Such a warm welcome and great vibe. Went to the 12pm service and it had such a lovely atmosphere and God's presence evident. Worship was modern, very well mixed and heartfelt. It was such a great sermon and service, thank you. So glad my daughter (1st year student) has found you.

Great welcome. Warm atmosphere. Simple, honest, evangelical worship. No hard sell and good coffee too. Great place to explore faith or just seek support.

I worship here every Sunday. Each service is so inspiring. Moving encouraging. Giving all the affirmations I need. The lesson always enthrall me. The singing in worshippers is my joy, it's so uplifting in spirit and we really gibe it upto God. Within this church, personally miracles have been achieved. I've had encounters with the Holy Spirit on more than one occasion . I've received prayer healing which has always had amazing results. I've made some good friends. Both of old as well as recently. It's a church that encourages us to connect with each other. Which for someone like myself is in isolates situation, means so very much.

This church has been family during the 20+ years I’ve been here. They’ve done an amazing job during lockdown to still minister and build community. You can visit a service now from anywhere in the world.

St Aldates is a lovely Church that has fantastic Bible-centric teaching. The services are very relaxed with free coffee afterwards to meet new people. I've always felt very welcome and at home since first coming to the Church. The morning service is has a real mixture of people from students to families and the evening and late services have a younger vibe.
I particularly like the strong outreach to the community including people who are homeless and those in prison - it really is a Church for all filled with God's love.
Being such a big Church, over 1000 people visiting each week, it can be hard to establish friendships but once you've joined a pastorate (one of the small groups meeting around the county), you feel right at home.

When I visited this church, even though we are in a tough period, I was impressed with the amount of people following the Sunday mass.

A friendly, spirit filled church in the centre of Oxford, which has a history dating back to the first millennium AD. The worship times are always spirit filled and inspiring, as is the preaching.

People were friendly, childcare was excellent, the sermon seemed like a 45 minute lecture.

Friendly; welcoming; full of the Spirit. A great mix of people and cultures- and it had a great freshers' group when I was there.

I used to come here to refill my reservoir as a youthworker of Barford St.Michael and Barford St.John (and partially Deddington) back in 2006-2007. Good memories.

My home church for over 20 years. I've stayed through many changes and still encounter God here. What more can I say?

(Translated) The site has been used for Christian worship dating back to Saxon times. It may have been one of the three churches within the Saint Frideswide monastic enclosure. The first important constructions, in the 12th century, were the nave and the choir, the central part of the building as it is now. Since then, the church has been enlarged and remodeled several times. The original tower built during the 13th century was completely rebuilt in 1873.
