SHOCKED. MAJESTIC. Never expected to witness real art in London. Absolutely fantastic. Basilica of Milano, Estrela, Cathedral of Belém, Fatima and Santiago.. this one is the one of a kind, personally.

Amazing beautiful church. Apparently the first ever Greek orthodox church in the United Kingdom. However, I was not very impressed with the service. If you have a wedding here they charge you a lot of cash and standard things you expect to be included are not. A very expensive Church. Westminster City Council also prohibit apparently the church from playing music, to the throwing of paper confetti outside. Turn this church into a museum.

Surprisingly low key from the outside but beautiful on the inside. Quiet, able to sit peacefully without any disturbance. Online it says different opening times. On the door it's 10am to 2pm.

A stunning Orthodox cathedral nestling in Bayswater built by two brothers for their mother. Modelled in many aspects on St Sophia in Constantinople. So it's monumental with an amazing mosaic of Christ pantokrator on the inside of the huge dome looking down on you and has a semiprofessional choir on Sundays. Shame many modern Greeks go more to be seen than for community or worship.

I was there 9 years ago to do the 40 days for our granddaughter and it felt so nice to be there everyone was friendly and asked for a cup of tea afterwards. Thank you for the welcome. We will see you again in September for our grandson this time! I live in Melbourne Australia.
