I cannot recommend the outstanding warmth and welcome given to me in this Church yesterday.
I walked in a stranger and left having met a distant cousin and numerous connections with my family and friends in Aberdare, Cardiff and Swansea where I lived as a child.
Utterly heartwarming and I do not speak Welsh.
I was even extended an invitation which I duly accepted to join a monthly supper club.
A delightful experience to have found such kinship.
One to be repeated in the future.
Heartfelt thanks to all.

Excellent hymn singing with Will Thomas at the organ. Good to be singing SATB again after 45 years in the wilderness 😉

I received the warmest and friendliest welcome at this church on my first visit on a Sunday service than any other church in London or elsewhere (and I have visited many). As an adult learner of Welsh living in London the Welsh Church of Central London is excellent for meeting fluent welsh speakers. Prior to Covid lockdown after services many of the congregation would then go out for informal food : drinks which was very friendly. Welsh speakers to into account my minimal welsh language and would speak in English to me or kindly make the effort to help me with my welsh. My dog and I have become regulars. The congregation can sing marvellously- in harmony in a way you won’t find in any English church on a Sunday.
You don’t have to be a welsh speaker to attend and indeed ‘Pawb Croeso’ (everyone is welcome).
I would encourage anyone who is learning welsh whilst in London to attend the services here as it is a very good way of immersing yourself in welsh whilst meeting some very friendly fellow welsh folk. Oh and dog friendly too!

Received a warm welcome, and really enjoyed the singing, the sermon, and the tea and company in the vestry afterwards
