We love this church! Me and my family come to the services sometimes, the services are wonderful so clearly spoken! The priest here is the one of the best in London, he carries out every service with quality, he also educates everyone about Orthodoxy at the end of every service which is useful as every service I learn so much and go home enlightened. I prefer this church to all the other churches in London as the community here is so friendly and the priest always makes sure the babies go first for communion! As other churches everyone runs and there is no order but this priest has everyone in order here and very organised! Me and my family feel at home and welcomed here. One in a million priest and church <3

(Translated) The favorite church of my student years ... I first started in 1996, then a second year student at the University of London. I lived in Walthamstow and every Sunday, I sang in the left chapel of the Church. Wonderful years, a warm feeling of Christ and Homeland abroad. The then priest Fr. Anthimos had stood by me like a true father. Let the soil that covers him be light. I also owe (and will owe forever) many thanks to all the people of the Church who did not for a moment make me feel like a stranger or an intruder. Finally, I owe eternal gratitude and honor to the memory of the woman who put me in the Orthodox community of St. Eleftheriou, the much-loved blessed now Mrs. Florentia Kolokassidou, in whose sacred memory I reverently lean my head. I hope and I pray that the glorious work done in I.N. never stops. St. Eleftheriou in Leyton. (Original) Η αγαπημένη εκκλησία των φοιτητικών μου χρόνων...Πρωτοπήγα το 1996, δευτεροετής φοιτητής τότε στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Λονδίνου. Έμενα στο Walthamstow και κάθε Κυριακή, έψελνα στο αριστερό ψαλτήρι της Εκκλησίας. Υπέροχα χρόνια, μια ζεστή αίσθηση Χριστού και Πατρίδας στην ξενιτειά. Ο τότε Ιερέας π. Άνθιμος μου είχε σταθεί σαν αληθινός πατέρας. Ας είναι ελαφρύ το χώμα που τον σκεπάζει. Οφείλω επίσης (και θα οφείλω για πάντα) πολλές ευχαριστίες σε όλους τους ανθρώπους της Εκκλησίας που δεν με έκαναν ούτε μια στιγμή να νιώσω ξένος ή παρείσακτος. Τέλος οφείλω αιώνια ευγνωμοσύνη και τιμή στην μνήμη της γυναίκας που με έβαλε στην ορθόδοξη κοινότητα του Αγ. Ελευθερίου, την πολυαγαπημένη μακαριστή πλέον κ. Φλωρεντία Κολοκασσίδου, στης οποίας την ιερή μνήμη κλίνω ευλαβικά το γόνυ. Εύχομαι και προσεύχομαι να μην σταματήσει ποτέ το θεάρεστο έργο που γίνεται στον Ι.Ν. Αγ. Ελευθερίου στο Leyton.
