J. W.Beautiful church, saved from dereliction by the local community. Sadly many interior items lost when church was abandoned, but once again this feels like a place for the community.
Most of the church is thirteenth century, although the tower is fifteenth century and there was a substantial renovation led by the Reverend Cooper in 1869.
The church has some displays about John William Colenso, he was the rector here and went on to become the first Bishop of Natal. There's one Commonwealth war grave, commemorating the life of Thomas Edward Green.
J. N.solid little church, stopped there on dofe, no biscuits or orange juice but a nice bench to rest, no service however lets it down a bit. I was you I'd stop at St Peter though not in school time as there are too many kids
