The Russian Orthodox Church of St Aidan and Chad in Nottingham is a wonderful place for worship, prayer, communication... It's a multi-cultural multi-ethnic community. The services are sung both in English and Church-Slavonic. Everyone joyfully sings Our Father, the Creed and the pre-Communion prayer together which bonds all believers in one Body of Christ and creates a strong sense of community. The latter is also enabled by communal meals after the service with especially wide variety of cuisine on the feast days. There is a Sunday school for kids. Several pilgrimages are organized each year. Everyone is welcome to come! St Aidan and Chad's Russian Orthodox Church in Nottingham is a wonderful place for worship, prayer, fellowship... It is a multicultural and multi-ethnic community. Services are conducted in both English and Church Slavonic. Everyone unanimously and joyfully sings the Lord’s Prayer, the Creed and the prayer before Communion, which unites all believers into one Body of Christ and creates a strong sense of community. This is also provided by communal lunches after the service, with a particularly large variety of dishes on holidays. There is a Sunday school for children. Anyone can join the choir and learn to sing. Several pilgrimages are organized every year. We invite everyone!

A wonderful, canonical, traditional Russian Orthodox Church with a spiritual priest and very devout parishioners. Services are conducted in Church Slavonic and English. Great well established and traditional Russian Orthodox church, with a spiritual priest and a very warm and friendly paritioners. The services are served in a mix of English and church Slavonic languages.

I had attended services there for several months before I left the city. The church was very cosy and the atmosphere was great. People were very friendly, especially the priest, father Gregory. They also held a lovely small tea-party after every Sunday Liturgy where everybody could have a cup of tea and good conversation. I really enjoyed my time there!
