Very peaceful place and historic place

A beautiful church with many attractive architectural features. St Andrew's is a CoE church worshipping in the catholic tradition. A warm welcome is offered to all visitors.

The church have a very approachable priest. He's friendly and always ready to help. The community are very welcoming. There's so much activity happening all the time. It's an inclusive community no one is left out. I would recommend everyone to visit. It's a beautiful church.

This church is very old. Part of it is reputed to be Saxon. There are Roman central heating tiles built into the walls, to be used as candle holders. There is also a plague hatch in one of the walls. It was empty and sad looking for years. The Romanian church has breathed life and colour into this beautiful historical building.

I was glad to get here where the Romanians are a large community and where they can feel closer to God! The large church is an impressive building that appears to have Saxon origins alongside a cemetery and small church. The old cemetery that gives you cold streams with ancient burial stars and monuments in unnatural positions, very old Celtic crosses, cannot be overlooked, everything being swept away by the ivy that flows everywhere! it is important that Romanians have a place to go back and participate in religious services and major religious holidays at home! Am avut bucuria să ajung aici unde Românii constituie o comunitate numeroasă și unde ei se pot simți mai aproape de D-zeu ! Biserica mare este o construcție impresionantă ce se pare că are origini saxsone alaturi aflindu-se un cimitir și bisericuța mică . Nu poate trece neobservat cimitirul vechi ce-ți da fiori reci cu stelele și monumente funerare străvechi în poziții nefirești ,cruci celtice foarte vechi , totul fiind năpădit de iedera ce curge de peste tot ! important e că români au aici un loc unde se reculeagă și să participe la slujbele și la marile sărbători religioase la fel ca acasă !
