F.A warm, atmospheric, super acoustic and deceptively large church.
Was welcoming and we are able to sing again.
Three Sunday Masses.
Communion is led, following covid safety guidelines, in a staggered way, under the direction of ushers.
The priest wears a masks during communion and consecrates both bread and wine, however wine is not being recieved by the congreagation, again due to covid guidelines.
K. 1.Fr Javier is a wonderful priest. Very warm, welcoming and interesting to listen to. The church itself is lovely inside and also has a lovely garden with the stations of the cross around the back.
S. K.Came with my mother, here to the rite of induction of new parish priest, who came from our church of St. Thomas' of Canterbury R.C. in Fulham. Fr. Javier Ruiz-Ortiz was wonderful & well loved at our parish. He will be greatly missed!
However, Our Lady & St. Catherine of Siena R. C. Church has a strong supportive community spirit! They have welcomed him with open arms, much to our relief!
His new church is old, quaint & stunning. I loved it there. I shall include pictures of the interior for your perusal on here. Just outside this church is a landmark, a statue of Gladstone no less!
For you lapsed Christians out there. Dont just pass by...go in and have a casual chat with this approachable lovely modern young priest! Google their website if you need to have an appointment with him. Tell them Gloria Wildman of Fulham sent you! He shan't turn you away! Lol!
Brothers and sisters of Bow. Consider yourselves extremely lucky to have this man of God be with you! We wish our Fr. Javier much success with you lucky people of Bow. Endear him to your hearts. Invite him into your homes. Show hom LOVE, SUPPORT & KINDNESS. He shall do right by you.
Their choir is strong and harmoniously Heavenly. I floated away just being there listening to them.
