Just a one off visit as I was staying near by. Wonderful church very friendly welcome and a great service. Felt like home and family as a good church should. Most blessed.

Welcoming, caring, family orientated church, that values its members and all those who are new to the church. Regular hospitality, lunches and prayer events for you to come and worship and meditate over scripture. The best church I've been to. A genuine spiritually healing experience.

Unfortunately I had to use the Food Bank Services that St Simons Church offers just before Christmas. It was well organised with many helpers who were friendly yet professional. They offered a hot drink and biscuits and an informal interview to assess your needs. They had a lot of miscellaneous things like toiletries, books and clothing. I was contemplating joining the church but have since returned to UCKG.

REALLY SUPERB WELCOMING & A WONDERFUL FAMILY FEEL esp. during any given Hol-Season the emphasis is on PRAYERFUL ACTION backed by sound Scriptural study in 'Church-as-BODY'. Specifically in the immediate neighbourhood & community, tho' Deeper Delving will reveal Ties w/A Suitably Adequate number of Laudable Int'l Efforts on a Humanitarian & Spiritual level; literally 'circles-upon-circles ranging from the local neighbourhood to countries around our Globe.
Vicar Cameron COLLINGTON is an utterly down-to-earth Grass-Roots pragmatic and Humble Pastoral Leader & excellent Role-Model for Discipleship w/time for Everyone & Anyone; a marked concern for the congregation apportioned him on an individual level, as well as continually maintaining an 'interactive 'Teaching' role in the form of several very useful, palatable and practical Programs.
THESE...Continually being re-structured updated are represented to fit changing needs - I have always felt that '...if it is Not Practical; it is Not Spiritual...' and nowhere is that better shown than in this wonderful Church - whose 'DNA' is certainly wound about the local Community over a period of 140 Years [give-or-take].
Recently completed his 'sabbatical' and back in the 'actioning' Phase that MARKS St-Simon's as being a 'Force for the Good of the Community' in Bush-Green/Brook-Green area. Vicar COLLINGTON's Family is present, visible, active and his lovely wife very active in leading an enormous number of the various on-going 'Women's & Children's Family Activities' backed by a super-streamlined Admin. w/Greater Support from Family Groups & Solo-Offerings drawn from dedicated Members of the Church and Congregation and altho' it is a Family Church...very much so..if you do NOT have one you will soon be part of a BIG One, thus THAT Distinction is ALWAYS clearly made to INCLUDE YOU!
