From the outside, this is a lovely, old, 17th century church. On our rambles in the area, H and I stop here - at the seat in the churchyard - and have our lunch. We often see a Red Kite soaring overhead as we sit in this peaceful spot. One of these days we'll go inside.

Lovely village church with well tended grounds.

A quaint very old typically English small church. Revisiting after nine years following my sons wedding
This church as stated is a small well proportioned church, worth a look if you are in the area.

This little church is Anglo-Saxon and later. The font dates from the first decades of the 12th century and is said to have been brought from Sibberton Lodge. The extremely animated decoration distracts from noticing the font bowl was actually broken and put back together. (The village of Sibberton was deserted late in 14th Century due to plague.) The South doorway dates to around 1200 and sticks out from the inner side of the wall which seems to have been rebuilt around it.
