A church located in city centre. If you are a tourist, you can walk from Tower Hill DLR station or / tower gateway way look around tower bridge. Then walk towards to saint Botolph church. It’s a quiet church. There was a place around the church have lots of Sakura. It’s really stunning.
P. S.
The church is from around 1720 and has a stunning piece of Georgian stained glass and a more recent piece installed after the IRA City bombing. You are given a very warm welcome!

St Botolph’s Church, located in Aldgate High Street, London,
There has been a church on the site for over 1000 years, with the first Rector, Norman, recorded in 1108. The original Saxon building was enlarged in 1418 and almost entirely rebuilt in the next century. This church was demolished as unsafe in 1739.
The present building was finished in 1744. It is the work of George Dance the Elder, who also built Mansion House, the official home of the Lord Mayor of London.

Grade I Listed, mid-18th.Century brick church with distinctive accented quoins and a plain obelisk spire.
Organ reputedly of particular significance and a subdued interior unburdened by an excess of lavish accoutrements.
A well-maintained perimeter now vastly improved with the adjoining recently landscaped pedestrian zone.
An active community here.

Beautiful interior, gr8 altar back piece...tapestry?...of a tree of life, superb set of carvings twixt walls and ceilings, lovely garden wrapped around two sides cleverly folded into the nearby newly refurbed area. In all an utter delight. A gr8 place to begin exploring the city from.

Fantastic historic City church - you can expect to find gorgeous interiors and decorations all around - despite the not very promising construction site all around it. I especially enjoy their bells playing at evenings and the lunchtime recitals on Wednesdays.

Lovely church with peaceful landscaped forecourt. Activities include recitals Wednesday lunchtime. Excellent coffee outlets nearby
P. S.
One of the most remarkable churches in the City of London - if you're in the area you must check out its amazing Victorian era stained-glass windows, and that Victorian curiosity Postman's Park is just next door.

A welcoming and beautiful haven in the bustling City - with a fascinating history - and a commendable inclusive approach to its religious practices. Well worth a visit.

With great history Chaucer Defoe Newton Spenser Darcy and Carew to mention a few. The oldest playable organ of the country is here. First read the free history pamphlet.

St Botolph's Aldgate is a Church of England parish church in the City of London and also, as it lies outside the line of the city's former eastern walls, a part of the East End of London.
The church stands at the junction of Houndsditch and Aldgate High Street approximately 30 metres east of the former position of Aldgate, a defensive barbican in London's Wall.
The church was one of four in medieval London dedicated to Saint Botolph or Botwulf, a 7th-century East Anglian saint, each of which stood by one of the gates to the City. The other three were near neighbour St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate, St Botolph's, Aldersgate in the west and St Botolph's, Billingsgate by the riverside (this church was destroyed by the Great Fire and not rebuilt).
Botolph was venerated as the patron saint of travellers, which is thought to be why churches at the City gates have this dedication.

St Botolph is a set of four parishes, each situated at the four walls of the City of London. This one here is situated at Aldgate. Passed through here on one of the evening walking tours examining the mystery of Jack the Ripper. Known during that time as a church for prostitutes, legend has it that Jack the Ripper stalked one of his victim from this location.

(Translated) Walking around I stopped here too and I underwent a police check ..
Nothing worrying but denotes a climate not too serene for the spread of crime.

Girando a piedi mi sono fermato anche qui e ho subito un controllo della polizia..
Niente di preoccupante ma denota un clima non troppo sereno per il dilagare della criminalità.
