings in the middle of mass. We decided to leave in favor of a more traditional and reverent mass.

I stopped by this cathedral to attend Mass during my visit to England. It's a beautiful place. Please note that there are always Masses at 1pm on weekdays.
