A. M.St Mary's Church aka St Mary's In The Lace Market is a beautiful church that has a lot of history attached to it.
It the oldest religious foundation and after the Roman Catholic Cathedral Of Nottingham the second oldest church in Nottingham.
Mentioned in the Domesday book the church dates from 1377 with further additions added in the 15th century, it's beautiful stained glass windows are magnificent and the Gothic architecture so pleasing on the eye, it's in superbly tended gardens and is one of the best Medieval buildings in Nottingham.
Easy to locate on High Pavement in the Lace Market district and most definitely well worth checking.
