I went here for a memorial service for a loved one who has died and the vicar was great, he held a good service and also told me about the history of the building, part of which had to be rebuilt after being bombed in the first or second world war (cant remember which). The stain glass windows are really stunning aswell, this is a great church with happy to help staff.

In 1954 at the age of 7yrs I attended the Sunday School for 3yrs until we moved to the Kent Coast. I always remember the church as welcoming to children. In fact children went to the front pews at all services. I enjoyed going to church then. My experience since has not been so good, but I still use St Saviours as my bench mark as how a church should be.

This is my place of worship. Been attending for over 20 years. Very friendly and welcoming to all including disabled and children. Service starts at 10am on Sunday. Also has little church for kids. Give us a try.

Welcoming church, middle of the road Anglican, no tambourines or flashy stuff but if you've ever wanted to go to church but felt nervous of where you'd fit in this could be a good place to start! Very diverse congregation with a willingness to be friendly without being scary!
