Reviews of St Anne's Church
J. C.
Old Church, Soho, beautiful Church yard / garden
D. K.
A beautiful church! Everybody under the rainbow is indeed welcome. One of the first religious places, where I felt included as a transmasculine individual.
D. K.
I love this little garden, it's right in the middle of the city and it's a very nice place to rest your legs if you are sightseeing. It has a few benches and a picnic table where you can eat a snack while resting. The church is very pretty with a small fountain in front.
The only annoying thing is that the A/C (or the ventilation) of the building next to it are noisy, it's like there is a freaking factory.
D. J. D.
A small chapel on the site of the church destroyed by the bombing in Soho September 1940
Parishioners come from Soho and surrounding area.

Very nice place to eat your lunch in peace in Soho 🧘♀️🌯🍏 there are tables and chairs and not too many people.

The soho fete had a good attendance with over1500 people showing up the weather was sunny and very warm
P. G.
Nice and quiet place, in summer can sit on grass is very well kept
M. K.
Very nice piknik place! Some homeless people were there but whatever. Also there is a huge lunch table.
P. B.
Nice refugee garden in the this busy part of town.
R. M.
A nice bit of grass in the city centre but nothing mind blowing as it will always be super busy in a warm day
s. s.
Nice yard for hanging out during good weather.. Well behave people and beautiful flowers
P. R.
A small piece of tranquility in the centre of all the chaos.
M. S.
Always a corner of peace and tranquility in Soho ❤

I was looking for a café and I found this St Anne's church hall. I waited there until 5pm. I had an appointment for dean st clinic. Peaceful hall and lovely tiny and cozy church.
S. B.
Calm and beautiful church in Soho, great place to have lunch by the garden and benches on a Sunny day :)
R. C.
Soho Fete is a wonderful community event which captures the spirit of Soho. Catch it every year. Usually it takes place in July but this year for obvious reasons it was held in September. A truly joyous affair.
D. A.
It's a nice wee resting place in the heart of Soho..sit and eat. think. read.
R. S.
Grab a takeaway and ha it on bench, or play table tennis in this (not so) secret garden)
J. M.
Amazing church with amazing concregation. Priest Simon always warmly welcomes all believers and non-belivers alike.
Very good community spirit and place where you can find long lasting peace and sense of belonging.
l.
Really nice place to stop for lunch. Calm apace in a busy town.
E. P.
St Ann's Church is a great place to go if you need a quiet 5 minutes with yourself. The staff are amazing and the church is a great part of Soho community.
L. P.
Lovely little hidden garden in soho, perfect for sitting in the sunshine with lunch from the nearby market.
Y. M.
I enjoy going here to enjoy my lunch, quiet and a great sun trap in the summer. Unfortunately then can be a lot of pigeons! A popular place for locals. The Soho Food Feast is great here in the summer.
K. N.
Lovely place to have lunch if you work in the area. Awesome during summer months.
M. N.
Lovely little garden, park, churchyard.Ideal for a cheeky smoke or a bite to eat.A nice place to escape the busy streets.Opens 10am.

A very sad occasion, my friend's funeral. The vicar was brilliant and made us all feel at ease, bringing people of all backgrounds and faith or none together to remember Cherie. Rather like she did.
R. A. G.
A seemingly forgotten corner of London's glitzy and ever-busy West End.
If you find yourself overwhelmed by traffic, passers-by, shops, cafés, etc you could do a lot worse than pausing here for reflection and repose for a while.
The courtyard-style garden becomes busiest in clement weather but you can almost always find a spot to rest and relax here amongst the hectic, narrow streets of Soho.
Well worth a visit if you're in the area (especially should you be planning a picnic)!
J. J.
Pretty small and not exactly quiet but it's somewhere you can sit on the grass and get away (kind of) from concrete. Gets really, busy in the summer, especially around lunchtime
B. M.
Great spot to munch your lunch you bought at the berwick Street market.
S. T.
I just love churches
M. D.
A welcome green crevice in an otherwise tangle of concrete, brick and cement. Long may it last.
V. N.
Very nice place to take some rest in a break time.
D. R.
Very chilled place
S. C.
A useful pleasant garden has been made in the old churchyard around the unusual tower, always busy with workers at lunchtime, and a church fitted in around the corner with some interesting modern art.
B. M.
Lovely place to hang out and have lunch in sunny days
P. H.
Quiet place to eat your lunch and take a break from the daily grind. Don't tell anyone...
R. K.
Nice place to relax just a stone's throw from the mayhem
R. B. -. E. k.
For a bit of peace and quiet sometimes pop in here as just down the road from work.
Not as crowded as either Soho or Golden Square.
Quite peaceful and love the architecture and just being in a bit of green space.
M. H.
Very beautifull place the only issue is that it closes after 17:00 o'clock :(
A. K. R.
Very nice place to have some beer and lie on the grass doing nothing!!
P. K.
A nice and quite spot for a respite from tge business of Soho. With a large table with chairs it makes for a great place to have a takeaway lunch or picnic even with a larger group.
A. C.
Good lunch time spot! You can sit on the grass, benches or picnic tables to eat and relax. Well attended by local working staff, it is open and airy. A little shelter from the busy traffic of cars & people in Soho.
A. U.
Good place to have take-away lunch outside in the middle of busy central London
g.
Nice quiet place to eat a snack or chill out
M. F.
Very quiet this place, I went there to have a little rest while waiting for my train at Charing Cross Station,
T. M. (.
Very nice lunch spot, plenty of places to sit, even if the grass is wet, never too busy
r. a. D.
Interesting little place. Near busy piccadilly circus.

Church is Church, colers in light.
M. J.
Beautiful little garden on wardor street with a lovely historical church
g.
Quaint little churchyard in the middle of debauched Soho : -0 !! They do however have community dos in the yard, now and then, and it seems welcoming, and friendly
C. S.
Great little garden also holds the soho food feast every year
M. U.
I normally have my lunch here most days. Lovely little spot. You wouldn't think you were in central London when you sit on the bench to enjoy your lunch. There's table tennis available and all the people I've seen use the area are very respectful, and keep the area tidy.
L. P.
Made a visit to this location on Open House London event and viewed the newly installed public toilet and was very impressed with the design. We need more public toilets.
R. J.
Small Church courtyard that is open to all.
M. F.

Sat and ate lunch here nice to step away from the busy London Street and sit at the tables here
A. B.
Very cozy, in the heart of car noise, construction work, you feel as if you have found a green haven. The recycling bins are a big plus.
M. E.
Nice open space in the middle of Soho. Chill out and enjoy.
s. h.
Nice place to relax and catch some sun
G. P.
We went here to get some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of Soho, and to eat a bubble waffle. There were picnic tables free, but also lots of hungry and aggressive pigeons! These terrified my daughter, so it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. She is just scared of birds though.
S. E.
A corner of tranquility amid Soho' gay village.
S. T.
Quiet enough to have lunch break there with sandwich (tables and chairs usually available)
W. H.
Lovely oasis close to the centre of everything, great place to escape, and find a quiet bench for a sit down.
N. A. E.
Clean and tidy little urban park where you can sit in the sunshine and enjoy your lunch. There is a public toilet that’s covered in local art and often there are soho based events in the garden, including the Soho fête.
The garden is enclosed by ‘the wall of light’ an art installation fence which glows at night.
a. “. s. t. r. m.
It's a garden in the middle of the city with a few benches to sir on. They do have on Mondays and Tuesdays a food market.
L. M.
A hidden spot amazing to catch some sun
J. S.
A delightful semi paved and semi walled church garden in the heart of Soho. Especially recommend the Soho Food Festival held hear every year
P. W.
I often eat lunch here, even in winter when the benches can be wet and the pigeons aggressive. There are rough sleepers but they are harmless and the church welcomes them. 100,000 dead in this small graveyard. Yikes.
J. K.
Sometime there druggies sitting around
N. R.
1686 church destroyed in 1940 by direct hit blitz. Now a small silent Prayer room and community hall open on weekdays.
D. N.
Nice for a summer lunch in the city
T. U.
St Anne's Churchyard is a small patch of green in the Soho. The only thing is there is a lot of pigoens... So beware!!!
Across the churchyard is the famous Les Miserable..
S. C.
The garden is gorgeous

Smallish garden with green grass and shade. Doesn't chuck out homeless people.
