I attend it's weekly Thursday Bible studies. I've always known it to be a Church I'm not going to join per say, as I don't generally like the Anglican Church and just like what I expect from an Anglican Church, slightly solemn by my standards, 20 years in pentecostal circles. I've twice had an Afrikaans man called Werner try to enlist me to join the Church, like as though Jamie Child hired him to be his recruiter or something. 2 years when I actually went to his house, somebody who actually worked for the Church, wanted to dispute with me whether the Church was a #CofE. Really sad, you work for a religious ministry and you don't know what denomination your employer is? What a shame. I've only come to know how dreary it is when I went to recent service of it's and comparing it to a solemn Baptist Church in Farringdon which I went to a few weeks prior, Crossway Stratford was very dreary. I think it could do a lot more for it's congregants, like during it's twice annual weekends away, arrange for a coach to take congregants from a meeting point in Stratford to the venue, then back again. Just ask for £10 or £20 or something to cover the cost, instead of leaving people to take the tube, then the train, then a minicab from Bushey. How much money's that going to cost an individual? However, I do like the idea if them not taking an offering during services, they allow you to give in secret.

It's a Church I've known for 3 years, am deciding to withdraw from it, but would recommend it to somebody who said to me they were looking for a Church to fellowship in.
