Beautiful building and great place to hear lectures with good visibility and sound. The pews aren’t the most comfortable, however, but spacious enough leg room.
P. T.
Excellent conference facility with plenty of space and all the amenities required to enjoy the day.

We used the centre for a day Conference and around 400 people attended. The aciustics are good but there are steps up to the main audatorium and down to the coffee bar and toilets. If you are disabled there is an entrance round the back where you can get into the main hall without steps as well as two toilets, one large enough for wheelchairs. The staff at the centre were very helpful and kept bins clear and allowed us to use the lower hall for packed lunches. There are two smaller halls on site. Because it is a beautiful older building steps are on every level and there isn't a lift. Great if you are able bodies but the disabled can't access the snack bar or other halls. There is a very helpful virtual tour online. We had a great day but I would plan some things differently for our disabled guests, if we were to us this venue again. The all day parking exemption and ramps to help bring in a bookshop, were very useful Location opposite the Home Office in Marsham Street easy to find and there are Oret, Caffè Nero and Itsu stores and other restaurants within a 10 minute walk. All who came seems happy and I didn't here any complaints on the day.

Saw Brian Greene give a fantastic talk. The staff were friendly and the architecture is beautiful. Could do with some cushions for the seats. Easily walkable from Westminster or St James's Park tube stations.

This is an old, established building that has a great history. I have been here on numerous occasions for civil service events and it's a popular choice. This time I'm here for a conversation with William Gibson on his book Agency. This shows the diverse events that happen here. It is a lovely wooden walled main room. Very relaxing. Worth a visit or at least check what's happening here when you're in the area.

Lovely place. Saw Nigel Farage. Press were there. Michael Heaver. Richard Tice. Half of them were already at the pub around the corner! My friend and I stood next to Heaver drinking with a few others. Dan turned up Farages assistant. Great nite.
J. J.
Attended a long service award ceremony hosted by the Met Police. Very nice hall with a dome centre piece and marble foyer.
J. L.
Chosen workshop was awesome... Thanks for hosting the presence so beautifully, Thank you Ray Hughes for sharing what you carry... Be blessed!

Well worth a visit. Good architectural design, well ventilated with good decor and clean facilities.

Fantastic venue, another hidden gem in London
Y.
Great place, very big from the inside, there were plenty of restrooms and the service was satisfactory.

I recently attended the Vision for Israel Feast of Tabernacles it was a great place to receive GOD'S teaching and dance and praise the Lord.
D. S.
Incredible service run by Kings Church. Very welcoming and encouraging. Loved my visit.

First impressions, beautiful building and the auditorium is breath taking the architecture of the building is just exquisite. I was there for over a week as we have our events there. And the staff are all warm and welcoming. John, Chin , Sarah , have been very attentive and made us feel part of the team. All the guys that worked in the lobby have been amazing and everyone worked so hard to make everything run smoothly. I highly recommend this place as it is a great venue and more over the people that are in charge and work there will make your experience there be so great you would not want to leave. I look forward being back there in the Summer!!!
I. K.
Lovely building. Interesting activities. Emmanuel center is never a bad decision
M. C.
Great space for a talk. Wish it were a tad closer to a Tube station.
T. S.
Attended the Michael Gove evening hosted by The Spectator. Historic well appointed building and the speaker held his own too...
P. J.
Atmospheric building with character but the seats that are in the main hall are uncomfortable- I would advise you to bring cushions! Also, there aren't enough toilets for times in breaks during events so the queue, especially for the womens', gets massive but other than that it's a good place. There's a small cafe downstairs for snacks and shops to get lunch within a 5 minute walk.
J. G.
I went there for a school trip where a group of qualified scientists lectured about all sorts. Personally I really enjoyed it. I thought the staff were friendly and the lectures were interesting and really made me think. As a building, the Emmanuel centre is nice. The toilets could be better but they weren't problematic. It's main hall is very spacious and let's in a fair bit of naturally light. It's a good place for talks and other things
R. H.
Both a conference centre and a church. It is a superb venue that has both large auditorium and sizeable breakout rooms. The bathrooms demonstrate the age of the place but it is in great condition, well maintained and very helpful staff. Very impressive auditorium with wooden seats, great acoustics and decent wooden seating
P. K.
Nice church with lots of friendly people.
C. S.
Held a half day conference here - working religious premises at the weekend but conference/event facility during the week. Excellent AV facilities, onsite staff - Elvis was amazing! Food was simple but ample and our delegates didn't complain. Cost effective for a central London venue. Their tiered auditorium can hold 800+ -

Went here for a day trip for school. Facilities were great and easy access from bus stops and tube stations a 10 min walk away. Also near to many London landmarks in the heart of the city, so a great spot for any tourists visiting.
S. J.
Lovely place to attend a lecture. What a wonderful space and well lit too, with good acoustics. Make sure to get there early so a pillar does not get in your way though.

Hidden gem. Great space
J. Z.
I attended an Public meeting with some some well-known faces discussing about Brexit getting an peoples vote on it. The hall was very full, I spent the whole day. The place doesn't look like any thing from the outside but inside it really something different worth checking out for meetings or getting married there if you want if have the money.
B. F.
Good place for conference and meetings. A Tesco express is nearby and a pret a manger on the corner, but they have a kitchen for catering services if needed .
The main hall has very good acoustics for speeches and a mixer desk to record sessions.
I have always found the staff helpful and friendly.
Also many Bible verses around the walls make for good reading and a testament to the historical past of the building.
l. m.
Good sound quality during speeches, and a nice venue. Only complaint is of the wooden bench seats, bring a pillow to sit on or you risk losing all sensation in your legs
J. B.
KCI London Spanish speaking church meet here.
A. P.
It was very spacious and looked very modern yet old fashioned. The seats weren't very comfortable though, especially if you will be sitting there for more than 1.5 hours.
B. O.
Large space with good facilities. Lots of varying sizes additional rooms. Great for conferences and seminars. Only downside is lack of parking, as located in Westminster.
S.
Polite, attentive pleasant staff. Coffee area good and toilets are clean. Chairs are actually comfortable too. Now that makes a pleasant change?
R. K.
Hosted our company meeting here. Fantastic main hall and has real wow factor. The AV setup was sophisticated and the staff attended to our every whim. I will definitely consider this place again for further meetings
F. B.
Comfort is good and utilitys. But staff are young and lack understanding of clients.
Needs a over looking in hosptailty.
Believe me I have been in lots of hotels and the staff are not false. Play Ground.
S. C.
Great venue, but man, the seats in the auditorium get very uncomfortable after a while. So, if you do go there for an event, bring a cushion!!
J. B.
The centre was ok clean and tidy.
Went to see David suchet talking about his life and his new book. What a lovely man and was able to get a few photos as well
B. H.
Great venue, very clear sound for such an unusual building. Food and drink facilities were a little underwhelming, no sandwiches only crisps and chocolate.
l. b.
Went for a educational art talk, friendly staff clean cafe and good facilities. Wooden benches became a little uncomfortable after a few hours though
S. H.
This is a superb venue. And its a well kept secret too! Highly recommended for events of a variety of sizes. Still functions as a church and offers good rates.
J. O.
A Westminster based Christian Church. A very friendly environment which is open to new comers. I was impressed that the entire service and the words to the Christian songs is signed for those in the congregation with hearing difficulties.
j. h.
A beautiful place to go to, even just for a visit or a service. Very well kepted building very bright and ornate, we had a buffet service which was first class with first class service, a very nice day was had by all !!! So thank you all very much
J. P.
Attended here as part of a Conference venue hire. Staff are spot on and very friendly. The main hall is great and holds 900, and is great and very grand.
k. s.
Everything's good nothing bad to say but if your there for the whole day I wouldn't recommend their canteen food. Also bring a pillow as the seats are slightly firm.
T. A.
The place was great. The abimance is condusive to worship. The facilities ie ladies test room ,very clean. Lots of people arouns to help and answer questions. Will definitly visit again.
J. A.
Been to quite a few talks here through "how to academy". Great venue, staff are very helpful and happy, licenced bar and fully accessible.
N. K.
Rlly beautiful inside, and quite modern. Most of the science education talks are based there, and they couldn't have chosen a better place😊
c.

L. B.

M. S.
Nice venue, good acoustics, but the old pews areva bit uncomfortable
L.
Fabulous evening with Graham Norton but yet again the sound system let it down. Dreadful echo which meant so many of the funny lines were lost.
Please do something about this!
N. L.
Fine, except that i tried to pick up my ticket a couple of hours beforehand and there were no facilities to permit that.
S. F.
Place looks great. Went to a carol service and was a nice experience. You should always try it once.
